Manej Urla

I've been looking forward to going on a culinary adventure in the Urla region of Turkey. Famous for it's wineries and restaurants, Urla has something for everyone. At the top of my list was Manej Urla. It is easily one of the best farms you'll ever visit. Everything was perfect. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. I had a traditional Aegean Salad and Well done steak served with Kebab, Roast Potatoes and Acini Di Pepe in butter sauce. In addition, there are several vineyards & restaurants close to the farm should you be interested in wine tasting. It is a place I highly recommend & plan on visiting again soon.

This family run hotel is set in the forest - lovely grounds, we felt very much at home. The staff were very accommodating and friendly - great breakfast, and a log fire. The rooms look onto the stables where the horses are used to visitors stroking them, the grooms were quite happy for us to be there. The children we saw riding were kitted out in safety vests and riding hats, and all those who rode had a great experience. Red wine and cheese plate is recommended and they have great coffee!

The location is very nice. The journey is a bit tough so on the way back a cool headed driver is essential or staying for the night might be an option. The dining garden was very nice. The cats and dogs are friendly but not obstrusive. We tried many things some of them average, some of them not good and some are very good. We had okra with a local cheese bed, shiitake mushrooms grilled, pastry with eggplant, kokorec (lamb intestines) and greek style zucchini and turkish sweets wrapped and fried were the highlights. The rest is average. Our waiter mr. Atila was very good. The choices of wine is also very good by the glass.

Doğayla iç içe çok keyifli bir yer ancak yemekler ve servis çok zayıf . Menüde ki birçok şeye Şuan elimizde malzeme yok cevabı alıyorsunuz . Gelen yemeklerde pişmemiş ya da lezzetsiz . Kokteyller için de aynı şeyler geçerli malzeme yok , olan malzemeyle yapılan da lezzetsiz . Bekletimin çok altında kaldı. Odalar temiz fakat çok küçük . 3 gecelik ödeme yaptık , 2. Günün sonunda çıkış yapmamızı istediler . Yazışmaları tutmamış olsaydık , hak iddia edemeyecektik . Tam anlamıyla kötü bir deneyim yaşadık

Oldugu yer, konum, tabiat muhteshem. Insanin huzur buldugu, ruhunun dinlendigi bir yer. Binicilik de var, gezinmek icin buyuk alani da. Yemekleri chok guzel, leziz, fine dining. Her shey dogal, kendi bahchelerinden. Menyudaki chok sheyi denedik ve chok begendik. Bu kadar guzel bir shey yaptiklari icin tesekkur ederiz.

Eşim, çocuklarım ve arkadaşlarımızla akşam yemeği için yaklaşık bir hafta önce rezervasyon yaptırttık. Bu akşam gittiğimizde korkunç kötü bir servisle karşılaştık, tecrübesiz ve bilgisiz garsonlar hizmet ediyordu. İstediğimiz hiç bir yemeği yiyemedik, ne istediysek kalmadığı cevabını aldık. Tesise yazık olmuş, yaptığı isme kesinlikle yakışmayan , adım bile atılmaması gereken bir yer. Aç kalarak kalktık, çıkıp başka bir yerde yemek temek mecburiyetinde kaldık.
