Hotel in zona City Center, Kota Kinabalu

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The check-in process was smooth and easy, and the hotel itself is beautiful with clean and comfortable rooms. What made the experience even more special was the thoughtful service. they helped me arrange a birthday cake in advance and even gave me a free room upgrade. I truly appreciate the warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel with a very good location. Close to Gaya street where there are many eateries and where the wkend market is located. Next to the iconic round about and the sea front. The hotel may have been look dated, but the rooms looks to have been refurbished since last stayed here. Rooms is spacious and bed is comfortable. No issue with cleanliness. Didn't use any of the facilities as we just stayed a night before heading out to KK park. Good value for money.

Rooms are clean. Room is nice and spacious. Facilities like the gym and pool are sufficient. Buffet breakfast was as expected as well. Basically a you pay for what you get kind of place. If you’re the type of traveler that likes to enjoy the hotel amenities and just chill there then this is a good place to go to. Has a very nice Chinese seafood restaurant located behind the hotel. Also for supper you could head to the fried chicken fast food restaurant behind the hotel too which is open 24 hours. Parking is free for guests who are staying.

Viaggiare ha sempre preso un pedaggio sulla mia salute. Ci sono alcuni membri del personale che meritano di menzionare per i loro 5 Star Services dal cuore e il Professionalismo mostrato. Prima e sempre, Firenze il capo di fronte, Aida, Arman, Patricia e infine, ma non meno Isham il campanello! Sono persone bellissime e meravigliose che hanno contribuito a contribuire alla mia creatura conforto. Una volta ho avuto un grave problema di mobilità e Patricia, compreso Isham, mi ha aiutato con i miei pasti. Firenze e Arman mi hanno curato la stanza, mi hanno assicurato che fosse abbastanza concorrente per me. La mia più profonda gratitudine.

Overall satisfied with the room stay. Clean, comfy, warm shower. Only the plug-point on the table is not really working.

Stanton Gaya Hotel is a very decent 3* hotel right in the center of Kota Kinabalu. All the recommended food places, cafes are just short walking distance. The staff is very kind and helpful. You may arrive earlier, but you can leave the luggage there and the kind receptionist will Whatsapp you, when the room is ready (probably well before the official 3pm check in time, at least according to our experience). Insolation has some problems, so if you have noisy neighbors you need to use earplugs...

È stato un posto meraviglioso per stare con una famiglia di 5. Il posto è bello e pulito. Il letto è comodo. Ospite anche utile e ci permettono di controllare in 4 ore prima del check-in normale in tempo. Questo è il primo appartamento che offre un buon servizio. Grazie per un soggiorno così meraviglioso. Fammi fiorire il tuo business. 🎊

The Customer service serve is good , fast respond and everything in details. Location is good can found Food nearby . But room is not fully clean there’s a little dust on the floor and table . What I’m not satisfied is there’s little blood stain on the bed sheet which the things can clean after wash and they charge me for that .

Hotel recently renovated in 2024 but for some reason carpet is still old. They were unable to fulfill our request for a king bed but help us merge the single beds (after a few reminders). Breakfast spread was good, location is near airport and walking distance to the newest mall in KK (Imago). Did not get to use the gym as it was under renovation, have to go down a staircase to get to the pool. Pool was nice and clean but the staircase to access to the pool had a musty smell.

I recently stayed at Le Meridien and was thoroughly impressed by the top-class service. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel valued from the moment we arrived. Room service was prompt and efficient, arriving without delay whenever we needed it. Additionally, when we arrived hours ahead of schedule, the team graciously accommodated us with an early check-in—3 hours before standard time—which was greatly appreciated. To top it off, the sunset views from your rooftop bar were absolutely breathtaking and made our stay unforgettable. Thank you for a flawless experience—we’ll definitely be returning!
