Hotel in zona Midnight Hikes Reykjavik, Kopavogur

Appartamento che si trova in un edificio molto bello, in posizione che (per me che avevo macchina a noleggio) è risultata ottima perché molto vicina a Reykjavik e a molte altre attrazioni (dal Circolo d'oro alla Laguna Blu, al sito dell'eruzione del 2021-2022 o all'aeroporto). Per di più alcuni supermercati sono raggiungibili in macchina in pochi minuti, quindi molto bene da questo punto di vista. L'appartamento di per sé è molto carino e molto 'nordico' con parquet, finestre grandi e mobili in stile Ikea. Molto carino davvero.e finestre potevano essere oscurate abbastanza bene e questa non è poca cosa se (come me) si va d'estate con notte veramente corta e luce la sera tardi o la mattina presto. WiFi sempre ottimamente funzionante e staff molto preciso e puntuale, ha soddisfatto sempre velocemente le richieste. Direi che il problema per noi che eravamo in quattro (due adulti è due adolescenti) è che l'appartamento è risultato piccolo, un po' troppo piccolo. A parte la necessità di dormire in due in un divano letto nella 'zona giorno' (ma quello era prevedibile e con i nostri figli è successo altre volte), in pratica sono mancati gli spazi, tanto che era quasi difficile sedersi tutti insieme al tavolo per mangiare insieme. Lo stesso dicasi per la zona cottura, piccola e funzionale per due persone, meno per quattro. Alla fine per tre o quattro giorni si può anche sopportare, ma per soggiorni più lunghi può diventare pesante. In generale, comunque, non siamo stati male, anzi; ma -come detto- con qualche pecca. Comunque rimane un rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono.

Ottimo albergo. Camera familiare di dimensioni favolose per 2 adulti e 2 adolescenti - letti grandi e comodi adeguati per tutti e senza divani letto! Deliziosa colazione a buffet con cibi caldi e freddi. Ci piace la posizione che è a circa 20 minuti dal centro città ma locale per una fantastica piscina con molte sorgenti termali di temperatura variabile. L'hotel aveva un parcheggio gratuito, quindi era molto comodo per noi con un'auto a noleggio. Anche la spa all'interno dell'hotel era un vantaggio. Il ristorante e il bar all'interno dell'hotel servono ottimo cibo. Tutto il personale è stato cordiale e disponibile. Se mai dovessimo tornare in Islanda, torneremo sicuramente qui.

Monolocale moderno in posizione molto centrale. Il servizio check in autonomo con i codici è pratico e funzionale. Le camere sono ampie con le vetrate sulla skyline di Reykjavi, dotate di TV e angolo cottura con boiler e tostapane, posate e detersivi. Il bagno è piccolo, ma pulito, con il phon e sapone. Asciugamani morbidi e materassi comodi. A disposizione degli ospiti la lavanderia gratuita e il deposito bagagli (con password d'accesso). Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

This hotel has a lot going for it, but it's held back by the fit and finish of many of the hotel's spaces. Overall, the hotel just feels dated. The red carpet in all of the halls is faded and stained, the wood floor in the room had a lot of damage, and the spa is way past its prime. On a positive note, the furniture in the room has been updated recently and the pieces were nice plus I found the bed to be very comfortable. Also, breakfast was really good! The service at the hotel was also great. But that spa, ugh. It's a perk of being a gold/diamond member, but the spa is just not in good condition. Most urgently, something needs to be done about the steam room, it smelled awful while we were there and even made other parts of the spa smell. But overall, the spa was just not in good shape with damage everywhere. Also, the location of this hotel isn't great if you're looking to explore Reykjavik but, if like us, you want somewhere with free parking for you to explore the rest of Iceland, then this is a great location for you.

The hostel was clean and warm, the rooms were well laid out, with a safe for each person. It's such an odd looking building, but that's definitely part of the charm! The large kitchen/common area looks cool both from within and from the street looking up at it: the huge windows, and the warm coloured, up-lit walls make it so cosy! The hostel is spitting distance from Hallgrimskirkja, you can see it from the common room windows. This means you're in the heart of the city - great if you have no transport! It does mean you're in the heart of the tourist traps too... so any shop nearby (with the exception of Kronan stores) will be more expensive than those further afield. The staff leave you to do your own thing, the cleaners are all super friendly, the showers are always hot, and in decent condition. It really exceeded my expectations. I might have wished for an onsite bar or cafe for socializing, but everything is so expensive in Iceland that I was glad of the lack of temptation! And if you do need that sort of diversion, the B47 Hostel, which occupies the lower floors of the same building, has something like that. I'm sure it would have been okay to use it.

NIce Hotel, the reception is nice and friendly. Good breakfast, simple but with good quality. Friendly service and staff. Great location, bus stop 9 is just outside.

Appartamento davvero grazioso e dotato di tutto nel pieno centro della capitale. Il personale molto discreto ma attento nella pulizia e nella cura del soggiorno, anche se non richiesto, ogni mattina ci veniva fornito del caffè e del latte per la colazione. Self check-in comodo e funzionale, si fa tutto con un app del cellulare. Decisamente soddisfatti!

We were initially allocated 331 which was in another block and had twin beds, so we swapped to room 301 which was double and we weren't disappointed. It was a clean and spacious, comfy bed .Great to have a ettle, fridge and coffee machine :-) Large walk in shower with constant hot water. Large wardrobe, plenty of storage. We had a 2nd door onto a corridor to other rooms, there was windows in this wall but by opening curtains people on corridor could look in. Only downside no natural light. Relatives across corridor in room 305 had full wall of windows for day light. Breakfast was good choice and plentiful. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Located with walking access to everything. Would stay here again and recommend

Most probably the best hotel in Reykjavik, modern, new, everything in great condition and with a great location. That being said it is a very expensive hotel even for Icelandic standards. So let me start with the highlights of this hotel: - Very comfortable and great materials condition. - AC with individual room adjustable temperature is a great plus for Iceland. - I got the basic room and it felt big enough, modern and super clean. The bathroom was also big but there was no bathtub unfortunately. Great comfortable bed and sheets. - Le Labo bath products are truly amazing. One of the best I ever tried! I also appreciated that for ecologic reasons they weren't in non reusable small plastic bottles. - The rooms are silent and relaxing. I would change the black TV furniture as black always highlight the dust on it.. even when the room is nicely cleaned. - The breakfast is big and overall with good quality. But daily variation should be bigger. - The location is perfect to stroll along the shops and walking distance to the most important city spots. - The spa is beautiful and very interesting. Probably the most well designed small spa in a city hotel I have ever seen. Complimentary use of the spa is a very nice touch indeed. Although it was a really good expericence in no way this was a perfect stay specially when the price tag is considered: - The hall and corridors cleaning left too much to be desirable. At least at 3rd floor corridor there was dust, earth and stains that remained for the whole 3 night stay. It is strange as the rooms are really well cleaned (maybe it's a different team? maybe someone forgot that the corridors are also to be cleaned?). - The reception. It is always busy and sometimes feels chaotic at the proper hotel entrance. I also felt that some guest were treated differently and with more care. I got no welcome drink or even the suggestion to leave the bags. That's ok for me but then I realized the guest next to me was immediately offered all of this. I mean.. consistency is important at this level. - Hidden fees. Ok maybe it was a misunderstanding but when we arrived we were told that the hotel had valet parking only. But nobody told us the extortion each night of it. At the chekout there it was though. Also in the breakfast there was no specific tag with the champagne price but after I filled a glass with it a waiter quickly send me the bill to sign. I mean it is very bad to mix not included stuff in the buffet. Also every egg besides the scramble had a price tag. I mean for almost 700 euros a night is it reasonable to charge for a egg toast?. - The room curtains. Beautifull but totally off for iceland summer status (2-3hours of darkness). Light comes in in every curtain fold so it is impossible to cover it. Every night I woke up several times due to too much outdoor light in the rooms. This should be quickly addressed. It honestly really bothered me. - The spa only opens at 12h00 meaning you cannot use it

Hotel in posizione molto comoda per chi arriva da Keflavik, soprattutto se in tarda serata. Stanze familiari spaziose e ben arredate. Ottima pulizia dei locali. Personale accogliente e molto disponibile. Siamo arrivati alle 23.30 e per non obbligarci ad andare a Reykjavik a cercare un ristorante ci hanno improvvisato un piccolo buffet gratuitamente. Le persone più amichevoli incontrate in tutto il viaggio. Buffet della colazione vario e ben fornito. Lo raccomandiamo !
