Hotel in zona Museo Alfonso Ariza, La Rambla

Spent 3 nights at this hotel which is rated as 5* - a rating I don’t have any issue with. The building exterior and interior are all architecturally ‘brutal’. All surfaces are manufactured from hard materials (tile, glass, steel) - the exterior is clad in rusted steel. This type of design appeals to me so I quite liked the fact that everything had an industrial, clean cut practical feel. Location wise it sits at the end of a long well maintained park/gardens with orange trees aplenty which stretch from the railway station to the hotel and which is bordered and truncated with main roads. The downside of this is that traffic noise is evident despite the rooms being well glazed etc. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable with jacuzzi bath, two showers, double basins and separate toilet/bidet. Very helpful staff, great facilities including a nice rooftop pool, bar and sunbathing area. Breakfast was really good and well organised and there is a large enclosed courtyard which is partially covered with seating. The hotel is located within a 10 minute stroll from all the main historic attractions and extensive number of restaurants and Tabernas. Have no hesitations in recommending this hotel and would return without doubt.

Abbiamo alloggiato in questo hotel di passaggio a Cordoba, l'hotel si trova fuori dal centro ad una ventina di minuti a piedi dal centro, passando per il ponte romano. Le camere sono abbastanza spaziose e pulite, ma ci siamo trovati veramente bene per la colazione, mia moglie celiaca, è stata servita con tutte accortezze, pane caldo, muffin, salumi e formaggi uscita dalla cucina e non a buffet, ed altro.

Muy lindo pueblo y buenísimo dormir a 30 min de Córdoba...mucho más barato y tranquilo...el hotel bien ,limpio y muy amables los de recepción...para tomar el desayuno hay dos cafeterías Cerca y en el centro de todo para comer ...pueblo muy tranquilo

L'hotel è molto carino e lo staff in Reception gentile e accogliente. La camera, spaziosa e ben pulita, si affacciava sul centro storico e quindi sulla Mezquita, una vista stupenda! Nonostante ciò non era per niente rumorosa. La colazione non aveva molta scelta e il personale non era stato informato della mia intolleranza al lattosio, quindi sono caduti dalle nuvole quando ho chiesto se avessero qualcosa che facesse al caso mio. Nonostante ciò hanno fatto del loro meglio per portarmi qualcosa senza lattosio. La location dell'Hotel è perfetta per chi come noi viaggia con bambini piccoli perché essendo molto centrale ti permette di raggiungere facilmente i principali luoghi d'interesse della città. Nelle vicinanze ci sono tanti ristoranti ed è molto facile trovare un posto per mangiare anche senza prenotazione. Il plus è il parcheggio. Se dovessimo tornare a Cordoba di sicuro alloggeremo qui.

We had only one night to spend in Córdoba, so I wanted to be near the Mezquita and the old Roman bridge. The Hesperia fit that bill. We reserved a room with view. Unfortunately, trees blocked the view of the bridge from our room, but we still could see across the tree-filled riverbed to the Mezquita and past Córdoba to the mountains beyond. I am glad we requested the view room, despite the trees. I also enjoyed ”people-watching” from our room, as some tour buses dropped people off nearby, and we could watch people walk along the large pedestrian sidewalk opposite the street. We treated ourselves to some drinks at the rooftop bar in the evening, too, and the view from the bar was spectacular! The mojitos the bartender made for us were fresh and delicious as well. I especially enjoyed being able to walk across the Roman bridge to the Mezquita. Even in the rain, someone was playing music on the bridge, and a passerby in front of us started dancing. The next morning, I walked back to the bridge to visit the museum in the tower on our side of the river (which was well worth the small admission fee) and the bridge area was just delightful with music and so many people out enjoying the day. The breakfast we had included was quite good, with multiple stations of foods and beverages, including a peach juice which my daughter and I loved. The room itself was clean and in good shape, with a large window facing the river and town. It originally had 2 twin beds pushed beside each other, but when I sat on mine and leaned against the wall, the bed moved, so I realized it was on wheels and it was easy to move the beds apart from each other, which was nice. A kettle was provided, so we enjoyed some tea as well as some sodas we were able to keep cool in the mini fridge. The tub was pretty deep, so my daughter treated herself to a bath in it. Also, I was surprised to find a nice restaurant in the building next door to the Hesperia. So even though the Hesperia is not on the Mezquita side of the river, we did not have to go far for a nice meal out! All in all, I can recommend this hotel for the good service we received from the front desk workers, the bartender, the housekeepers, and breakfast people, as well as for its convenient location and views.

A mon arrivée, le monsieur qui m'a accueilli ne trouvait pas ma réservation, je lui ai même montré le mail de confirmation, il a appelé une personne au téléphone, on fait des recherches et finalement j'ai eu ma chambre ouff. Il y a le wifi gratuit dans la chambre ( code sur la pancarte qui est sur le bureau) Je n'ai pas testé ni le diner ni le petit déjeuner Hostal en bord de route mais j'ai eu la chance d'avoir une chambre qui donnait de l'autre coté. Le petit balcon est appréciable. Douche grande mais pas très propre (noir sur les joints et dans le rail) et qui ferme pas bien. Lits peu confortables et mous Il manquerait un petit frigo pour mettre de l'eau au frais

Ein zwar nicht riesiges, aber schönes Zimmer in dem faszinierenden Boutique-Hotel LAS CASAS DE LA JUDERIA in Cordoba. Toll gelegen iom Zentrum, in den engen Gassen des ehemaligen Judenviertels. Viele unterschiedliche Zimmer mit mehreren verspielten und unterschiedlichen Innenhöfen. Stilvoll gestaltete Zimmer. Einziges Manko: nur wenig Beleuchtung in den Zimmern, die Lampen so dezent dass Dämmerlicht resultiert, feine Lämpchen beleuchten dezent die Wandbilder, aber das heisst zum Lesen oder Stadtplanstudieren ist es schwierig. Wir können dieses Hoitel nur empfehlen. Morgenessen nahmen wir in einem nahegelegenen Caffee zu günstigerem Preis. Wegen unserer Anreise per Auto benutztemn wir das Parkhaus ”Parking La Mezquita” um die Ecke (zum Preis von 18 Euro/Tag), dh nur 150 entfernt und bestens erreichbar, auch mit dem Rollkoffer. Das Hotel liegt ganz nah zur Hauptsehenswürdigkeit La Mezquita von Córdoba, bei der die (separat zu bezahlende und zeitlich fixierte) Turmbersteigung einen tollen Blick auf die Stadt gewährt und trotz der etwas anstrend hohen Treppenstufen unbedingt empfehlenswert ist.

Campsite was quite empty / quiet when we went in August. There are lots of lodges and permanent caravans where most people were staying. This left the pitch areas quite empty. Toilets and showers were good in the main and plenty of them. Supermarket was pretty useless and we did not really rate the restaurant very highly as seemed to be microwaved food. Pool was very good- large and clean with lots of sitting area but take your own chairs! Bus stops outside the site for visiting Cordoba and costs €3 each way per adult. Cordoba is lovely and well worth a visit. Bud is easy and convenient but not very frequent.

Hotel in una posizione strategica, camere un po’ vecchiotte e le tubature del bagno puzzavano troppo, il personale sorridente ma per avere i servizi bisogna chiedere esplicitamente… esempio la valigia da caricare in macchina nel parcheggio l’ho dovuto chiedere e sembravano quasi scocciati.
