Wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Die Zimmer waren klein, fein und sauner, was will man mehr. Nach dem offerierten Willkommensapero konnten wir ein frisch zubereitetes und feines Nachtessen geniessen. Auch das Frühstück liess keine Wünsche übrig. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Der Grund des Besuches war: Ein Familienmitglied hatte Geburtstag. Der Empfang war freundlich. Aufgrund des schlechten Wetters konnten wir nicht auf der schönen Terrasse verweilen. Nach einem Apero bedienten sich alle am Salatbuffet. Der Hit bei der Essenauswahl war Wiener Schnitzel, garniert, mit Pommes Frites oder Nudeln. Eine Dame entschied sich für Gemüse-Curry mit gebratenem Seidentofu, der Schreibende für Suure Mocke mit Kartoffelstock. Das Essen war schmackhaft zubereitet und ansprechend präsentiert. Hier stehen Könner am Herd. Die drei bedienenden Damen erwiesen sich als kompetent und begegneten uns mit grosser Herzlichkeit. Ein angenehmer Ort. Ein Aufenthalt mit Wiederkommeneffekt.

Nach der Aufführung Amtsgericht von Waschliwil, welches spannend und sehr lustig war, freuten wir uns auf das Silvestermenue. Leider war diese nur von kurzer Dauer und eine grosse Enttäuschung! Begonnen hat das Ganze damit, dass für den von uns bestellten Weisswein keine entsprechenden Gläser vorhanden waren und auf Rotweingläser ausgewichen werden musste. Im weiteren war der Hauptgang ebenfalls sehr enttäuschend. Das Kalbfleisch wurde uns bereits kalt serviert. Im weiteren waren die Beilagen nichts besonderes und dies bei einem Preis von Fr. 99.-- pro Person. Da wäre wesentlich mehr zu erwarten gewesen. Es wäre sehr empfehlenswert, beim nächsten Mal das Menue bereits im Voraus bekanntzugeben, damit der Kunde weiss, was auf Ihn zukommt. Das einzig Gute war das Dessert!
