Having stayed at over 20 InterContinental hotels, I would rank the one in Chantilly Forest among the top 5! It’s easily accessible, just a 50-minute ride via Bolt/Uber for around 75 euros from Orly Airport, and about 30 minutes and 30 euros from Charles de Gaulle Airport. The rooms are refurbished and beautifully decorated, equipped with all the necessary amenities: • Chromecast TV • A large full-body mirror • Premium “Byredo Gypsy Water” bathroom products • Plenty of electrical outlets and USB ports by the bed • Nespresso machine and a selection of teas • Comfortable bedding and excellent housekeeping service • There’s also a steamer in the room, in addition to an iron, which was a great bonus! Breakfast was delicious, with a wide range of options, and the breakfast restaurant OPERA, offers stunning views of the forest and gardens, making for a wonderful start to your day. Dinner at Stradivarius Restaurant was a bit pricey, with a limited menu that felt more like a lounge menu than a fine dining experience. Dining at the hotel is your only option if you’re there for a relaxing getaway. While the service was friendly and good, the menu became repetitive after two days. I would love to see more variety and especially more vegetarian options. Among the hotel staff, one person stood out—Nathan. He truly embodies what it means to offer a personal touch. He took exceptional care of us, making suggestions about the local area and giving us tips on how to make the most of our stay there! Nathan is a real asset to the hotel—thanks again! Be sure to take advantage of the complimentary hotel electric bikes to explore Chantilly Castle and the town. The only downside was that the hotel wasn't decorated for Christmas, and they began the decorations quite late. We had hoped the Christmas decor would have been up sooner. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family—it's an experience not to be missed! One of the best additions to the IHG portfolio in 2024!
