Siamo un coppia e era la 3 eme volte che veniamo a layasan. Sappiamo bene questa esperienza immersiva nelle monache . Abbiamo già avuto un ottimo benvenuto prima dell’ora del Check in. Ci hanno messo le valigie e siamo andati al cimitero, e quando sono tornato alla fine della giornata, degli apprendisti monaci ci hanno accolti con un sorriso enorme e con un umore quasi. Ci hanno servito del tè e degli okakis (crackers) il tempo di fare il Check in. La camera era tradizionale, tatamis e futon con toaletta privativa Toto e lavabo. (Non è sempre privativo in un altro o le toalette sono comuni). Era bella e pulita. Un mini frigo. Une bottiglia d’acqua e del tè a disposizione con bollitore. La doccia e il bagno (sento), super pulita e calda, era super piacevole potersi bagnarsi in pace dopo una grande giornata. Nous sommes tatoués et n'avons pas vu de restrictions à ce sujet. D'ailleurs il n'y avait personne en même temps que moi ou mon fiancé donc c'est comme si c'était privé ! Mangiare alle 5:30 pm, vegetariano e delizioso mentre noi adoriamo la carne, ecco cosa succede. Servizio impeccabile. Ceremonia del mattino dove il mio fidanzato è andato, splendida esperienza come di solito e le monache erano a disposizione per le domande. Colazione alle 7:30 pm. Così buona come la sera! Prima di partire piacevole da dire nulla, ci rimettiamo con un super ricordo di questo posto. Si consiglia di Soji-inn.

Esperienza di alloggio particolarmente diversa. Circondato da monasteri ed essendo in un resort buddista, è maestoso. Nel tempio sono organizzate una serie di attività come la meditazione e il canto. Segui i monaci nel monastero per compiere atti buddisti all'ora prescritta. Il cibo è vegetariano, molto leggero e completo. La porta della stanza è sbloccata, ma c'è una cassaforte nella stanza. I bagni pubblici e i bagni pubblici sono abbastanza convenienti.

Dopo due ore di arrivare al tempio da Namba, è stato rinfrescante assorbire la pace e la tranquillità del luogo. Il luogo è solo un breve passo di sopra un po' di passeggiata dalla fermata dell'autobus dove siamo partiti. L’ispezione era regolare con una buona spiegazione sul luogo e sulle strutture. Il luogo era senza spot e si assicuravano che aiutando a pulire le ruote del nostro bagaglio. La stanza è di grande dimensione per quattro di noi in un ambiente tradizionale dormire su mattoni tatami. La mia camera è attaccata a un bagno, ma il bagno è un bagno condiviso, pulito e spazioso, e il pranzo e il colazione sono meravigliosi pasti vegetariani. Abbiamo anche avuto una grande esperienza con le preghiere mattinali che ci hanno anche insegnato un metodo di meditazione. Questo posto è a pochi passi dal centro della piccola città con ristoranti per pranzo. In generale, abbiamo avuto un soggiorno tranquillo qui, che è stato un buon viaggio dalla rabbia delle grandi città.

Prima di parlare di un buon posto: l'ambiente è buono, la temperatura è poca; il servizio è in posizione, le cose sono chiare e gentili, particolarmente amichevole; la posizione è vicino alla torre di fondo. Poi non è un buon posto: tutti i prezzi di guayuan sono molto elevati. Qui ci sono 1000 yuan per adulto e 700 yuan per bambini di età superiore a sei anni (non utilizzano letti esistenti per ridurre l'esenzione, 700 non portano cibo); non è economico; Le strutture sono oggettivamente limitate, con bagni pubblici e bagni, e sono molto piccole e molto inconvenienti.In generale, se non fosse per i occidentali curiosi di ”il potere misterioso dell'Est”, si consiglia di tornare dal grande giardino, non di scegliere il giardino. Oltre a non avere difetti, fornire attività di esperienza, i due pasti sono anche molto delicati, il servizio è anche molto intimo, il trasporto è anche conveniente, il bus è arrivato, ma la montagna di Goo Jiang è troppo lontana.In sintesi, è molto consigliabile!

The temple is beautiful, and the room is super nice and spacious. There is also a beautiful garden. I was expecting some additional amenities and/or interactions with the monks to have a better experience, but there is nothing related to this. I have the impression there are temples around the area that are much better on this regards and this could contribute a lot to the overall experience. If you want to have dinner and/or breakfast please make reservation at least one day before check-in and make sure this is accepted by the property, otherwise you won’t be able to have dinner/breakfast if you request this during check-in. The morning ceremony was ok, but there is no minimum explanation at the beginning or end (at least in English) which could have been nice. Also, the room is extremely cold, so make sure you bring enough clothes to it. The onsen is a nice addition but nothing spectacular. Overall, it is ok but it could be improved a lot. There are some lessons you can take part of, but I joined the cemetery tour organized by another temple, so I don’t know if they were good. I have the impression that in Eko-in temple they were giving the guests more services as meditation sessions and this tour and additional explanations in English. Curfew is at 9 pm.

Il monte Koya è stato dichiarato patrimonio mondiale dell’UNESCO nel 2004 ed è conosciuto come uno dei luoghi più sacri del Giappone.È raggiungibile con la Nanki Dentetsu Railway: dalla stazione Namba sono 2 ore fino alla stazione Koyasan, poi occorre prendere il bus per Jimyo-in.Originariamente erano stanze adibite alla sistemazione dei monaci buddisti e degli aspiranti monaci ma adesso sono aperte anche ai turisti per cui sono dotate di telefono, TV, cassaforte e mettono a disposizione pigiama (yukata), spazzolino e asciugamani.L’atmosfera buddista regna in tutta la struttura perchè il tempio è in funzione e l’ospitalità è offerta da monaci e staff.È immerso in un magnifico giardino creato dal designer di giardini Mori Osamu ed offre 54 camere, che sono prive di bagni privati. Anche per quanto riguarda la ristorazione si segue la tradizione buddista, per cui si tratta di cucina vegetariana.

Desidero Koyasan Shukubo da molto tempo. L'ho prenotato con tre mesi di anticipo e solo il Grand Courtyard aveva una stanza. La stanza è al secondo piano. È pulita e spaziosa e ha un leggero profumo di tatami. Tuttavia, i servizi igienici e la doccia sono in comune. La doccia deve essere al piano di sotto e gli usi sono limitati. Un giorno o due sono accettabili, ma molto tempo no. La colazione e la cena sono incluse nella tariffa della camera e sono tutti pasti vegetariani, leggeri, deliziosi e sazianti. Il tempio Daien-in è considerato un piccolo tempio sul monte Koya. Non c'è il tempio Okuno-in per le visite notturne. Devo fissare un appuntamento al tempio Eiko-in. Ho visto che sono state introdotte la copiatura e la meditazione dei sutra menzionate su Internet alla reception ma quando ho chiesto mi hanno detto che non ce l'avevano, non so perché. Il monaco in genere non ha molta pazienza con l'inglese. Quando ha fatto il check-out, mi ha visto portare una grande scatola giù per le scale ed è rimasto indifferente... Huiguangyuan è molto meglio in questo senso. Anche se non vivo lì , prenderà l'iniziativa di chiedermi quando voglio fissare un appuntamento per una visita. Consiglio vivamente il tour notturno del progetto Okunoin di Eikoin, la spiegazione è fantastica! Pieno di esperienza!

Molte montagne di Gobishi sono in tutto il giardino di luce come il mio nome di cantiere, quindi l'ho scelto. Anche se sono un Toyota, sono ancora una grande esperienza, da casa a cure eccellenti, poi alla lezione mattina, una grande esperienza. Anche se ho incontrato il cattivo tempo, il flusso di terra e sono stato fermato sulla montagna. Ho deciso di scendere sulla montagna alla stazione ferroviaria più recente, (anche se non c'è autobus) Ho speso più di 4000 yen e i ragazzi giapponesi per tornare a Grandi Teppisti, ma l'intera gita di Gao Wu Mountain, compresa l'esperienza di tutto il giardino di luce, è ancora fantastica. La prossima volta!Ho ancora ㄧ 😙 😙 ㄧ 😙

Abbiamo soggiornato per una notte in questo monastero sul monte Koya. Il soggiorno costa, i monaci non lo regalano ma ci può stare perché l’esperienza merita. Abbiamo seguito alle 13 la cerimonia del fuoco e poi la preghiera del mattino, tutto molto bello ed affascinante con i loro canti e le loro atmosfere. La stanza era tipica giapponese con il futon, dotata di stufetta elettrica. La colazione e la cena erano su base vegetariana, tipicamente giapponese. A me non è piaciuta ovviamente ma non mi lamento perché lo sapevo che sarei andato incontro a questo…del resto siamo in monastero

We stayed here in Oct 2018 for 1 night with a friend, we wanted to experience staying at a Buddhist temple and a short stop at Koya-san provided this opportunity. We stayed in a Japanese style room which was great, the room opened to an inner courtyard/garden. Vegetarian Japanese dinner and breakfast was included and it was a beautiful feast, more filling than what I expected. Check-in is between 3pm-5pm but as early arrivals we could leave our bags in the office/lobby. Check-out was at 10am and again they kindly stored our luggage for us until we had to leave. The ryokan is in a central location which was important to us because we could easily walk to all the sights in town. Dinner was at 5:30pm, breakfast at 7am, there was an evening curfew at 10pm and the Buddhist ceremony in the morning was at 5:50. Staying here was not a cheap option but the whole experience was just fantastic, we really got value for our money. I highly recommend this temple and would stay here again.

Dopo aver prenotato una camera con bagno, un monaco ci ha portato in una stanza semi-sotterranea, faceva molto freddo e ci ha mostrato la doccia e il bagno nel corridoio. Gli abbiamo detto che pagavamo di più per prenotare una stanza con bagno e lui ci ha portato a trovare un vecchio monaco, ma se non ci sbagliavamo nessuna delle loro stanze aveva il bagno. Ovviamente ho speso altri centinaia solo per avere il bagno in camera, e sull'ordine era scritto chiaramente, mi ha chiesto di contattare Ctrip a sue spese, e lui ha contattato anche l'agente, ci ho messo circa un'ora e mezza per capire questo. Ci ha riportato nella stanza originale e ha aperto la porta chiusa a chiave (all'inizio gli abbiamo chiesto cosa fosse quella piccola porta e lui ha detto che era una stanza di manutenzione). C'era una toilette sporca e un lavandino che non poteva essere più piccolo. Comunque non ci sono hotel sul monte Koya. Se vuoi restare, c'è uno shukubo nel tempio. Sono costosi e hanno pessime condizioni, quindi pensaci due volte.

Abbiamo fatto il nostro viaggio a Koyasan con il nostro piccolo gruppo di 5 più il nostro guida, attraverso un lago di treni, stazioni e piattaforme occupate, un furnicolo sulla montagna e infine un autobus al nostro soggiorno nel tempio. C'erano ancora alcuni alberi di ciliegia che fioriscono, così bellissima.Il tempio era attraente e confortevole (se si conta dormire sul pavimento, seduto sul pavimento per un pasto confortevole!). La nostra stanza era riscaldata, ma il resto del tempio non era così freddo camminare fino al cibo e alla sala da pranzo.La nostra stanza aveva il futon, le mutandine (molto incomodo), una tavola bassa, una piccola TV, wifi, spazio aperto. Il nostro pasto e colazione sono stati tradizionali vegetariani e interessanti. Compriamo sake per un prezzo molto ragionevole con il pasto. Anche la birra era disponibile. Il cimitero di Okunoin è stato un'esperienza culturale buona (e anche migliore perché ero da solo!) Il nostro alloggio era molto vicino al cimitero di Okunoin che è assolutamente necessario vedere.

Siamo stati una notte. L'esterno è bellissimo e la posizione è buona. L'autobus n. 18 è appena fuori dal tempio. La stanza era molto grande, ma non molto confortevole. Abbiamo saltato la cena e la colazione e abbiamo trovato facilmente buoni posti dove mangiare fuori. C'è un Family Mart appena fuori dal tempio. Le preghiere del mattino sarebbero più interessanti e significative se potessero essere tradotte in inglese.

C'è più di 900 anni di storia nel cortile.Molte stanze povere.Le strutture della stanza sono più semplici, la biancheria pubblica, la cena sarà inviata alla stanza per uso personale e deliziosa.La stanza invernale è calda. C'è un bel giardino nella corte. Non è così bello vedere il paesaggio della stanza davanti al giardino in un piano, ma ci troviamo al secondo piano.Inaspettatamente, sopra la fine di un tunnel nel tempio, vediamo il lavoro lasciato dal presidente del tempio di Liu Xiang quando ha partecipato alla festa di 1150 anniversario del giorno dal 1985.

There are many shokubos in Koyasan. If you don't understand Japanese, you could book through one through the shokubo association and they will just randomly assign one to you or one of those travel hotel websites (with limited selections). I stumbled upon Komyo-in website which has an OK english translation page and let me book direct. Most of the reviews are on google and i think it deserves one here. Communication: Mostly through google translate and it worked fine. The hospitality was great. Everything was well organised. Nothing was too much of a hassle. I stayed here for 2 nights. I wanted to do the cemetery night tour and the monk told me that he would wait for me and not lock the door if i returned pass the curfew hrs (9pm). I didn't think it would be a problem but they didn't want me to worry. Location: The temple is located just behind the Eko-in, where the night tour starts. It is also located near the bus-stop if you are coming from the koyasan cable station. Food: I ordered the breakfast and dinner on both nights. There were delicious and adequate for a standard portion. They have the larger portion selection. Room: Spacious as a solo traveler. They provided me a gas heater and it was warm enough when i was in the room. Tea and cookies were complimentary. Clearly, you have to utilise the public bath and toilet. Bath time was given for each gender. Atmosphere: It might be like the big temple but i really quite liked the small temple setting. I also participated the morning ritual one morning. Highly recommended.

The ryokan is in a central location which was important to us because we could easily walk to all the sights in town. Dinner was at 5:30pm, breakfast at 7am, there was an evening curfew at 10pm and the Buddhist ceremony in the morning was at 5:50. Staying here was not a cheap option but the whole experience was just fantastic, we really got value for our money. I highly recommend this temple and would stay here again.

Siamo un coppia e era la 3 eme volte che veniamo a layasan. Sappiamo bene questa esperienza immersiva nelle monache . Abbiamo già avuto un ottimo benvenuto prima dell’ora del Check in. Ci hanno messo le valigie e siamo andati al cimitero, e quando sono tornato alla fine della giornata, degli apprendisti monaci ci hanno accolti con un sorriso enorme e con un umore quasi. Ci hanno servito del tè e degli okakis (crackers) il tempo di fare il Check in. La camera era tradizionale, tatamis e futon con toaletta privativa Toto e lavabo. (Non è sempre privativo in un altro o le toalette sono comuni). Era bella e pulita. Un mini frigo. Une bottiglia d’acqua e del tè a disposizione con bollitore. La doccia e il bagno (sento), super pulita e calda, era super piacevole potersi bagnarsi in pace dopo una grande giornata. Nous sommes tatoués et n'avons pas vu de restrictions à ce sujet. D'ailleurs il n'y avait personne en même temps que moi ou mon fiancé donc c'est comme si c'était privé ! Mangiare alle 5:30 pm, vegetariano e delizioso mentre noi adoriamo la carne, ecco cosa succede. Servizio impeccabile. Ceremonia del mattino dove il mio fidanzato è andato, splendida esperienza come di solito e le monache erano a disposizione per le domande. Colazione alle 7:30 pm. Così buona come la sera! Prima di partire piacevole da dire nulla, ci rimettiamo con un super ricordo di questo posto. Si consiglia di Soji-inn.

The temple is beautiful, and the room is super nice and spacious. There is also a beautiful garden. I was expecting some additional amenities and/or interactions with the monks to have a better experience, but there is nothing related to this. I have the impression there are temples around the area that are much better on this regards and this could contribute a lot to the overall experience. If you want to have dinner and/or breakfast please make reservation at least one day before check-in and make sure this is accepted by the property, otherwise you won’t be able to have dinner/breakfast if you request this during check-in. The morning ceremony was ok, but there is no minimum explanation at the beginning or end (at least in English) which could have been nice. Also, the room is extremely cold, so make sure you bring enough clothes to it. The onsen is a nice addition but nothing spectacular. Overall, it is ok but it could be improved a lot. There are some lessons you can take part of, but I joined the cemetery tour organized by another temple, so I don’t know if they were good. I have the impression that in Eko-in temple they were giving the guests more services as meditation sessions and this tour and additional explanations in English. Curfew is at 9 pm.

We stayed here in Oct 2018 for 1 night with a friend, we wanted to experience staying at a Buddhist temple and a short stop at Koya-san provided this opportunity. We stayed in a Japanese style room which was great, the room opened to an inner courtyard/garden. Vegetarian Japanese dinner and breakfast was included and it was a beautiful feast, more filling than what I expected. Check-in is between 3pm-5pm but as early arrivals we could leave our bags in the office/lobby. Check-out was at 10am and again they kindly stored our luggage for us until we had to leave. The ryokan is in a central location which was important to us because we could easily walk to all the sights in town. Dinner was at 5:30pm, breakfast at 7am, there was an evening curfew at 10pm and the Buddhist ceremony in the morning was at 5:50. Staying here was not a cheap option but the whole experience was just fantastic, we really got value for our money. I highly recommend this temple and would stay here again.

There are many shokubos in Koyasan. If you don't understand Japanese, you could book through one through the shokubo association and they will just randomly assign one to you or one of those travel hotel websites (with limited selections). I stumbled upon Komyo-in website which has an OK english translation page and let me book direct. Most of the reviews are on google and i think it deserves one here. Communication: Mostly through google translate and it worked fine. The hospitality was great. Everything was well organised. Nothing was too much of a hassle. I stayed here for 2 nights. I wanted to do the cemetery night tour and the monk told me that he would wait for me and not lock the door if i returned pass the curfew hrs (9pm). I didn't think it would be a problem but they didn't want me to worry. Location: The temple is located just behind the Eko-in, where the night tour starts. It is also located near the bus-stop if you are coming from the koyasan cable station. Food: I ordered the breakfast and dinner on both nights. There were delicious and adequate for a standard portion. They have the larger portion selection. Room: Spacious as a solo traveler. They provided me a gas heater and it was warm enough when i was in the room. Tea and cookies were complimentary. Clearly, you have to utilise the public bath and toilet. Bath time was given for each gender. Atmosphere: It might be like the big temple but i really quite liked the small temple setting. I also participated the morning ritual one morning. Highly recommended.

Dopo due ore di arrivare al tempio da Namba, è stato rinfrescante assorbire la pace e la tranquillità del luogo. Il luogo è solo un breve passo di sopra un po' di passeggiata dalla fermata dell'autobus dove siamo partiti. L’ispezione era regolare con una buona spiegazione sul luogo e sulle strutture. Il luogo era senza spot e si assicuravano che aiutando a pulire le ruote del nostro bagaglio. La stanza è di grande dimensione per quattro di noi in un ambiente tradizionale dormire su mattoni tatami. La mia camera è attaccata a un bagno, ma il bagno è un bagno condiviso, pulito e spazioso, e il pranzo e il colazione sono meravigliosi pasti vegetariani. Abbiamo anche avuto una grande esperienza con le preghiere mattinali che ci hanno anche insegnato un metodo di meditazione. Questo posto è a pochi passi dal centro della piccola città con ristoranti per pranzo. In generale, abbiamo avuto un soggiorno tranquillo qui, che è stato un buon viaggio dalla rabbia delle grandi città.
