La Digue Luxury Beach & Spa

The La Digue Luxury Beach Bungalows was the perfect stay for our time in La Digue! We were celebrating our 15-year wedding anniversary in the Seychelles, and the hostess paid special attention to this by beautifully decorating our bungalow upon arrival. It really added to the romantic atmosphere of our getaway! We stayed in the lower bungalow, Le Sable, which I believe is the best option. It offers direct access to the beach while still providing a private setting, so you're not exposed to beachgoers. The location of the bungalows is ideal, being very close to the famous Anse Source d'Argent beach, and just a short 5-minute bike ride to the city center, La Passe. There are also several great restaurants nearby, such as Rey & Josh and K2 Takeaway. One night, we even enjoyed a BBQ, as the property provides its own BBQ facilities. This was something I really appreciated, as we could prepare our own breakfasts and lunches, which we enjoyed on our porch. The nearby Reggae Bar added a unique touch to our stay. We often relaxed on the porch, listening to the music in the evenings, which made us feel even more immersed in the island vibe. The music wasn't disruptive at all, and once inside the bungalow, it was completely quiet, so we had no issues with sleep. Before our visit, I was a bit hesitant due to some of the reviews I had read. However, I can confidently say we had an amazing stay and will definitely return!

It was a pleasant stay. We enjoy much the apartments located at the small private beach. Many thanks to Sayeed for his help and hospitality. Sayeed could help with the bikes and everything to make your stay convenient. The apartments are very close to the Grand Anse Beach.

I asked for top floor I got ground floor. We had a wedding day celebration they asked me for a certificate....which I do not carry on me when traveling also had my wife birthday few days ago....didn't get even a chocolate The water was not draining And for desert we didn't have hot water on first evening The window in the barhroom was not closing

Sayeed and Brigitte greeted us upon arrival. We were glad for both of them because we had enough luggage to go around! Our place was like an apartment with its own deck looking out onto the beach. Bicycling is the main mode of transportation on La Digue and Sayeed was kind enough to lend his bike forme to run a quick errand. We were disappointed though with the fitness center and spa. Their is a cost of $15/hour at the gym, but the equipment needs a major upgrade and the sauna at the spa was out of order. They were the reasons why we chose to book here instead of somewhere else.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est bien. Il n’y a personne pour nous accueillir, il fallait appeler un numéro de téléphone en arrivant… Heureusement que le loueur de vélo est passé au moment où nous arrivions. La femme de chambre est venue mais ne nous a rien expliqué. Le lit est dur. (Un sur matelas à été rajouté la nuit d’après) Le reggae bar d’à côté est extrêmement bruyant (jusqu’à 23h30, heureusement qu’il y a un jour dans la semaine où il est fermé). Les fenêtres sont teintées, même dans la salle de bain. La journée c’est bien, le soir tout le monde nous voit (quand on prend notre douche ou bien que l’on est sur les toilettes, les gens peuvent aisément nous voir nus). (Un rideau a été rajouté dehors suite à nos plaintes) Le jardin n’est pas privatif, tout le monde y passe pour accéder à la plage. Pour le petit-déjeuner, on donne un horaire, il n’est pas respecté (entre 30 minutes d’avance et 45 minutes de retard, pratique lorsque l’on a prévu une excursion !). Le plateau est posé sur la table dehors et retiré dans la matinée. 3 heures après l’avoir pris il était encore là, avec les fourmis et les oiseaux qui terminaient nos restes. On nous sert un carré de beurre de 2cm/2cm alors que nous sommes deux. Il y a une grosse cuillère de confiture pour deux également. Il n’y a pas de téléphone dans la chambre, donc organiser notre séjour a été difficile. Le sol n’est jamais lavé, à notre arrivée il collait à certain endroit et nous avions les pieds noirs après avoir marché pieds nus. Il y avait un goutte d’urine séchée sur la cuvette. Dernier point, c’est lorsque l’on a pris le taxi pour retourner au port après le départ que nous avons vu passer le mini-bus de l’hôtel ! Sympathique service …

300€ la nuit pour ça ! Ce n est pas justifié … la chambre est bien mais sans équipement particulier et sans attention ni même un sachet de café … on vous laisse le sceau et le balai après le ménage pas d eau chaude en arrivant donc jacuzzi sur la terrasse impossible et à 8h travaux en dessous de notre chambre nous avons été obligé de faire la remarque pour que le garçon s arrête de taper comme un dingue. La propriétaire est adorable mais ça ne fait pas tout. le jardin n a aucun charme. On sent la volonté de bien faire mais sains succès … dommage ! On regrette nos trois nuits de ce prix là !
