What a wonderful property this is. If you want hussle, bustle and crowds this is not for you try Ao Nang. But if you want somewhere with peace, serenity and a wonderful experience this is where you should stay. I think there are about 8 rooms and 4 bungalows here and we were lucky enough to get a bungalow but we heard that the rooms were great too. Set in the gardens, a short walk (100 metres) from the pier and 200 metres from the Kayaking centre this is a place where you can chill out by the pool, read a book and just let the cares of the world leave you alone. There are some good restaurants and cafes within walking distance too and the resort also has a great breakfast menu with good healthy food, a wonderful way to start the day. Kanchana and Jonas are wonderful hosts who will do whatever they can to help you. A scooter or a rental car could turn this into a broader look at the region which is a wonderful experience. We stayed there for a month and enjoyed every moment of it.

We unexpectedly came upon this resort, when the accommodation we had booked cancelled our booking. Krabi Resort came to the rescue and we were given a bungalow for a month, despite it being high season. Bad fortune turned into good as this place is delightful. The rooms are spacious, the bed very comfortable and it’s got a porch where you can sit outside and watch the sunset. I used the pool every day for my morning aqua exercise, it’s well maintained and the water is clean and cool. Breakfast is extra, and you do need to pre-order, but it’s healthy and quite different from I’ve had elsewhere. Try the rice soup and also the healthy breakfast. There’s quite a lot to do in Tha Lane Bay and surrounds, just ask at reception and they will help ensure you know which activities will match your interests. All up, it was a great experience and I can’t thank Jonas and Kanchana enough for making our stay so special
