Lilienberg

Lilienberg is a gorgeous hotel in northern Switzerland. Set on a picturesque lake, the hotel maintains an elegant old-world charm while providing all the modern creature comforts. Rooms are elegantly appointed, clean, and spacious, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. The food is fresh and delicious, and owners Andi and Bernadette go out of their way to ensure all guests feel comfortable and welcome. During our four-day stay, we enjoyed barre classes on-site, hiked a gorgeous mountain, visited a local winery, walked beautiful gardens in Germany, and shopped and dined in Zurich. Lilienberg is magic.

What a wonderful place. Beautiful buildings, gardens and setting on Lake Constanz, Ermatingen. Close to the train if you want to go downtown Zurich or Constantz, Germany Excellent food and service. Immaculate rooms and grounds. The hosts were amazing! Such a delight!

Lilienberg offers a lovely and serene place to relax or use as a springboard for travel and activities. The facility is intelligently designed and maximizes the views of the beautifully manicured grounds and the lake. The food was outstanding. All of the produce and fish were fresh as could be. The service was welcoming and attentive. A very special place to visit .

My wife and I are from the US and stayed at Lilienberg for three nights in mid-September. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend a stay here. We had a bright room looking out over the lake. The room was extremely clean (as was everything at Lilienberg) and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! We ate breakfast at the hotel each morning. The buffet had many high-quality options — eggs, fruit, meat and cheeses — as well as an excellent coffee machine. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant one night and had an excellent meal —- fresh local fish and vegetables and Swiss wine. Highly recommend eating on the outdoor patio. We ate at local restaurants the other two nights (walking distance) and enjoyed those as well. The grounds of the hotel were magnificent — well-manicured and extremely clean. Although we did not use the indoor pool, it looked beautiful. The hotel staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. While we were at the hotel on a personal trip, we saw some of the conference facilities — all looked state-of-the-art and well-maintained. Lilienberg also offered a good jumping-off point to view the area — we went to Stein am Rhein and Säntis by car. We look forward to coming back to the area and staying at Lilienberg.

Im August haben wir zwei Nächte im Hotel Lilienberg Ermatinhen verbracht. Ein sehr schön eingerichtetes Hotel. Die Zimmer waren modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Ich habe das Gefühl, sie sind frisch renoviert. Badezimmer hatte eine übergroße Dusche, was sehr angenehm und bequem war. Wir haben einen Obstkorb auf dem Zimmer geschenkt bekommen. Im Kühlschrank hatten wir eine Cola und eine kleine Flasche Bier. Jeden Tag zwei Flaschen Wasser bereitgestellt bekommen. Unser Zimmer befand sich im Erdgeschoss und verfügte über eine kleine Terrasse. Mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht in den Garten und sogar auf den See. Allerdings fand ich es nicht sehr angenehm, dass die Terrassen von den Nachbarterrassen nicht sichtlich abgetrennt waren. So saßen wir, gefüllt mit unseren Zimmernachbarn zusammen draußen. Ich hätte gerne mehr Privatsphäre. Das könnte man durch Kletterpflanzen erreichen. Außerdem verfügt das Hotel über ein wunderschönes Hallenbad mit Whirlpool. Das Wasser im Hallenbad hat angenehme 30° der Whirlpool 33. Nach unseren langen Wanderung war es ein Genuss, uns im Whirlpool zu entspannen. Besonders möchte ich das Frühstück hervorheben. Es war sehr sehr lecker und gut von dem Koch zubereitet. Eine große Auswahl. Es gab jeden Morgen ein Orangensaft mit Ingwer und Kurkuma. Außerdem zwei verschiedene Smoothies zur Auswahl. Leckeres Rührei und natürlich Käseplatte, Wurstplatte, Obst und Gemüse geschnitten. Hier muss ich erwähnen, dass die Auswahl sehr groß war. Es gab auch Croissants und kleine Küchle zum Kaffee. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten am ersten Morgen draußen auf der Terrasse mit der Seeblick frühstücken. Am zweiten Tag haben wir im Restaurant gegessen.Dieses ist wunderschön eingerichtet. Die Gartenanlage ist sehr groß ungepflegt. Mit vielen verschiedenen Pflanzen und Blumen. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel verfügt über eine Tiefgarage, wo jeder Gast einen Stellplatz bekommt. Außerdem hat man die Möglichkeit, ein Elektrofahrrad kostenlos auszuleihen.
