Hotel a Kundasang

"My room had a beautiful and relaxing view. Every morning, I woke up to the stunning sight of Mount Kinabalu right outside the window. The place is very child-friendly, with safe and fun areas for kids to play. It’s perfect for a family getaway, as everything is well-suited for both adults and children. The surrounding scenery is peaceful and green, making the whole stay feel calm and refreshing. The cool weather added to the comfort, making it a really enjoyable trip. And for sure, the staff were very kind and helpful, which made the experience even better."

"Amenities in the room, such as hair dryer, iron, ironing board, kettle, cups, 3 in 1 coffee, tea, drinking water, towels, conditioning shampoo, shower gel and prayer mat for Muslims are available. There is no dental care kit, so bring your own. Otherwise, you'll have to drive a bit to buy one. It was my third time in Kundasang, so we rented a car and drove to the location. The road to the location is quite challenging if you're not used to the rural road. There are plenty of parking spaces there. I also saw guests with private tour guides who drove them around. I think that's a good idea, too. I booked the room with the mountain view, but the weather was not on my side. The mountain was in view very early in the morning when it was still dark, and then it was covered in clouds for the rest of the day. There is no aircon but a cute ceiling fan we didn't use because it was already cold. However, I wish I could open the windows without letting the bugs in. There were huge spiders making their webs near my window, and I dare not open it. The beds are okay - not the comfiest and only one rather flat pillow for our heads. We slept well nonetheless. We spent most of our time outside the room unless it's to shower or sleep. There's a cafe where we took our dinner to the outside dining area. The tables and chairs were scattered around so we had to arrange them ourselves. There is hot water, but at around 7am, the shower runs cold even with the water heater turned on. Could it be that everyone is showering at the same time? A simple breakfast is served at the cafe for the guests. When I was there, they had fried mi hun, French toast, sausages, baked beans, and eggs. There were two types of cereal. A bread station where you can toast your bread. Only white bread was available. Drinks were orange cordial, coffee, and tea. They replenish the food if finished, so don't worry about getting to the breakfast a bit late. The best thing about the whole trip was the booking, checking in, and checking out was hassle-free. Also, if you love flowers, walk around the place and admire their hydrangeas."

"Ho soggiornato in villa 3 camere da letto ( 6 adulti ) prima di questa settimana. (Luglio 2025) Quello che mi piaceva sul resort: 1: è una nuova proprietà, aperta solo a febbraio, quindi i mobili sono molto nuovi. Ha un look moderno. Le camere sono grandi e spaziose e ogni camera ha una doccia in camera e un bagno separato. Era anche molto pulito. È davvero un soggiorno di lusso ma per gli effetti del sole caldo pomeriggio all'interno della villa in pomeriggio, perché non c'è aria condizionata 2: bellissimo ambiente, si possono ottenere grandi foto di Mt KK da questo resort. 3: il personale è stato molto veloce e gentile a rispondere/ partecipare alle nostre domande/ domande che abbiamo avuto Quali miglioramenti si possono apportare: 1: Quando il sole del pomeriggio colpisce il fronte della villa, diventa molto caldo all'interno, perché ci sono solo tende sottili sulla facciata anteriore. Anche se il fan è pieno di esplosione e le finestre sono aperte e la porta anteriore è ancora molto calda. Le 2 camere da letto sul pavimento (come si fa il retro è ok) ma la 3a camera sul piano superiore è davvero come una sauna, come tutti i aria calda trappolata si alza e ci sono un sacco di vetro pannello davanti alla villa. Così tende o ciechi di spessore nero aiuteranno. Aircon è la camera superiore, perché la persona ne ha bisogno solo per poche ore dopo l'aprile. 2: Anche il lato della sala e cucina dove ci sono finestre, non ci sono ciechi o cortine, così la notte con le luci, tutti possono vedere nella vostra sala e cucina cucina. 3: Tutte le istruzioni per l'uso della TV e della scatola TV, nonché delle docce per acqua calda, sono in Mandarin.Un manuale in inglese sarebbe più utile per i futuri clienti. 4: Spero davvero che il caffè/restaurante comincerà a funzionare presto, perché questo renderà molto più facile per gli ospiti avere il loro pasto qui senza dover andare fuori."

"Our stay here was absolutely magical! The weather was perfect—chilly and pleasant, with a nice breeze. Since we’re used to hot weather, it was like a dream come true. The reception area was huge and right next to it was a great restaurant that served delicious Nasi Goreng. There were plenty of parking spaces, and the resort itself was clean and well-maintained. The view was incredible! From our room on the Kinabalu Wing, we could see the majestic Mount Kinabalu. It was breathtaking! Just a heads up, the dirt and stone road leading to the resort is about 2.2 km long, and if you’re not used to it, it might be a bit bumpy. If you’re coming here for the first time, it’s best to arrive before dark. I’m definitely going back here again! Maybe next time, I’ll have a barbecue under the stars of Kinabalu. That would be epic!"

"Stai qui per una notte. La posizione è un po' lontana perché non puoi vedere il monte Kinabalu da nessuna parte, ma si troverai circondato da alberi di pino, che è anche un punto da aggiungere. Potresti sentire i venti di notte, un po' spaventoso, ma anche sereno allo stesso tempo. Non mi sarebbe stato disturbato da niente, tranne la rete. Era così lento durante il mio soggiorno, anche se forniscono il wifi. Qual è il punto che collega il wifi se non puoi usarlo comunque? La nostra rete telefonica non ha funzionato neanche, purtroppo. E' una grande preoccupazione perché la gente vorrebbe scrivere, chiamare le loro famiglie e amici oltre ad aggiornare i social media e a fare ricerca per attrazioni, ecc. Se il team di gestione potesse scoprire questo e lavorare per un migliore miglioramento su questo tema, sarebbe molto e più piacevole rimanere."

"È un posto magico, fiabesco. Si trova in posizione davvero remota per cui è difficile trovare un trasporto nel caso in cui non si abbia la propria auto. Nonostante ciò, una volta arrivati (faticosamente trovato un taxi tramite grab da Kota Kinabalu) Mr Lee si prende cura di tutti gli spostamenti con una puntualità estrema, cortesia e professionalità. Tutti i pasti si consumano nel ristorante di una struttura che si trova a 10 min.(fattibili anche a piedi nel caso...) l'unica che dispone di ristorante nelle vicinanze. I prezzi sono super onesti e la qualità è buona.. La colazione compresa nel prezzo della camera è fissa (asiatica oppure americana), basica ma ok. Mr. Lee provvede a tutti i passaggi. Le stanze/cottages sebbene necessitino di manutenzione sono ben strutturate con un design interessante per nulla casuale. La vista dal giardino del Mt. Kinabalu è magnifica. Non c'è a/c ma l'aria è fresca e c'è un ventilatore. Nessun problema con insetti Le uniche finestrelle apribili hanno una buona zanzariera. Di notte il silenzio è assoluto. I letti sono comodi."
