Hotel in zona The Antimachia Windmill, Kos

We stayed for 7 nights all inclusive. The resort is beautiful with well mantained gardens, very clean grounds, lovely pools with plenty of space and lovely staff. Shout out to the lady who welcomes you to the main restaurant each mealtime, she has a beaming smile and is so friendly. The food was good, apart from not always being kept hot which I did tell them about. Lot's of variety and for a change you can use the Tavern on the Blue which is the poolside restaurant where they cook fresh Gyro's. It is well worth paying extra for a sea view room. We were on the 3rd floor in the main building and the view was amazing, looking over the pools, gardens and beach and right across to Kos Town and Turkey. The room is traditional style, very clean and spacious, not a modern box. The resort is ideally situated on the outskirts of Kos Town, it takes 25 mins to walk to the sea front, and a further 5 minutes 'ish' to the old town which I recommend. The old town feels very greek in comparison to the front which is a typical tourist area. Walk up the narrow shopping street to the square at the top where you will find some lovely little shops and great restaurants. The colourful restaurant called Zorbas Family (Eat Greek) in the square is great, it's been open since 1986. Overall, it was a great holiday to Atlantis and we will visit again next time we visit Kos. Thank you.

In October 2023 I booked the Christa Apartment’s for a 7-day break. In my party there were two adults.   ROOM We were assigned room 22 which was located on the first floor (there is a lift provided). The apartment had a small kitchen, bathroom with shower, two separate bedrooms each with two single beds in (these are pushed together if you don’t require single beds).  There is also a balcony that can be accessed from both bedrooms. The rooms are spotless & the cleaning team do a fantastic job. The room also has fantastic Air Conditioning system. If you require a safe only one of the bedrooms has one.   FOOD As far as I am aware the apartment doesn’t provide or offer food which is understandable with it being self-catering apartments. However the appartment is in a perfect location for some fantastic restaurants that are within walking distance (I have listed some of these restaurants below). HOTEL & LOCATION The hotel is kept really clean with lots of outside / under shelter seating. The location of the hotel is fantastic for people who want to be near the beach / Kos Town. You can be at the sea in 6 minutes from the hotel front door. There is a variety of restaurants near the hotel (I have mentioned the best restaurants we found the best below). If you hire a car there is quite a bit of free kerbside parking around the hotel. A massive positive for the hotel is the shower facilities they have on ground floor which you can use to freshen yourself up on the days you arrive or leave if you have not checked in or checked out. They also have lockers that you can pay 2 euros to hire to store your luggage which allows you too make the most of your arrival or departure days ( I have uploaded a video of these shower facilities which you can find on my YouTube channel, the link is in my TripAdvisor profile or by searching howeij on YouTube).    POOL The pool at the hotel is spotlessly clean & tidy. When I visited the apartments, I only used the pool once as we were out most days till late. The pool is open 10am – 7pm.  I did feel there was probably a need for some extra sun beds during the busier months as there wasn’t many (The pool can also be seen in some of video tours I did of my stay on my YouTube channel, the link for this is in my TripAdvisor profile or by searching howeij on YouTube).   STAFF The staff at the hotel were fantastic & helpful. A massive shout out to Aimilia & Emiliano who were always so welcoming, they are a credit to the apartments.   OVERALL Overall, we had a great stay at the Christa Apartment’s. If I was to return to Kos & this apartment was available Id happily book the apartments again. 🇮🇹 Resort stupendo, moderno e pulito. Siamo partiti in 4 amici e la nostra suite era divisa su due piani, con vista giardino e piscine. A dir poco spaziosa, fresca senza aver bisogno di usare l’aria condizionata. Il villaggio è molto grande e abbiamo usufruito principalmente di tutti i ristoranti (inclusi nell’All Inclusive), delle piscine e spiaggia (lettini e ombrelloni sono gratuiti e ne abbiamo sempre trovati liberi. Abbiamo seguito il corso di Crossfit sulla spiaggia e utilizzato il campo di pallavolo. Da italiani, vi confermo che il cibo era ottimo, consiglio di lungo il ristorante sud americano (su prenotazione). In se la pulizia è ottima, la stanza viene ricomposta ogni giorno, tutte le stanze hanno un minibar con bibite gratuite. Il personale è davvero molto accogliente, rispettoso e friendly. Un particolare ringraziamento a Marianela e Sergio nel ristorante principale, e la signora delle pulizie della nostra stanza 607 (purtroppo non ricordo il nome).
