After an incredible journey through Kerala, Taj Green Cove was the perfect sanctuary for the next phase of our travels. Nestled within the jungle, with birdsong filling the air and the Arabian Sea stretching beyond the horizon, this resort is a hidden paradise. Arriving after a long journey from Alleppey, we were warmly welcomed with refreshing drinks, a tour of the lush tropical grounds, and then guided to our cool, well-appointed chalet, which offered privacy and tranquility, with a balcony overlooking the jungle and the distant sea. A Haven of Hospitality From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The team at Taj Green Cove operates with a rare combination of attentiveness and warmth, ensuring every guest feels personally looked after. A special mention to Noyal, the manager, whose leadership and dedication to guest satisfaction were evident throughout our stay. He ensured that every detail of our experience was flawless, offering personalised attention and making sure we had everything we needed. Similarly, Aane, a wonderful member of the restaurant staff, provided consistently attentive and reassuring service, always ensuring that our dining experiences were smooth, enjoyable, and filled with thoughtful touches. A Culinary Journey Through India The food at Taj Green Cove was outstanding, offering a diverse selection of flavours from across India and beyond. Every meal was a celebration of taste, with dishes ranging from authentic South Indian specialties to rich North Indian curries, freshly baked breads, and perfectly cooked seafood. Some of our favourites included fresh okra, egg, potato, chickpea dal, Kerala-style kingfish curry, fish wrapped in banana leaves, chicken saag (specially prepared on request), and fragrant rice dishes. The variety was incredible, and each meal was an opportunity to explore a different part of India’s rich culinary heritage. A Special Anniversary Celebration One of the highlights of our stay was the anniversary meal thoughtfully arranged by Abhishek, the restaurant manager. He went above and beyond to personalise our dining experiences, surprising us with a candlelit dinner on a private balcony, overlooking the serene resort grounds. He curated a special menu just for us, filled with fresh, authentic, and beautifully prepared Indian dishes, making our 25th wedding anniversary celebration truly unforgettable. Every morning, Abhishek also ensured we had a unique breakfast experience, introducing us to regional specialties from across India, each dish reflecting the rich diversity of the country’s cuisine. His passion for hospitality and personal attention made a lasting impression. I was at Taj Green Cove from April 11 to April 16, 2025. I arrived by an early flight and was graciously offered another room to wait in while my suite became available and ready. I had reserved a Deluxe Sea View Suite with Balcony. It is one of the finest accommodations I have had yet in any five star resort. The suite is very spacious- there is a large drawing room with a four seater fabric sofa, and ottoman. There is a large tea-coffee station here with many times the supplies one might get in another type of room, and spare cups etc in the drawers. There a sizeable table which contains a refrigerator in an enclosure below, stocked with drinks, and a vintage leather box with snacks kept on the table top itself. There is also a circular dining table close to the tea station. There is a second washroom in the drawing room area. I liked the cane table with a glass top which accompanies the sofa here. There are two balconies, one each for the drawing room and the suite bedroom and both have unbelievable, uninterrupted panoramic views of the ocean. I think the view from my own suite can be termed rare. There is also a lagoon in the resort just before the beach starts. The resort has a buggy ride on arrival through the property which has considerable acreage. There is a seafood restaurant called “Bait” in this side of the property which is separated by a road and the gate to the other, main part of the resort. The bedroom has a four poster bed, an elegant writing table. There is a television each in the bedroom and drawing room. The suite features a nice shade of walnut polish on the woodwork, and the floor is also gleaming wood. The washroom area is spacious, with a totally adequate wardrobe, a shower cabin and a bathtub. The toiletries are Forest Essentials. Once again, my experience in the suite was excellent, and perfect housekeeping maintained the standards all through my stay of five nights. I was in the mood only of complete and utter relaxation otherwise there are many activities such as high tea, a boat ride in the lagoon etc. The swimming pool is close to the suite and the main restaurant, Jasmine Bay, adjoins the pool, as does Curries, its airconditioned ancillary. The pool is a delight- an infinity pool, impressively clean with great views of the ocean. There are numerous attendants at the pool and there is a good private shower area and changing room at the far end. I enjoyed swimming here on all evenings- a nice way to get rid of city fatigue. Jasmine Bay was delightful. The staff is exceptionally courteous and efficient without exception. The restaurant manager, Mr. Abhishek defies belief with his tireless exuberance, constant attention during meals, offers, suggestions and inquiries. He is absolutely outstanding. Stayed in Green cove Taj for 3 nights and had an amazing experience The property is beautiful and scenic surrounded by greenery all around Additionally the property boasts of a vast beach on one side and serene backwaters on the other side giving it a fantastic experience as u just sit there and observe nature at it’s most beautiful ❤️ Besides the natural beauty the hospitality was at its best Special mention of Mr.Harish Singh Rawat the chef who served us mouth watering dishes and even went out of his way to give us a taste of the local cuisine which was delicious The head of the restaurant Jasmine Bay-Mr.Abhishek too was extremely warm and helpful and made it a point to take good care of us . Besides all other service staff were equally courteous and prompt in their service serving us with a forever smile on their face … Mr. Shujit,Mr.Dheeraj,Mr.Abin,Mr.Manotosh, missSonia to name a few..Overall had a great time and is definitely worth a visit …would just want the rooms to be a little upgraded.. besides that would rate everything else a 5⭐️

Very clean,safe and beautiful resort. All the staff are very friendly and attentive and the facilities are excellent. Good grounds and great place to relax and watch the sunset. Short 30 minute ride from the airport. The food is excellent and staff like Abhishek in the restaurant was very attentive and gave good recommendations. I would highly recommend for a relaxing holiday and you are made to feel special. It was our wedding anniversary and we enjoyed our stay

We stayed here for a wedding in Feb 25. From the moment we checked in to the time we left we were made to feel welcome and like nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent, pool perfect temperature, lovely sunset afternoon tea and just the perfect holiday/wedding. The staff made us feel like we were at home throughout and special thanks to Raj, Sonia and especially Abhishek and all of their team. Thank you and we’ll be back for sure.
