Citrus Creek Plantation

Everything was as advertised. Great service, clean, and everything you would need in the room. Bread and breakfast basket very good. Hosts went above and beyond to make our stay great. We would recommend and would return to Citrus Creek.

The food was excellent and the managers of the hotel very warm and welcoming. They very kindly provided with some local food and fruits. The location is also charming. However, the bedroom became infested with giant cockroaches at night. They were everywhere and even found their way inside our bags and toiletries. I raised it in person to the manager who told me it never happened before at this scale. I would not recommend staying overnight if you are not closely acquainted with cockroaches.

Four of us traveling, stayed at Vanil Vaness. The colors that Tana decorated her place with are beyond happy. Every single space of the cottage is painted or done with mosaic. When you enter the second level of the cottage, there are glass blocks in the painted floor, letting light in. Was blown away the minute I walked through the front door. Vanil Vaness was spotless, and decorated with local flowers, and surprises at every turn. I can't say enough about how magical it felt, like we were transported to a special hide awy in the forest. Tana also made the experience so very special. She delivered fresh baked bread every morning(and we took the leftovers when we departed), and fresh passion fruit juice. What a heavenly way to start each new day. She was so gracious and friendly and helpful. We took two full day tours. Ossie was our guide. I can honestly say, of all my travels all over central and South America, he is hands down the best guide I have ever had. His love for his country, combined with his vast knowledge of the local plants, trees, fruits, and local attractions was stunning. We stopped at the local Farmacy which was the best, and also local restaurants. Tana worked with Ossie to make sure we saw the best of everything. The food at Citrus Creek was also outstanding. I am a French trained professional chef, and truly enjoyed the tarragon chicken(wowsa), the marlin, and the parrot fish. Portions were huge, like they are all over the country. The gentleman chef was very gracious and friendly. Loved loved loved the dinners!!! We will be returning again next year, and enjoying Tana's gracious hospitality again. Thank you Citrus Creek for one of the best trips of my life!!!

We made reservations there for dinner. We were greeted by a French couple who were the owners, and they personally went over the menu. The sald we ordered was delicious; tangy, fresh, and flavorful. The main course was fish with tasty pasta and eggplant side dishes. The dessert was a yummy assor**ent of cakes, fruits, whipped cream and ice cream. The a**osphere was as cozy as it gets. We loved it. My only regret is that we were only there for one meal. We would have loved to have gone back for more.

Nous y sommes allés en 2017 ….avant Irma Un lieu idyllique et des gens qui apportent que du bien . Idéale pour se ressourcer et se retrouver, une pause dans cette vie de fou qu on mène tous les jours ! Nous y avons passé 5 jours et plaçons cette expérience dans les meilleures de nos voyages A l époque les habitations étaient traditionnelles en sans technologies et franchement c était formidable J espère que leur réputation reste la même après ce nouveau départ dû à Irma !! Personnels accueillant et au petits soins ….merci et rien que d y penser , je signe de suite pour un nouveau séjour dans votre établissement implanté sur cette magnifique île de la Caraïbe

Nous avons logé à la village Ylang Ylang pour 3 nuits en famille . Cette expérience fut magique , la villa lovée à la fois au milieu de la forêt tropicale et au bord de la Rivière Taberi est très confortable, bien équipée et le lieu est très dépaysant . Les bains de rivières matins et soirs étaient très agréables grâce aux quelques marches en pierre menant du jardin au lit de la rivière , un pur moment de détente et bien-être . La literie est bonne, la cuisine possède tout ce qu il faut pour cuisiner si besoin , mais les bons petits plats proposés par le cuisinier français Patrice et son assistante dominicaise sont si délicieux que nous avons privilégié les dîners au Riverside Café . Les lieux sont décorés avec goût et gaité par l artiste et compagne de Patrice , Artimuse, qui en plus de peindre de magnifiques toiles, tee-shirts et foulards (proposés aux clients dans la boutique du restau )nous a accueillis avec gentillesse, disponibilité et professionnalisme . Les jardins tropicaux sont très bien entretenus et si dépaysants , cet endroit est une merveille pour visiter autrement la Dominique . Nous recommandons . Franchement

Fantastisch verblijf gehad in “ons” huis naast de rivier! De rust, de overweldigende natuur, de maaltijden van Hervé, alles was geweldig! Koelkast gevuld voor het ontbijt en ‘s avonds na het diner een versgebakken brood mee voor de volgende ochtend! Merril van de receptie ( & de kunst!) heeft ons voorzien van goede tips & informatie. Dit alles en de schoonheid van Dominica én zijn inwoners maakten dat we hier eigenlijk wat langer hadden willen verblijven!

Déjà visité il y a 8 ans, cet endroit n'a pas changé ! Toujours aussi reposant en pleine nature. Très bon accueil de nos hôtes. Superbes lodges en bord de rivière. Possibilité de dîner à la table d'hôte sur réservation. Au piano, un chef français ravira vos papilles.
