Hotel vicini a Campo di concentramento di Auschwitz a Cracovia

I booked this hotel mainly for convenience to get to Auschwitz for a 9.30am tour, but I also wanted to treat myself to the superior double room & the spa the evening before. Firstly, there were 2 single beds rather than a double (see photo) and they said sometimes in Poland a ”double” refers to 2 singles. It's misleading and I find it odd they're not more clear, especially as they must've had similar complaints about this before, so beware! Secondly, I went down to the spa to spend time in the sauna and jacuzzi but the area was drafty because the door to a strange patio area was open. I think this is where the outdoor pool normally is but there was nothing there but a couple of chairs and an umbrella, so this was another let down. Thirdly, and the worst thing of all, was the breakfast. Awful all round, I've only ever had as bad a breakfast once before and that was in a Travelodge. The coffee was bland, the choice of food was limited, a lot of the spread was cheaply presented and nothing like the photos, so beware. Worst of all was the fruit which was rancid, literally. See my photo, it's quite unbelievable. Also, rather disappointingly, I was looking forward to having a pint in the cellar bar but I discovered it was only open certain evenings, I was gutted, nothing seemed to be going right here. The only reason I gave this 2 star rather than 1 was because of the dinner. I had purchased it as part of a package with the room and had it in a restaurant attached to the hotel. After reading the menu for a while the waitress told me I needed another menu for the package deal so of course I was suspicious. I've taken a photo of this menu as you should be aware the choice is limited. I ordered the zur, dumplings & tiramisu. For all I know it was all defrosted but to be fair it tasted really good, so this was a saving grace. Anyway, please beware of my points, its not a great hotel but it is just a 5-10 minute taxi ride to Auschwitz (1) so it is convenient, though there will be closer smaller hotels or B&B's that are a closer walking distance I'm sure. I have been totally transparent with this review and often I wish hotels could do the same, please don't be surprised if your stay is not as good as you expected.

Fantastic hotel located in the very centre of the city. The rooms are large by European standards. The furnishings give the impression of being new and modern. This is because the hotel is only five years old. In a bathroom a full set of cosmetics. But not in small tubes of 20 ml, when the gel runs out. Everywhere is clean and it seems that the highest standards of hygiene are respected. A few steps to the main square, opposite the historic castle, many shops and fast food around. A 24-hour grocery shop with a huge selection at petrol station BP, only 4-5 minutes walk. The hotel is located by a river, where there are walking and relaxation areas. It is known that the atmosphere and quality is created by people. I was extremely warmly welcomed by a lady from reception. She was very friendly, offered all kinds of help and everything seemed very professional, even though I checked in after midnight. I had previously exchanged a few emails with Martyna, the front office manager, who resolved all my concerns regarding the very late check-in and selected a room that I was happy with. In addition, I was given advice on what to visit during my stay. I appreciated the sweet gift and the welcome letter. The rooms do not cost much per night, for such little money a really high quality is offered. I have been to Hiltons on 4 continents, but this Hampton is much better than many Hiltons, which is the flagship of the company.

I AND MY SON stayed there from 5 Feb to 8 Feb for 3 nights. Its a beautiful hotel, compact and homely. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is big and good. The kitchen is very well equipped with Microwave, Toaster, Fridge, Cooking Plate, Water heater, coffee maker etc and all types of utensils. You can cook and sit on the table and comfortably eat. It's a place I recommend 100%. YOU CAN PARK your car in the hotel premises so that's also very safe and secure. Most importantly it is walking distance to the Auschwitz 1 Camp. If you are staying there with the intention of visiting the camp, then as ypu step put of the 6th room gate, ypu find a huge park bang opp...just walk through and at the end of the connecting road turn left and in a few minutes you will be at the Auschwitz entrance. First day, we made a mistake and turned to left from the 7th room entrance, but then we came to the backside of the Auschwitz camp which is only a staff entrance, and we had to walk another 1km to reach the entrance. Hence don't turn left. Thank you 7th Room....you made a most memorable and a wonderful destination, and 2 or 3 years later I will visit again and MOST CERTAINLY stay here! Aseem Varma

La parola ”quasi” fa differenza perché il mercato è più alto, mentre noi abbiamo avuto il silenzio nella stanza (esclusi i campanelli che sono sentiti in tutto il mercato e nelle sue circostanze ). Le colazioni sono molto buone. Anche altri piatti ordinati da noi erano buoni. Un grande luogo per visitare la città e il museo, sport, strutture commerciali e gastronomiche, che sono eccezionalmente numerose. Abbiamo ascoltato i concerti sul mercato il fine settimana del ciclo ”Bloody BB”. Eravamo in città per la prima volta e non credo che fosse l'ultima. A proposito, salutiamo il bel personale, la signora che ci ha curato per colazione, sempre sorrideva, la pulizia della nostra stanza e la signora che ci ha aiutati a uscire dal parcheggio.

Ten hotel posiada wszystko co dobry hotel powinien posiadać. Posiada miłą i uprzejmą obsługę, serwuje się pyszne śniadania, zapewnia rozrywkę (kręgle, bilard), pub oferuje różne fast foody, drinki, basen kryty, basen zewnętrzny, saunę, masaże. 20 m od budynku głównego znajduję się restauracja która zaspokoi oczekiwania wybrednych gości. Otoczenie hotelu jest bardzo ciekawe, znajduje się on na zalewem.

Molto buona qualità per il prezzo. Personale utile. Camere pulite. Hai tutto quello che ti serve per un piacevole soggiorno.

Il Park Hotel ha un bel parcheggio a disposizione (a pagamento pero') ed un altrettanto ottima colazione (sbilanciata sul salato e da pagare a parte) Ho provato anche il ristorante, piatti della cucina Polacca, ma devo dire, preparati con cura, il prezzo e' un po' piu' caro rispetto ai ristorantini dell'area pedonale. La camera e' abbastanza spaziosa, con bagno cieco; letto di dimensioni abbondanti, il pavimento datato con moquette d'epoca. Alla TV un solo canale in Italiano RAI1 ed una strana sovrabbondanza di canali in Tedesco ! L'hotel non e' lontano dal centro pedonale, ma neanche vicino, per andarci serve prendere la macchina. Personale gentile e con buona padronanza dell'inglese, nessun problema di comunicazione. [ENG] The Park Hotel has a nice parking area available (for a fee) and an equally excellent breakfast (unbalanced on the salty and to be paid separately) I also tried the restaurant, Polish cuisine, but I must say, prepared with care, the price is a bit more expensive than the restaurants in the pedestrian area. The room is quite spacious, with a blind bathroom; generously sized bed, dated floor with period carpet. On the TV only one channel in Italian RAI1 and a strange overabundance of channels in German! The hotel is not far from the pedestrian center, but not close either, to go there you need to take the car. Friendly staff with good command of English, no communication problems.

È la prima volta che soggiorno in questo grande Hotel e considero che è molto bello e organizzato.Considerando il periodo Covid per quanto riguarda i pasti vengono ricevuti nella propria stanza all'orario prefissato sul menù tutti coperti.La cordialità e l'esperienza si vede a occhio nudo molto gentili e disponibili per ogni evenienza,il personale ottimo e la pulizia pure.Si colloca proprio in centro dove di fronte rimane un centro commerciale,la prossima volta sicuramente soggiorno ancora qua visto la cortesia ed i piatti molto buoni complimenti a tutto il personale ottima scelta.
