We spent two nights in a one bedroom cottage here and we very satisfied with our stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable and spacious, with everything a visitor could need for a short stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, suggesting accommodation options that were the most useful to us rather than what we would pay most for. The resort is very conveniently placed for exploring local fjords, mountains etc. It's great for families, offering a warm pool and a large playing area with complicated climbing structures, inflatables, slides and play houses for children to enjoy.

L’accueil est bon. Dans l’entrée, on découvre de grandes pièces avec déjà de gros fauteuils en cuir sur lesquels il est possible de se reposer. La chambre qui nous a été attribuée se trouve à l’étage, à l’extrémité du bâtiment par rapport à la rue. Elle est surprenante. D’abord, il s’agit d’une très grande pièce, meublée de plusieurs fauteuils en cuir, avec un autre lit une place et un meuble original. Il y a des fenêtres sur toute la longueur de la pièce qui s'occultent avec de grands rideaux La vue donne sur le fjord. Ensuite, il existe au pied du lit un grand poste de télévision tourné vers la partie salon et, collé à celui-là, un autre plus petit dirigé vers la tête de lit. La salle de bains est grande et agréable. L’hôtel est situé dans un quartier calme et nous n’avons entendu aucun bruit la nuit. Le petit déjeuner, qui se prend dans la grande salle à manger de l’hôtel, est bien fourni. Un peu moins sans doute que les autres hôtels que nous avons eus. Nous n’avons pas dîné à l’hôtel, mais c’est possible. Il existe plusieurs possibilités de manger rapidement tout près de l’hôtel. Nous avons choisi, quant à nous, le café-bar Dampskipskaien, au bord du fjord, à une centaine de mètres de l’hôtel. Sympathique, on y trouve beaucoup de jeunes. Ce n’est pas un véritable restaurant. A noter un choix de bières originales. Avec une voiture, il est possible de se garer devant l’hôtel ou sur le côté, voire dans les rues voisines. Le parking n’appartient pas à l’hôtel et il est donc payant, au tarif le plus fréquent en Norvège (moins de 2€ l’heure), mais uniquement en journée. Il est gratuit de 17 h à 8 h du matin. Nous n’avons passé qu’une nuit dans cet hôtel. C’est une halte agréable avant d’entamer une journée, par exemple en partant en ferry à Kaupanger (l’embarcadère est vraiment tout proche et on peut voir une belle église en bois juste avant d'y arriver).

This is a nice hotel in Sognal. It is very centrally located right along a nice creek and near everything in town. The layout is a little weird. If you park in the back in the parking garage (which you have to pay for) you have to walk around the parking lot, up a ramp, through the restaurants, and into the lobby. There is a really old wing and a new wing. Our rooms were in the new wing. The larger restaurant only serves tour groups. The smaller restaurant is open to all guests but has a much more limited menu. The rooms were very comfortable and mine had a nice patio door with a view of the creek and mountains.

Il posto è molto buono, l'hotel è Wu Wan.L'apparecchiatura nella stanza è molto semplice, forse perché la vecchia casa può fare solo questo. Il vento brucia direttamente e prende un altro all'interno e mi cambia immediatamente la reazione del fratello di Wu Tang. Il ristorante è molto delizioso, la colazione è ricco e l'atmosfera del ristorante è fantastica.Il parcheggio è alla porta dell'hotel, ed è conveniente.Oltre alla stanza è troppo semplice e un po'sgustoso, gli altri sono soddisfatti.

Hotel super aconchegante! Quarto de madeira, amplo, com vista para os Fjords, super romântico e agradável. Café da manhã excelente, com muitas opções e com uma vista logo pela manhã. Atendimento da recepção excelente! A cidade é pequena e tudo fica bem próximo (menos de 100 metros) supermercado, estação do trem e ponto de informação turística.

The location of the hotel is close to the train station. It’s a historical hotel, grand but slightly old. However it fits nicely with the Flåm environment.

A circa 30 minuti di distanza, abbiamo trovato questo hotel molto adatti a Gaupne, dove abbiamo potuto sistemarci in tempo per un grande pasto. La camera - Junior suite, a nord, con un grande balcone che guarda il fiume. Anche il colazione aveva una selezione perfetta, e tutti i dipendenti erano molto professionali, anche Hans Olav era molto utile con le informazioni. Ci saremo tornati.
