Il ristorante era bello e il bar era eccellente, aveva una bottiglia di vino locale e ci hanno preso il tempo di decantarla e ci hanno dato tutta l'esperienza del gusto del vino. Siamo rimasti qui per la gara, hanno aperto il colazione presto per i corridoi (7:45) e hanno organizzato un camion per noi alle 7:45. Si prenota un camion in avvoltoio, perché sono occupati la mattina della gara. In retrospettiva, potremmo avere un camion un po' più tardi, 8:15 o così, perché era molto facile arrivare all'inizio della gara alle 9:00.

My partner and I recently stayed at The Ambassador Hotel in Košice, and our experience left us with mixed feelings. Despite its promising location within Košice, the hotel overall did not live up to our expectations, especially considering the price point. Upon arrival, the check-in process was unexpectedly lengthy. With only one receptionist available who was preoccupied with a demanding couple ahead of us, we were left waiting for an uncomfortably long time. The procedure itself felt unnecessarily tedious, requiring details that seemed excessive for a simple check-in. The hotel's condition significantly detracted from our stay. It appeared tired and in need of maintenance, with visible wear and tear throughout the premises. Our room was particularly disappointing; from a malfunctioning bathroom door handle, water damage around the sink, to a low-pressure shower and a lack of proper heating. The absence of a blackout blind, a clunky TV menu, and a carpet that was both faded and worn further contributed to our room's lackluster ambiance. Additionally, the tea and coffee amenities were unsatisfactorily tucked away in the wardrobe, and the presence of a cheap plastic trolley in the bathroom was not what we expected from a hotel that claims luxury status. Breakfast was another letdown, with a noticeable lack of labeling on the food items, including allergen information. The options were limited for those who do not eat pork or are allergic to eggs. Although soya milk was available upon request, it was not readily accessible. While the hotel's location in Košice is undeniably convenient, other aspects such as the wellness spa left much to be desired. The spa required a private booking at an additional cost of 25 euros and a two-hour preparation time, which seemed unreasonable for what is marketed as a luxury amenity. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, the overall state of the hotel, combined with the disappointing breakfast and the restrictive access to the wellness spa, means we are unlikely to return. For a hotel that positions itself within the luxury market, The Ambassador Hotel falls short in delivering the quality and service one would expect for the price.

Great location - few minutes walk from train station, about 3 minutes walk to the center of Košice. The hotel is located on a calm side street, though. The staff were professional, kind and helpful. They gave us great advise on what to do, see and visit in the city during our stay. :) Spacious room with a big and comfortable bed. Sleeping area and living room were separated, which was great. The accommodation was clean and cozy. Better than expected! Hotel spa was beautiful but way too small. There were not enough deckchairs and seats in the relaxing area which made it a bit uncomfortable when there were more guests in the spa. We ended up just using the jacuzzi and went straight back to our room. We were told the spa can only be visited by guests over the age of 15 but in the end there were some kids in the spa each evening. It was therefore a bit noisy but we did not mind. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome drinks :) The hotel restaurant is really beautiful, it's a winter garden with many plants, flowers and a fountain in the middle of the room. Fresh air, birds singing and quiet music playing in the background create an amazing calming atmosphere. The breakfast was also good, variable.

Il B&B è un soggiorno meraviglioso vicino al centro di Kosice! La posizione è perfetta per esplorare la città a piedi, e le camere sono pulite e accoglienti. L'ospitalità del personale è eccellente, rendendoti sentire a casa. Abbiamo bisogno di un controllo più tempestivo e non hanno esitato a aiutarci.

Questo hotel è il gioiello a Kosice ,un luogo ideale proprio nel centro della città.Conosco Kosice molto bene e questo hotel è il mio preferito.Buone camere con gusto arredate con tutte le attrezzature che si aspettavano di un buon hotel.Il colazione era bello, buon gusto, Il personale è molto attento e gentile in ogni momento, ansioso di assicurarsi che il vostro soggiorno sia migliore di un hotel 5 stelle. Il Horse Inn ha anche un fantastico salone per capelli, massaggio e centro cosmetico specializzato nelle stesse località. Se si arriva a Kosice, mi consiglio molto solo di rimanere in questo hotel, non è costoso, molto confortevole e proprio nel centro della città. 10/10 da me.

I had to cancel my travel plans for this year's 2023 Kosice Peace Marathon so I wasn't actually a guest at the Kongress Roca Hotel. I had booked my hotel reservation via a WISE wire transfer. It was my first time doing a wire transfer and it took a couple of tries to get the correct Swift/IBAN number. Gabriela made the wire transfer booking & refund process seamless. I received the refund promptly in my bank account within two days. I hope to visit Kosice and the Kongress Roca Hotel in the future.
