Just had a lovely stay here. The owner is super helpful with booking tours, or recommending places to eat and shop. (She has great taste!) Location is in a quiet area, but very close to walking into town. Rooms are simple, clean and chic. Breakfast are simple and delicious local favorites. It is a B & B and has just a few rooms, and very quiet. I couldn't recommend it enough.

I just returned from a four-night stay at the Mantarraya Outpost and I cannot say enough about this place. The bed and breakfast is clean, airy, modern, relaxing, warm and welcoming. The room was well appointed with carefully selected pieces providing you with everything you need and nothing you don't. The host, Luisa Fernanda, was an absolute pleasure not to mention a wealth of advice and information about where to go in La Paz. And to top it all of was a delicious breakfast in the morning, clearly made with love. I can't wait to go back!!!

Luisa Fernanda is a lovely person and host. The rooms were so elegant and comfortable, and the breakfasts were all so delicious! You could easily walk to fun eateries from this location. She also knew exactly where we should go and what to do. I highly recommend this gem!

The Mantarraya Outpost is a small, friendly, peaceful, comfortable spot a few blocks from the Malecón, and walking distance to a lively neighborhood with shops and cafes, and another few blocks away from downtown. Luisa is very friendly and helpful and I very much enjoyed her rapid email responsiveness. Her staff is friendly and the breakfasts are delicious. Really enjoyed meeting the other guests around the breakfast table. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and it is very quiet. This place is wonderful!

Louisa is the perfect host and Mantarraya Outpost is a tranquil, serene and beautiful space. She welcomed me and my teenage sons, helped organise trips and ensured we started each day with delicious breakfast. It's the best place in La Paz!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Luisa is incredibly kind and hospitable, had some great recommendations for us, and we enjoyed our conversations over breakfast in the morning. The B&B was lovely. We also loved La Paz- such a beautiful place with so much wildlife and beautiful scenery to enjoy. Would come back and stay here again in a heartbeat!

This is such a beautiful gem in la Paz, which itself is a gem in the region. Luisa and her team are incredibly hospitable, bringing everybody together for breakfast and the room I stayed in was perfect - well designed and comfortable, with a large shared outdoor area. The hotel is in easy reach of the boardwalk and the town centre

We had some friends visiting from the US and wanted to have a quick visit to La Paz. It was the 488th anniversary of the city, and many of the usual hotels were booked - good thing, because we discovered the Mantarraya Outpost and will definitely be back! Small boutique bed and breakfast, run by Louisa, who is very gracious, friendly and helpful. About 8 - 10 immaculate rooms, very contemporary furnishings, nicely appointed and with AC (didn't need it in early May). Excellent breakfast provided outside the kitchen. Next time we'll stay for more than just one night. Very close to many excellent restaurants and a short walk to the Malecon. Quiet neighborhood, plenty of parking.

A wonderful place to stay while in La Paz. Comfortable clean rooms and a great breakfast. Luisa is a wonderful hostess and we will definitely be back. Make sure to stay here during your next visit to La Paz.
