Abbiamo soggiornato dal 17 al 27 di settembre. In coppia.

We have now visted this resort 7 times and everytime they seem to out perform the last visit. The resort has expanded over the last 10 years with no sign of reducing the quality. We have been there when the resort is a full capacity and it still doesn't seem busy. The food could not be fresher as they grow it on resort, you can even see the farmers harvesting in the early mornings, assuming you can get up after drinking as much ouzo as they can deliver. Only negative I would mention is that over the years the entertainment has been more and more european and aimed at young families, in the early days there were many more game show type shows which got everyone involved. Don't expect a massive waterpark but with so many pools you can find enough areas to either chill or get involved. I would love to see more choices on the drinks menu for the 2025 season as I will be back.

We’ve just returned from a 12-night stay at Blue Lagoon Village and had a truly lovely holiday. We travelled as a family of four with two young children (ages 6 and 7) and found the resort ideal for a relaxed and fun family break. Rooms: We stayed in a two-bedroom swim-up pool room with a sea view, which was perfect for our needs. The children had their own single beds, and the bathroom featured both a separate shower and bath. A couple of things to be aware of: • The tiles outside are very slippery when wet — be extra cautious. • The shower leaks under the door. Placing two towels on the floor helps prevent it from turning into a mini swimming pool. The cleaner visited daily, making beds, changing towels, and cleaning the floors. While the fridge isn’t restocked with water, bottled water is easily available from any of the bars around the resort. Pools: Yes, the pools are a bit cold — but that’s to be expected given the climate and your body temperature. Once you’re in, they’re refreshing. The pools are clean, with plenty of loungers and several quieter areas if you prefer a more peaceful setting. Food: The food was fresh, tasty, and offered a good variety. It’s not silver service, but that’s not what you should expect from a large all-inclusive resort. We didn’t try the specialty restaurants (our choice), as the main buffet areas were more than sufficient. Staff: The staff are fantastic — friendly, hardworking, and always smiling. They do a difficult job and deserve respect and appreciation. Sadly, we witnessed some guests speaking to them very rudely, which was upsetting. Please remember they’re people too, doing their best. A simple smile and a kind word go a long way. Entertainment: The children’s evening entertainment was great for little ones. The later shows were a bit hit-or-miss, though we did enjoy the “Rock Journey” night. Daytime kids’ activities weren’t clearly advertised — we only found out about them later in the holiday via a small sign on a wall near the stage. One area the hotel could improve. As an active family, we started to feel a bit bored after five days due to the repetitive routine. This is more a reflection of our personal preferences than the resort itself. Activities & Facilities: There’s a tennis court, crazy golf, paddle court, and football area. Equipment requires a deposit (refundable if returned undamaged). Please return items promptly — we missed out on using some equipment due to others not being considerate with return times. Waterpark: The waterpark caters to all ages and was a big hit with our children. It was great fun to splash around and go down the slides together. One small downside — the large blue spiral slide could use some maintenance, as even the kids needed to push themselves down due to the weak water flow. Beach: The beach is quite pebbly, so water shoes are recommended. There are lots of loungers, though it can get windy — be prepared for a bit of sand exfoliation! Water sports are

I'm afraid this was not 5 star for us. The holiday village is in a lovely location. The pools are fabulous and snack bars are great. We loved our early morning walks along the beach and snorkelling in the sea from the pontoon. Lots of fish swimming around the pontoon. Recommend grabbing a banana from the restaurant and feeding the fish from there... They love them. The shallow water is rocky (take aqua shoes) and a little tricky to get in and out of easily for swimming, hence the need for the pontoon. Rooms are large and clean. Servicing of the rooms is a bit hit and miss. Complimentary toiletries were often not replenished and we never had anything in our fridge. We also didn't have towels on one occasion and it took nearly an hour for reception to get us some. Not so good when you've been on the beach and just want to have a shower, and can't relax because you don't want to get sand on your bed. We had an adapted room that we didn't request, which proved to be quite hazardous. The shower had no enclosure and the shower head was too low for able bodied guests (for obvious reason in an adapted room), which caused water to spray across the floor. Despite there being a drain in the centre of the room, the excess water didn't seem to flow in that direction and our 1 bath mat couldn't cope with the overflow. This meant we had to use bath towels to soak up the excess and prevent us from slipping on the smoot floor tiles, and then we were left to often share 1 towel between us. Not good for a hotel boasting how environmentally conscious it is, and with the hefty new environmental taxes paid by guests. Also lots of plastic waste with the small individual use complimentary toiletries... maybe the refillable dispensers would be a better option. The hard working staff in the bars and restaurants are fantastic. Through no fault of the Aegean's Restaurant serving staff, we found the Aegean Restaurant hard work though. This was the main and only non-reservation restaurant that was serving in the evenings. The queues to be seated were ridiculous and then once through the doors and seated, you had queueing for food to contend with. When your hungry and looking forward to enjoying a family meal together, you want to sit down eat and relax. Soft drinks were served in small glasses, which meant serving staff were never meeting the demand for refills, as they constantly needed refilling. We were regularly waiting 10 minutes for refills and usually having to try and get the attention of the serving staff, who were frantically running around trying to clean, clear and reset tables, as well as serve drinks. We often gave up and ate our food and went to the lounge for drinks afterwards. Self-service drinks dispensers would be great here. We went to the smaller american buffet restaurant for breakfast, which was much quieter and the staff were super friendly and attentive. The BBQ reservation area is good fun with a great selection of fish, m

We stayed here for 7 nights as a couple with a 2 year old. We'd booked a room with a hot tub, which we were really happy with. The hotel was extremely clean and tidy, grounds were immaculate. Having read reviews before going about the food being sub-standard, I was a bit worried, however we really enjoyed the food, as did our two year old. We ate at the buffet restaurants and 3 of the al a carte restaurants, all of which served a variety of tasty, hot food, in addition to a selection of desserts, fruit etc. There was a great selection of alcoholic drinks as part of the all inclusive. The staff were incredible, we didn't come across a single member of staff who didn't seem to enjoy their job - everybody was happy and approachable, also great with our daughter. Evening entertainment was great, both the kids disco and the family shows thereafter. We enjoyed the beach area, the swimming pools and the water park (although in may the pools were a bit cold). One thing I think the hotel could improve is the signage, this would help during the first few days of the holiday as the place is huge so we took a while to get our bearings.

Large spacious room but was not cleaned well. Toilet and bathroom looks more 3 star than 5. We ordered a baby steriliser for our 7month old and it was brown see pics. Lack of food see pics u less you wnat chips and salad. Waited for 20 mins for dessert to arrive and it’s a buffet service. No sea food which was strange for an island. A 3 star experience in a nice hotel. Location is in middle of no where but close To airport. Island trip to Kos town was nice, do t use Tui hire cars they are double the cost of the car hire trust cars next to hotel. I have been to many Greek islands and all others are prettier than this one.

This was our third time at the Blue Laboon Village it wasn't our best time as the weather was very windy. However as always the staff were amazing. The staff really make this hotel. I want to say a special thank you to Danny our new Phillipino waiter. He was so friendly and attentive. We're looking forward to seeing him again when we go back. With regards to the entertainment there was a brunette I think her name was Annabelle who stole the show everytime. I'm hoping the hotel manage to keep her as she was the best singer and dancer by a long way. Morning yoga was also amazing. We really enjoyed the happy dance and water aerobics. The food was also good as always. The only thing I would say to improve os to try to not put families to close to the amphitheatre.

Overall we had a lovely family holiday. Not relaxing but that’s because we have a toddler and who finds anything relaxing with a toddler but memories were made and that’s what counts. Positive points - To our surprise when we arrived we had been upgraded (we were not told this we only realised when we actually entered our room) we had booked a twin sea view room with swim up and from looking at the website we had a 2 bedroom family sea view private pool room. (Room 8108 to be exact). Be aware we were told by reception before we had seen our room that for an extra €50 a day cash we could be upgraded. We weren’t told what to just that if we wanted to go and see it we could. We opted not to and to see our current room. Of course we were very pleasantly surprised by our room but it did make us think maybe they would have just taken us to this room anyway and then charged for it (who knows maybe that’s unfair to say) but what else could we be upgraded to when we were already super happy with the surprise we got. Water park - yes the pools are cold as are the water park pools however this did keep our little one entertained and it’s nice to have this on site for no extra charge. Be prepared that none of the pools are heated. Location - The location of the hotel, the build, landscape etc is beautiful. When you look around especially of an evening when most people are at the entertainment and everywhere is deserted. You can really see how beautiful the resort is. From the terraces of the restaurants, rooms, pools etc. Being remote is a negative as you’ll see further down in this review however this also makes the resort extremely beautiful if this is what you are after. Pools - There is an indoor pool/jacuzzi in the gym which is heated (normal indoor pool temp). We went here on our last day and wished we had known about it sooner as when we had not so great weather days it would have been perfect to take our daughter she thoroughly enjoyed it and it also has access to the sauna. Staff - All of the staff were absolutely lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. We did find when arriving at the main restaurant that you didn’t really know what to do. Staff would see you and look almost like they were going to come over to you and show you to a table and then don’t so you do feel a little in limbo however once this had happened once we soon learnt to just find a table and hope for the best. The same goes for lunch at the Mythos restaurant however sometimes the staff did take you to a table and greet you and other times they didn’t so it was quite inconsistent. Negatives- Food/drinks - Let’s start with the main buffet restaurant Aegean. We ate at this restaurant multiple times for breakfast and dinner and can’t say we were impressed. There isn’t much variety in what is offered I.e fruit - we have been to many all inclusive hotels and the fruit is normally high quality and various types (melon, pineapple, kiwi, watermelon etc). All we have e
