Strategic location and nearest mall is Suria Sabah and Tong Hin for groceries (if you are planning to buy something like snack or mineral water)

The hotel is so near to the jetty for islands hopping, like 5 minutes walk. There is a 7/11 downstairs and a duty free shop, a shopping mall, upsidedown museum and many restaurants within 5minutes walking distance. There are 6 of us for this trip, therefore we booked 3 bedrooms family suite, which is so big, 3 bedrooms with 1 big living room, balcony, kitchen (microwave, utensils, plates and bowls, fridge, small pot, induction cooker, range hood), and amazingly 3 bathrooms, I think is pretty ideal for family.

First time staying here, will be the last time. Overall poor experience, as room design is a total disaster. Shower place is so small where turning is an issue not to hit the door and wall, bed is nearly stick to the wall, dirty and no parking provided for guest. I will definitely avoid for sure.

The toilet was not the best design and there was no lock for it. Just a FYI. Great location nonetheless

It's very disappointing, I suppose the name of "Mercure" should has a standard but find out to be worse than sn Abnb, you can see wall paint is chipped and control of the head shower is losen ca use water keep on dripping. Service is poor. My room is near to the Linen room, when worker is start to work at 0600, they create noise and wake us up

Nice and comfy hotel at city center in Kota Kinabalu

Plus points 1) good location, next to many eatery options, a self 24hr Laundry is behind the hotel, and 2 convenience store walking distance. 2) i booked a 3 room unit, super big unit! 1500 sqft or more i think, bigger than my condo. 3) friendly staff. 4) simple but delicious breakfast 5) nice view from balcony, and near to jetty to island hopping! (See pic below) Bad points 1) hard to park, no hotel parking, have to find nearby public parking spot.

Recommend their suites, very comfortable and near city centre

Close to jeselton point and suria sabah mall. Infinity pool on the top floor. Limited choices during breakfast :(

Front reception was not friendly n reluctant and grouchy. The hotel does not seem to have any service orientation professionalism Breakfast variety limited n not enjoyable. The view from my room was a dirty air well Look like a 2 star hotel The only positive is a chill area at the pool side rooftop

Good location but hotel infrastructure was bit outdated, is time for upgrade and renovation. No free parking, need to park on road street and pay your own parking fee.
