Caravia Beach Hotel

This is our second visit to the Caravia Hotel staying in the junior suites. From the moment of arrival, this place feels special. Check in is quick and professional. You and your cases then go by a cute electric buggy to your room. We booked a swim up pool which is such luxury. The pool is amazing and so nice to do lengths in or just float around on a lilo in. The rooms are spacious and trendy. The beds are sooo comfortable. We had all our meals in the restaurant next to the junior suites. The grounds are kept spotless and are beautiful. But what shines at this hotel are the employees. Each and every of them provide such great service. They are all so friendly and give the time to ask you about your day. We have never had to wait for anything in the restaurant or bar as they have such great planning and are so proactive. They do show cooking in the restaurant and the chef is amazing at adapting meals just for you. He is so respectful and a brilliant chef. The hotel has a spa on site and I have had a couple of treatments with Beatrice. She was able to adapt my massage and included reflexology which was brilliant. It is a short walk to the beach where there is a bar serving snacks included in the all inclusive. We are here for 2 weeks and have 6 days still to enjoy. We can’t wait to come back next year. Amazing food, beautiful location and friendly staff. Some of animators and pool "lifeguards" were pretty arrogant, but on other hand pool bartender Aspa (smiley and positive person), restaurant lady Maria + whole reception crew was just outstanding. Managers of hotel always found time to talk with you and give tips where to go and what to discover around island. Whole family stood in hotel rooms in main building. Everything was clean so we could just relax and enjoyed our holiday. Thank you and see you next year.

We have just returned from a family all inclusive holiday and the place was simply beautiful. The hotel itself is surrounded by beautiful gardens which is very picturesque. Many pools to choice from, our girls were in them constantly. Hotel right on the beach which is private to stayers which was brilliant, the beach bar was incredible, maybe better than the actual restaurant. Ice creams, slush’s, beer, wine, n lovely little snacks all included and just made things so much easier. The food in the hotel was decent enough. Took a little getting use to and our kids mainly ate standard English stuff, but the hotel tried to mix it up as much as they could and there was always a decent choice. We stayed in a bungalow which was lovely, spacious, lovely garden balcony views, cleaned every single day which was so nice to come back to. Our cleaning lady was lovely, did not speak a word of English but such a lovely helpful lady. All the staff at the hotel were polite, nothing seemed to much trouble, only slight fault I would say is the entertainment at night is in the theatre and it’s mainly run by young lads who are abit much sonetines. We didn’t spend much time here but the set up is good and kids seemed to love it. Location is lovely and quite, not much around. We did horse riding at Erikas farm which was a beach ride, ours girls loved it, really beautiful. We also took a short taxi ride to the local water park which was brilliant. Hotel 15 minutes away from airport, absolutely ideal after travelling all those hours. We arrived early hours in the morning with 2 children and were greeted and led to our room, they even put snacks and waters in our room fridge because we had a long journey which I thought was a lovely lovely touch. Overall it was just a brilliant place, best of both worlds in being peaceful yet having enough to entertain the kids. Not a lot going on in the day time but again with all the pools, kids entertained themselves. Can get windy, on the beach especially, but we welcomed this most days as it took the heat off you. Water beautiful and clear, and we went in the sea many times. Overall a fantastic holiday, i spent a lot of time reading reviews when I booked, trust me, you will not be disappointed, we certainly weren’t. How anyone could give Caravia Beach less than five stars is beyond me. The food is excellent, the staff (all of them! A special high five to the swiss-italian animator squad, they did a hell of a job. Especially the musical shows) is friendly and professional, rooms and facilities were in excellent condition and very clean. The mattrasses were perfect.

The food is lovely here, tried adults only and the family ones. Beach is gorgeous and very shallow, most people sit by the beach. Plenty of beds round the other pools with a bar not far from each one. Stayed in the adults only section and every member of staff were very friendly

Dont normally write reviews but after our stay I hope this will help you to decide to book/stay at this hotel, We have just returned from a 9 night stay at Cavaria beach and would certainly recommend it, ideal location with the beach just 1 min walk down from the main complex, great pools (was very cold though guessing time of yr) grounds and gardens kept in great order and just the whole set up was perfect, food exceptional great choice throughout the day and staff very friendly and professional the way they work, our room was great, very lucky to have a bungalow facing the sea, second floor i would suggest and try and book, very spacious clean and comfortable, the only small downside is my wife didnt like the see-through frosted door what you could see anyone going to the toilet but we asked reception and within a few hours they covered this up, it was my birthday out there and they left a lovely homemade cake with colourful decorations what was a great touch by the hotel and say thanks for that :) Location was good, 30 min bus ride into Kos what picks up at front entrance of the hotel cost £2 each one way, we hired a bike each what again was directly outside reception costing 15 euros a day for 2 bikes and we went to a local village tigiti about 30 mins away to go jet skiing, Great amenities all round tbh, So all in all I would rate this holiday and hotel 8.5/10 and we have booked to go back in August already, so if your a family or a couple, perfect choice and sure you wouldn't be let down, the only biggest (nothing major) let down was entertainment, there was one evening they had a band around the pool playing traditional Greek songs and people dancing what was great but apart from this nothing to exciting, they had there own entertainment team what is more for the kids, they done well, but little more outside entertainment for adults later on in the evening would be brilliant, Thanks Caravia Beach and all your staff for a fantastic break, will see you again in August....cannot wait :)

High standard hotel, beautiful and enormous garden, sandy beach, amazing sunsets. I don’t recommend standard rooms- they are tiny and without balcony, so we have changed it to bungalow. Food was delicious, especially desserts! A few small defects: - evening animations were so boring, for children everyday same songs, nothing exciting for adults. And why only in german language, please speak english. - it’s a pity there isn’t any restaurant a la carte - smoking should be prohibited in main restaurant during eating meals.

Just back from a ten-day stay at Caravia Beach. We stayed in a bungalow (which are not actually bungalows, but two-storey apartment blocks situated away from the main hotel, between the beach and the pool area). The bungalows are recently refurbished with modern and neutral decor, and perfect for our family of four. Wonderful shower, comfy beds, and blissful air conditioning. The main resort is the best I have been to in terms of access to pool and private beach. Our bungalow was literally next to the pool complex (3 adjoining pools) and from there there are 2 paths that lead to the beach. You can be from apartment to pool to beach in 3 minutes. Never a problem getting a sunbed, either by the pool or on the beach. The adults only part of the resort is completely separate from the main resort so I can’t comment on that (though it looks incredible). The kids splash park is also separate from the main complex, and we never ventured there as our kids are older (11 and 14). The hotel provides beach towels at no charge which you can change as often as you like. The whole resort is exceptionally clean and the restaurant and food are great. Can be a bit of a scrum at peak times but no more so than any other all inclusive. One nice thing is that they only offer all inclusive at the hotel so no need for annoying wrist bands! Guests are nearly all German so staff tend to speak German rather than English. Maybe not ideal if you’re English and like to make friends with fellow Brits on holiday. In terms of location there’s really not much nearby so don’t come here if you like to explore local bars and restaurants. Marmari has a few restaurants and a nice beach but not really worth the half hour walk. My only negatives would be that most of the hotel staff are not very friendly, bordering on rude at times. And the entertainment is quite limited. Just 4 nights of live music whilst we were here. It’s a real shame the beach bar shuts at 6pm as would be nice to sit there in the evenings. There’s a lovely sunset from the beach at about 7.30pm every night. In terms of excursions, would recommend Kos town (30-40 minute bus journey from hotel costing 2 Euros per person), Marmari go kart centre (20 minute walk from hotel) and Lido water park (10 minute taxi ride costing 15 Euros). The on-site spa is incredible. I had a deep tissue massage for 90 Euros (not for the faint hearted) but you can then use the jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and pool all day. They are the best and most relaxing I have ever used and there was not a soul in there the whole time I was there. Overall, if you want entertainment, nightlife and socialising, this might not be the hotel for you, but if you just want to relax in beautiful surroundings for the duration of your holiday then I would highly recommend.

We have returned from a lovely stay at the Caravia beach hotel. Every member of staff were so pleasant and happy and couldn't do enough for you. There are a lot of staff so there is always someone on hand. The food in the restaurant is delicious and varied. Always capacity for loungers/seats at the pool, beach, beach bar or restaurant or evening bar. The hotel grounds are kept immaculate. We were quite surprised that our family holiday hotel room was small and had no balcony however we got used to this. The window opened fully across the room. We probably wouldn't have spent much time on the balcony anyway. Beach towels are changed every day so no need to hang up wet towels in the room. Cleanliness was 5* throughout the hotel. I did notice quite a few smokers around the pool, beach and bar areas so often the gentle breeze blew their smoke in to your and your childrens faces every time they lit up. A non smoking area in each outdoor communal place would be better. Overall a super stay.
