Hotel con piscina a Kyrenia

E'stato tornato da una settimana di soggiorno all'hotel e era fantastico. Ci sono stati tre di noi, mia madre e mio figlio di 15 anni, quindi abbiamo prenotato una camera di famiglia con 2 camere da letto. La stanza era buona con molta spazio e un bagno decente con doccia grande. C'era un piccolo frigo in una delle camere, e l'unica cosa che abbiamo sentito perdere era una caldaia e un'installazione per la preparazione di tè/caffee. Era il compleanno di mio figlio mentre eravamo li', e il personale ci ha preparato una torta e ha cantato un compleanno felice per lui che era bello. Abbiamo soggiornato a letto e colazione e il buffet di colazione ha avuto molte scelte di continentale, frutta, pane e pascoli, cereali e una selezione calda con fatto per ordinare uova fritte e omelete. Sicuramente consiglia per le famiglie, poiché le piscine sono ideali per i bambini e sono molto familiari

Stayed for two nights at the hotel over the Christmas period. This was not the first time we had spent Christmas at the hotel but this was definitely the best so far. At check in we were greeted by Dalia who completed our registration very quickly and efficiently. The service, accommodation, quality of alcoholic drinks and food were all excellent. We were particularly impressed by the breakfast selection on offer in the Spice Restaurant. On our previous visits we found this to be a little basic. Fruit juice had to be purchased at an extra charge and the cereal choices were limited. The whole of our group were impressed by the improvements. All staff especially in the restaurant were very pleasant and attentive. Our waiter Raj was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. A special mention has to be made about Nicla the restaurant manager. She worked very hard ensuring that everyone had a warm welcome to the restaurant and was aware of everything happening with her staff and guests. Our rooms were beautiful and housekeeping made sure they were kept clean and well stocked with amenities. Looking forward to our next visit.

The check in was professional and swift with a warm genuine smile. The location is extraordinary. The Seaview room was beautifully decorated and clean. The bathroom had a full size bathtub to soak in and the verandah was expansive. The bed and pillows were excellent and the towels were nice and fluffy. Finally the breakfast is outstanding with a large selection of hot and cold goodies on offer including made to order omelettes from an open kitchen. We love the place.

Poiché la stanza che ci era stata lasciata era in vacanza, dopo due prove, e la pulizia era cattiva, soprattutto nei sedili, non era la stessa pulizia richiesta nel bagno. L'hotel vuole solitamente un'antica vacanza.

Pros - Location - Spa - Roof top pool - Food Hotel within easy distance to harbour, bars,shops, and local transport. Rooms spacious and very clean. Cons - busy road opposite two petrol stations and traffic heavy all day. Staff on reception not helpful or accommodating. There is no air conditioning and our room on arrival at midnight was 26.5°. We couldn't believe it and had to insist on two fans that we left on permanently all night and the day when we were in the room. Some of the electric sockets and plugs had loose wiring so we had to keep reporting faults. Our main complaint was the heavy smell of petrol that we assumed came from the petrol station. When we phoned reception to request a move to another room we were told there were no more twin bedded rooms available but for what is classified as a five star hotel, I'm sure they could have accommodated us. The stench was overwhelming. Finally after calling in one of the cleaners she indicated it wasn't the petrol stations but the drain in the shower that she would clean out. That evening on returning to the room, the smell had gone. However next morning it started to seep in again. We called in another cleaner and pointed out the stench and showed her the sockets that didn't work. She said leave it to me and that night everything was fixed but we only had two nights left of our holiday. The cleaner's name was Hava and I would like to commend her to the hotel management. Our conversation was done though my translation app and sign language. In spite of everything we enjoyed our stay as the pros outweighed the cons. Would not stay at this hotel again until it is modernised. The summer months must be unbearable.

I have had several wonderful stays at the Pia Bella, as a solo traveller. The property is a peaceful spot amidst the city. There are two lovely pools, never too busy. Staff are very helpful. In particular a lovely guy in the garden bar, very friendly. I would only stay in the new block, where the rooms are modern, very clean and comfortable. The old block is very dated and smells of smoke. I don’t know how people can complain about the food - I never bothered eating out as I enjoyed the food at the hotel so much. In particular the lovely sandwiches from the garden bar at lunchtime, which come with gorgeous homemade chips. For evening meal, the range is not huge - but this is not some sprawling hotel, it’s perfectly sufficient. There was always something to choose from, and the desserts were lovely too. It would be nice to have a few more fresh fruits variety at breakfast. Wifi is free, throughout the property, although I struggled with it when staying in a city-side room, must have been a bit further from the router. Thank you for another wonderful stay Pia Bella.

My family and I stayed at the hotel for a week. We felt like home. We would recommend it to everyone. The staff is very friendly and helps to solve any question or problem. Breakfast is simple, a little boring after a week. There are good restaurants nearby for dinner. Conveniently, there is an outside bar open all day serving drinks and food. The prices are not very high. The rooms are neat, have a refrigerator, air conditioner. Some bathrooms are newly renovated. Pools with sunbeds are comfortable, a beautiful oasis of plants has been created outside, so you don't feel like the street is nearby. The only thing to keep in mind is that the sea is quite far away, so it is more convenient to have a rented car or go with a taxi (depending on the beach, the price is about 10 EUR one way).
