UUtente ospiteMy family and I had the pleasure of staying at this homestay.
The accommodation itself was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated that made us feel right at home. The room had everything we needed, including a comfortable dining table, bedding, hairdryer, heaters, Wi-Fi, and most importantly, excellent water pressure!
The location was ideal, with food stalls and convenient stores nearby. We also felt very safe with its security door.
The only minor point for improvement was that there were no extra keys provided for our family of six, which made it a bit challenging at times.
Overall, we highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a peaceful, hassle-free place to stay. It was an unforgettable experience, and we would love to return!

SSquall WongLocation is conveniently closed to highway exit. It only takes around 10-15 min to get to the city centre. Lots of parking in front of the hotels.
Room is clean. Beds comfortable.
However the aircon takes quite a while to get the room cold. There is no fridge. And no disposable toothbrush and toothpaste too. You need to bring it urself.
Overall ok provided its cheaper price for 2 beds room for 3 person.

UUtente anonimoGreat location, superb variety of food available just below the hotel. Staff are so - so. They should at least put a sign where is the lift hotel, reception area as it all compact in one area with the shop lot. Otherwise great staycation 👍🏻

DDba RpaaIl personale mi ha aiutato incredibilmente e mi ha lasciato andare per assicurarmi che io avessi un soggiorno confortevole. La mia stanza era senza spazi e ben mantenuta, e il cibo era assolutamente delizioso.La posizione centrale dell'hotel rendeva incredibilmente conveniente esplorare la città a piedi, con facile accesso ai negozi e alle attrazioni turistiche popolari. In generale, la mia esperienza all'Hotel Star City è stata meravigliosa e lo consiglierei molto a chiunque visitasse Alor Setar.

WWAN FARIHANThe rooms were comfortable and clean, with a modern touch that made for a relaxing stay. The bed was cozy, and the amenities provided were more than sufficient for a short stay. I particularly appreciated the view from the window, which added to the overall experience.

Location is close to town centre and eateries.
Room is reasonable size but unfortunately only twin beds available on our dates.
Facilities to place the suitcases and laptop bag is a plus point. Ironing board, iron and hairdryer are provided in the room for our convenience too. Tea and coffee making facilities and bottled water are provided.
Bathroom has no dedicated shower cubicle, just shower head over the bath tub. Unfortunately the is no shower curtain! Imagine the water on the floor when we had a wash...
Room was noisy, be able to hear next door conversations and TV.
Breakfast is a let down compared to the other hotel nearby.
Reasonable amount of free parking in front of the hotel for the guests.

UUtente ospiteTutto è fuori aspettativa. Non si aspettava che il nostro soggiorno in questo hotel così bene. Il ricevitore è utile. Aria condizionata, riscaldamento funziona bene. Solo il tappeto della strada è un po' dentato e vecchio, ma non ha un odore strano. Il pranzo o il sahar durante il Ramadhan non hanno molte variazioni.

UUtente ospiteThe hotel offers a beautiful, mesmerizing view of the paddy fields. The rooms are super clean and cozy, and breakfast includes a delicious variety of foods. Just across the street, there are many stalls offering a wide range of local dishes. Highly recommended!
