Good property for a weekend

Wonderful Sunday lunch at the Verandah, Taal Kutir. Amazing service by Nuni, Isabelle, Rajkamal. The team took great care of our group. Looking forward to another experience soon. Thank you for the amazing dining experience and the memorable afternoon.

A calm and peaceful place with great service and a cozy atmosphere. You get the feeling of a stay in a resort while being around the hustle and bustle of a city. The hotel staff is also very welcoming and prompt. Its a great option for a staycation if you’re looking for one.

One of the best hotels with a very good quality of food and serene environment. Must visit. A hidden gem in Kolkata surrounded at a very peaceful place and the best thing is that it’s a pet friendly hotel and one of the best cuisine I have ever had.

We visited Taj, at Newtown Kolkata. It was a good place for fine dine experience. Stuffs are really friendly and welcoming, Prafull served us today. And made our evening good 😊all other good stuff which I am typing just to fill the 200 characters limit

The Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists, West Bengal State Branch just conducted our State Conference at this wonderful property with the help and support from the excellent bunch of people from the hotel. The arrangements inside the Hall, Pre Function area, The Royal Courtyard, The Rose Room were very appropriate and in case we needed any last minute additions help was just a phone call or a message away. Our delegates enjoyed the ambience of this property very much. It was actually a very different experience within the city perimeters when you are surrounded by greenery and water instead of concrete structures. There was enough space for delegates to move around, for the trade exhibition to be set up. The food that was served, the lunches as well as the dinner were amazing. It was nice to hear the feedback of our delegates that they really enjoyed the sumptuous spread. The staff in the property deserves special mention - Himanshu, Subhanka, Sachin, Animesh who were on the ground, Chef Jahangir and Chef Amit from the kitchen. A big thank you to all of guys. Thanks to Saurav, Mohar, Sohana as well for setting up the entire process so well. The property and the staff are simply awesome. I had booked Taj Taal Kutir for my mother’s birthday and the staff went out of their way to make her special day all the more special. I would specially like to mention about Mr Tanuj (head chef) and my Mr Praful from the food and beverage department who need a special mention. My mom’s special request was attended without any hesitation and these kind of courteous and polite staff are the real asset to the organisation. We organised 2 corporate functions at Taal Kutir on 8 th & 20th. Both functions went off seamlessly. Right from the pre function planning, to actual execution of the events to accommodating last minute changes Subhanka Shaan and Himanshu were always spot on.Chef Jahangir too planned the main course according to our brief and delivered some mouth watering fare. They also arranged separate breakfast and lunch for our special guests. Over all a very pleasant experience at Taj Taal Kutir. And of course Mohar , right from offering a good deal to taking us through the entire planning with the Banquet team was of great help too and ensured that all our concerns were taken care of.
