Six Senses Krabey Island is undoubtedly located in a breathtaking setting. From the moment we arrived, the beauty of the island and the warm, welcoming arrival experience set the tone for what could have been a perfect stay. The staff were attentive and made every effort to ensure we felt welcome. Our villa was a standout feature—stunningly designed, surrounded by lush forest for privacy while still offering beautiful sea views. It was thoughtfully equipped with high-quality toiletries, soft towels, luxurious bedding, and essential mosquito nets around the bed. The private plunge pool was always impeccably prepared, morning and night, ensuring everything was ready whenever we fancied a dip. Additionally, buggies were readily available to transport us around the resort whenever needed. The onsite dining offered good quality food with a variety of options. However, we were disappointed to find that one of the two restaurants was often closed during our stay. For a resort that charges over $1,000 per night, guests should have the opportunity to dine at either venue each evening. The mini-bar system was another letdown. The mini-bar was not stocked upon arrival, and we were required to order items via an iPad, phone, or WhatsApp communication with our butler. This system felt unnecessarily complicated, especially when we wanted wine for a romantic evening. Unfortunately, we encountered significant delays in getting our order fulfilled, which disrupted our plans. Another issue arose with check-out arrangements. On arrival, our butler presented multiple late check-out options, but she failed to mention the 50% surcharge that would apply for staying beyond the standard check-out time.
