Hotel in zona Girne Cami, Kyrenia

E'stato tornato da una settimana di soggiorno all'hotel e era fantastico. Ci sono stati tre di noi, mia madre e mio figlio di 15 anni, quindi abbiamo prenotato una camera di famiglia con 2 camere da letto. La stanza era buona con molta spazio e un bagno decente con doccia grande. C'era un piccolo frigo in una delle camere, e l'unica cosa che abbiamo sentito perdere era una caldaia e un'installazione per la preparazione di tè/caffee. Era il compleanno di mio figlio mentre eravamo li', e il personale ci ha preparato una torta e ha cantato un compleanno felice per lui che era bello. Abbiamo soggiornato a letto e colazione e il buffet di colazione ha avuto molte scelte di continentale, frutta, pane e pascoli, cereali e una selezione calda con fatto per ordinare uova fritte e omelete. Sicuramente consiglia per le famiglie, poiché le piscine sono ideali per i bambini e sono molto familiari

Stayed here for one week in October. The weather was extremely hot during our stay. We arrived early hours of the morning due to a late Easy Jet flight into Larnica then hanging around for our private transfer driver. The journey across the border wasn’t too bad but most of it across open farm land in the pitch black which was quite unnerving. I booked a superior room in the new wing above the restaurant. The room was modern, large & with a small balcony where I sat in the morning with my coffee watching the sun rise. Being at the back of the hotel, there was no issue with noise. We were on a bed & breakfast tariff as eating out in Northern Cyprus is very reasonable. Most of the guests staying here were either frequent returning guests, part of a tour group or only visiting for a few days to Gamble at the ****** next door or for cheap cosmetic surgery! Getting a sun bed around the pool was not an issue and there was a large bar/snack bar where there were plenty of tables and chairs with many in shady spots. The bar staff came around the pool for drinks/snacks orders too. All the staff were helpful and very friendly. You could walk into the old town from this hotel but because of the heat we got a taxi. We did an organised trip to Famagusta and the Ghost Town. We took a taxi to Kyriena castle and a taxi to Belapaise Monastery. All worth doing. Glad I booked this hotel instead of down in the Old Town. Other couples we spoke to that were in hotels down town complained about the constant traffic noise. Plenty of eateries within a short walk but watch out, the pavements are very uneven and a lot are broken too. Unfortunately the harbour area was still closed off due to overrunning completion which was a shame but looked like it was nearly finished.

Abbiamo letto alcune cattive recensioni prima di prenotare e abbiamo ancora deciso di provare questo hotel. E siamo stati assolutamente soddisfatti di tutto. La gestione ha ovviamente fatto alcuni miglioramenti dal 2017. Ben fatto. Un buon colazione con una vasta scelta di cibo e una macchina da caffè.Molti ristoranti vicino, sulla strada principale. Personale amichevole (soprattutto la donna iraniana alla reception) Dopo aver lasciato l'hotel Park Palace, abbiamo soggiornato anche in altri 3 posti e abbiamo ritenuto che fosse il miglior hotel in vacanza a Cipro. Lo consigliamo a chiunque sia alla ricerca di una stanza alberghiera a Kyrenia.

Unfortunately, even though the rooms were relatively good in terms of cleanliness, comfort and size, the hospitality was not up to standard. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, a group of 40 people for the purposes of the conference. The reception was very rude treating us like we were not paying clients even though we had booked a number of rooms, often saying that the ‘clients’ have been complaining. 12 people were refused to use the lobby at 10 pm saying that it was closed. There was no sign saying so and we were never informed of any such policy. Instead of being welcomed at the premises, we were treated as if the hotel was doing us a favour by allowing us to stay there. At the same time, the very same receptionist was either sleeping during working hours making us believe that he was the one being disturbed or was watching very loudly videos on his phone. Another receptionist was talking on the phone and was screaming. Overall the professionalism of the staff compromised the facilities of the hotel.

Second time visiting this hotel and everything was perfect. I love their breakfast, although this time was very hot outside and there were some flies inside the restaurant, staying on the food.The sparkling wine at the breakfast is a nice touch.Bed was comfortable,towels were clean, balcony had sea view room.Bathroom was having a bad smell but we kept the door closed.Mehmet was very kind to accommodate us again in lovely rooms and even he prepared a surprise for my friend's Birthday.Thank you Mehmet

Arrivavano le ore di mattina circa le due, dopo aver viaggiato tutto il giorno, il taxi ci ha lasciati alla parte chiusa dell'hotel, ci ha preso un'altra ora per trovare la ricezione, quindi automaticamente è stato un brutto inizio, La ricezione è stata accolta da un bel ragazzo che ci ha fatto visitare immediatamente e ci ha aiutati a raggiungere la nostra stanza. La stanza era pulita e spaziosa, abbiamo una camera principale, una bella vista dal balcone. Inizialmente ho chiesto una camera a basso livello, ma non c'era nessuna, ma mi è stata lasciata una bella lettera che spiegava la situazione, così sono rimasto nella stanza data come non dare all'hotel l'ansia di spostarci, ma la lettera era un contatto molto personale. Il colazione è un pranzo tradizionale turco, con una scelta di uova dopo, molto bel colazione con delizioso succo di limone. La piscina era tranquilla e rilassante, molto facile trovare un letto solare, il ragazzo che si siede nella piscina andrà a prendere le bevande, cibo ecc Lasciato presto la mattina per tornare a casa e l'hotel ci ha fatto gentilmente sandwich per i nostri viaggi Grazie Topset per un piacevole soggiorno rilassante :)

Si trova nella migliore strada di Nicosia, Dereboyu. Hai tutti gli negozi che hai bisogno vicino a te.Le camere sono così pulite e il personale è così gentile.Io ti succhio questo hotel perché se ti fermi in questo hotel non hai bisogno di prendere un taxi, il bus fermo è vicino a te o se ti piace camminare perché i migliori ristoranti e Le negozi sono vicine e non c'è bisogno di andarsene dall'hotel. Spero che tu venga e abbia una buona esperienza come me in questo hotel.

Pros - Location - Spa - Roof top pool - Food Hotel within easy distance to harbour, bars,shops, and local transport. Rooms spacious and very clean. Cons - busy road opposite two petrol stations and traffic heavy all day. Staff on reception not helpful or accommodating. There is no air conditioning and our room on arrival at midnight was 26.5°. We couldn't believe it and had to insist on two fans that we left on permanently all night and the day when we were in the room. Some of the electric sockets and plugs had loose wiring so we had to keep reporting faults. Our main complaint was the heavy smell of petrol that we assumed came from the petrol station. When we phoned reception to request a move to another room we were told there were no more twin bedded rooms available but for what is classified as a five star hotel, I'm sure they could have accommodated us. The stench was overwhelming. Finally after calling in one of the cleaners she indicated it wasn't the petrol stations but the drain in the shower that she would clean out. That evening on returning to the room, the smell had gone. However next morning it started to seep in again. We called in another cleaner and pointed out the stench and showed her the sockets that didn't work. She said leave it to me and that night everything was fixed but we only had two nights left of our holiday. The cleaner's name was Hava and I would like to commend her to the hotel management. Our conversation was done though my translation app and sign language. In spite of everything we enjoyed our stay as the pros outweighed the cons. Would not stay at this hotel again until it is modernised. The summer months must be unbearable.
