Kudadoo Maldives Private Island – Luxury All Inclusive

We have already visited Kudadoo 3 times and would definitely like to come back. We have also visited many other luxury resorts and I dare say that Kudadoo is at the top of the TOP resorts in the Maldives. The concept of this resort is very unique - anything - anytime - everywhere, you won't find such a concept anywhere else. Kudadoo has only 15 water villas and no beach villas. It's not for beach villa lovers, but we don't mind because we prefer water villas and they provide more privacy for guests. It is not an island that has the prettiest lagoon or the prettiest beaches, although you can definitely find beautiful places with a nice beach and ocean view. Also here in 2024, breakwaters were added around the beaches, which may bother some people - on the other hand, it is a mini island and erosion is a problem for all resorts, and even more so for these small islands, so the installation of breakwaters is understandable. However, this resort is all about its service and making you feel like a VIP guest. The price of this resort includes everything - great quality wines, cocktails, perfect gastro - isn't foie grass on the menu? No problem, we'll get it! And they really get everything when it's in their power. Also included in the price are massages, private diving, a trip to the sandbank, a trip to look for manta rays, a trip on jet skis and other activities that are normally charged at other resorts. Excursions and the daily schedule must be planned in advance, but if you want to change the plans, you can, you just need to do it in time, because there are other guests in the resort who also have a planned schedule and there may not always be a place when you want. That's why I recommend that you think about all the activities you want to try before arriving at the resort and plan them in advance, and feel free to write this schedule in advance to your butler, who will enter everything into the system. Villas: they are very well designed, have a modern design and are very cozy. The entrance from the villas is directly on the reef. Snorkeling: you can snorkel around the whole island and the reef is very nice. There are a lot of beautiful corals, anemones and you will also meet sharks, rays, lionfish, a school of fish or a turtle. Food: generally great. If you don't find something you want on the menu, they will try to prepare a meal for you on request. Something could probably be improved - for example, the food at Raffles or Milaidhoo tasted a little better to me. But it's more about taste preferences, because the food is of high quality and always fresh. However, even this resort has its faults - FLIES from the neighboring island Felivaru, where is fish processing factory. When there is no wind, there are flies everywhere in the villa, in the restaurant, and it is really very annoying. It would certainly be necessary to install some fly repellents in villas and restaurants - cinnamon as an air freshener or some lavender, eucalyptus, pepper

Kudadoo resort is one of, if not the best resort i have ever stayed in. The architecture and sustainability factor being off grid run by solar is incredible. The staff are simply amazing. We had Saeed as our butler and he is just incredible at his job. Always making sure our stay is perfect, sorting everything out and running the show. The food is simply insane. The choices, style, plating and taste of the food is out of this world. The rooms are extremely well designed, private and everything is thought of. Its a place you could stay for weeks and never want to leave. Shameen the lodge manager is such a kind amazing person. He always has a smile on his face and you can see why Kudadoo shines the way it does. A must do is a wine tasting with Elias! So knowledgable and the best wine tasting We have ever had. Never wanted it to end. Again thank you Shameem, Saeed, The team and Kudadoo for a once in a lifetime stay. Cant say or recommend this place enough! Magical!!!

I have never spent so much per night and felt so much value. It all starts with your butler, in our case Naajy, WhatsApping several weeks before our arrival and getting to know our wishes for our vacation at Kudadoo. The personalized experience only got better as we arrived and throughout our 4 days. We were met at Male airport and shepherded along the way never being left alone until we entered our spectacular overwater bungalow. No checkin necessary, Naajy took care of all arrangements. After a brief tour of the wine and cheese cellars, the cheese rivals any French restaurant, we sat outside our residence and enjoyed some handpicked cheese, charcuterie, and premier cru Chablis followed by some Sushi as we settled in. After a short rest we headed to the spa for the first of many amazing massages and other spa treatments. I should also mention that the sea plane ride was smooth, and we were picked up by speedboat at the neighboring island Kuredo and whisked back to Kudadoo in less than 10 minutes. After a short rest we proceeded to dinner and met our waiters Abdullah, Richy, and David. All were so attentive as well as the wine steward. The menu is vast but every item we ordered throughout our stay was cooked to perfection. We were excited to meet Harshal, executive chef, and we’re fortunate to spend time in his kitchen as he gave us cooking lessons. He cooked amazing Waygu steak and Australian rack of lamb one night and the next night he cooked the best tempura Prawns. We videoed his demo and will hope to replicate at home. We had so much fun on the Jet skis, thank you Ali, especially Jetskiing home from lunch at neighboring Hurwalhi island. The lunch there was also fabulous, enjoyed a nice Rose with lunch. We were warmly greeted there by Mr. Baha, the GM. I could go on and on but what one should know is that the Anywhere , Anytime, Anyplace line is true. This is not your typical all-inclusive, this is all-inclusive on steroids. If you are reading this review you are probably considering several of the high end resorts in the Maldives, some with famous hotel chain names associated with them. There is no other resort like this one. 15 rooms with the AAA concept, Kudadoo is unlike any other. Thanks again to all at Kudadoo that provided a lifetime experience for my wife and me. Kudadoo is a tiny island, perfect for a private and secluded getaway, with your partner, for a honeymoon or, like in my case, to spend quality time with my mum. And yes, Kudadoo is the picture perfect resort of the Maldives with all the “must haves” anyone would ask for: powdery cream colored sand, shades of blue that go from turquoise to deep navy, a gorgeous coral reef to snorkel with your butler if you are alone (yes, you read correctly, your own private butler will go snorkeling with you if you wish to... I did and it was the most amazing experience I had there), multiple “instagrammable” locations (guests can also access the sister property Hurawalhi and dine there in various restaurants, the underwater 5.8 one of the most spectacular underwater restaurant in the world), exquisitely decorated villas, where every tiny detail you could think of is there for your comfort, as Team Kudadoo is already way ahead of you (think reef safe sunscreen, slippers and beach thongs, mosquito repellent which you will never use, even a pencil case and drawing paper if you feel inspired), a gorgeous infinity pool overlooking the sea, where you will spot dolphins, turtles and sharks, and the occasional eagle ray, a small but perfectly spacious spa, where you can have a candlelight bath overlooking the sea, and a beautiful Bar in orange and golden hues that will melt with the colors of the sunset, as if they were only one… but one extremely important thing and precisely what makes a very big difference about Kudadoo is that it’s fully eco friendly and sustainable, with 928 solar panels on the roof of their main building (The Retreat), which makes it completely functional only with solar power, with no need to use fuel, and they desalinate the sea water to produce their own still and sparkling water, therefore contributing to the carbon footprint and welfare of the environment and ecosystem. Every little detail is thought off, like the information panel for guests to learn about tides, sunrise and sunset timing, energy produced and energy saved, etc. They have many buggies to take you around the island if you don’t feel like walking, and they will have your name engraved on a wooden panel (for you to bring back home) in one of them when you first arrive at the resort. They will always provide sunscreen and toiletries whenever you are at the pool, leave snacks at your villa with the turndown service, many unexpected things that makes you fall in love with the whole concept of the resort: AAA (anything, anywhere, anytime) is a truly impressive experience.

Kudadoo was one of the most special and incredible places we have ever stayed. The staff is so friendly and attentive. Our butler Hussain took care of our every need, personalizing our itinerary and making edits on the fly. We took advantage of so many fun excursions and activities, ate so many delicious meals, and spent time relaxing by our pool. We can't speak highly enough about our experience. The food was some of the best we have ever had, from the oysters to the sashimi; the quality was exquisite. One of us has Celiac and must eat gluten-free, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. They made practically anything on the menu gluten-free, from the fish and chips to the zucchini corn fritters. Our favorites were the soft-shell crab burger, the oysters, salmon sashimi, and the blackened reef fish. Also, the 5.8 restaurant is definitely worth the additional cost. Eating under the ocean surface was awesome. We saw so many different types of fish, and even saw an eagle ray and a few sharks! We suggest doing it for dinner, so you get the full spectrum of marine life as the sun sets. As for experiences, take advantage of everything. At least one of us got a massage each day we were there. We loved the watersports, from Jetboarding to SeaBobbing and Jet Skiing. We had some lovely meals, from breakfast floating in the pool to dinner in the sand under the stars. We took such fun workout classes with Channa, like water aerobics in our pool and gym training sessions. We also had a fun 30-minute professional photo shoot, which was included in our stay. We truly had the experience of a lifetime and absolutely recommend staying at Kudadoo!
