Hotel in zona Spiaggia degli squali, Ko Tao

The Paradise Koh Tao Resort I was saying to my daughter how, for me, a 5 star hotel is not just about the quality of the room or building or the food or even the staff. It’s about the overall experience. Value for money, comfort, fun. We were met at the pier with our cases carried for us to a songthaews. We were met at the grand hotel by Koko who explained that there was a power cut. No electricity but he was smiling and so sincere it was not a problem for us. We were walked to our room by Koko and a colleague. They carried our cases. The room was just being finished with cleaning and we went into the massive room with a double and single bed. No AC because of power cut. It was funny with Koko explaining to us how it worked without being able to show us. My daughter and I then went to the pool which was absolutely amazing. We had the whole pool to ourselves for the afternoon. An elderly Thai couple came and we took some pictures for them. Then a German (or South African) couple. The pool and area was big enough that we weren’t in each others way. Able to relax, peace and have fun. We then ordered some ice cream and when the electricity came on we then ordered lunch; an omelette, a coconut chicken soup and red curry. It was absolutely delicious! (About 600BAHT). My daughter then showered and I had a bath on the balcony! Yes, a bath on the balcony, Bubbles bowing down the street. it was amazing! We then went down to the lobby and were driven free of charge into Koh Tao. We had a wonderful time in Koh Tao which is really alive again since covid. We then paid 500B for a cab back. We slept in the beautiful air conditioned room. The following morning we had breakfast (250B each) and were served again by Su (who was always helpful and smiling). There were other staff members (Myanmar) we didn’t get their names but thank you to them as well. Everyone was smiling, friendly, trying their best and running around for us. We then went on a snorkelling tour and when we came back went to our room which had been spotlessly cleaned with fresh towels etc. We then showered and went for dinner inside the restaurant because it was raining outside. For dinner we had Ka Pow (prawns/basil). Red Curry. Sweet and Sour Pork, coconut chicken soup (again). 4 drinks. It cost 870 Baht. The food at this place was probably the best of our entire trip. Unbelievably tasty I wanted to thank the chef. We then went and played a game of pool in the bar and then went back to the room and fell instantly asleep. The following morning a songthaews had been arranged for 8am to take us to the pier. The end! So, the night before we are at Suranthiya Koh Phangan and they are very similar. Only Suranthiya is about £350 per night and this place was about £40. I think in the 1990’s/2000’s this was Koh Tao’s Suranthiya. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, aber nichts Besonderes. Hatten schon umfangreicheres Angebot. Das Abendessen im Restaurant ist sehr gut. Die Unterkunft- wir hatten einen Bungalow ( lt Beschreibung eine Suite)- für 4 Personen mit Meerblick. Sehr schön. Der Strandabschnitt ist verdreckt und lädt nicht zum Baden ein. Dafür gibt es 2 schöne Pools, die Poolbar haben wir allerdings vergeblich gesucht.

Per qualche ragione, all'epoca non avevano nessuno al di fuori del desk di questo posto, ma ci sono altri posti collegati a questo marchio “Vita semplice”. La stanza era buona, ma questo è certamente alla fine inferiore in termini di lusso (è riflesso nel prezzo).

Camera spaziosa e pulita. Un po' lontano dalla piscina, in fondo ad un sentiero. Il personale è molto gentile, fatta eccezione per una persona altezzosa e scortese alla reception che parla male tanto al personale quanto ai clienti. Ottima colazione a buffet!

Ho chiesto all'hotel di trasferire dal pier all'hotel. Un lato si incontra gratuitamente. Sul pier con le piastre (nome dell'hotel) ci sono ragazzi. Pagare 20 ingressi di batte a Ko Tao e sarete portati al reepschen. C'era un personale benvenuto, ha dato la chiave alla stanza, tutto spiegato. La stanza è stata presa con colazione regolare. Nelle vicinanze non sono disponibili, quindi prendetevi con voi se avete l'opportunità, o mangiate in un ristorante (prezzi di standard), o potete ordinare un trasferimento 150-bat da un lato a Sayri, ci sono negozi. La stanza è buona, pulita, contenitore di tè, frigorifero. Il colazione non è una tavola svedese, per la scelta. I servizi sono buoni. Mangiare anche nel ristorante, cucinare e portare rapidamente. Il personale è molto attento, sorridendo costantemente. Portate tutto velocemente se avete bisogno di qualcosa, chieda e aiutate tutto. Grazie mille per questa ospitalità! Inondato con maschere, molto bellissime, direttamente dalla costa, e un sacco di pesce. Vedi come i piccoli squali nuotano. Da mattina c’era un inondato, si può andare all’acqua a sinistra vicino alle pietre o a destra, anche vicino alle pietre. Le emozioni sono molto! Tornate al pierre, 100 battute da persona. Le strade sono molto fredde ma le viste sono belle. Ci siamo camminati dall'hotel all'altra parte dell'isola. Le scale, le scale sono fredde, pesanti ma interessanti. Sulla strada di ritorno su una piccola trama si sono incontrati tre serpenti. Di conseguenza, voglio dire che tutto ciò che amava in hotel, un piacere!

Partecipa a un corso in acque poco profonde di 3 giorni e 2 notti e soggiorna in una casa nella giungla. Al mattino puoi goderti molti phytoncides. È disponibile un bus navetta. Alle persone a cui piace la tranquillità piacerà~~

Siamo stati benissimo al Tarna Align. Il personale è adorabile, ognuno di loro, specialmente per la mia bambina. È un po 'in salita, ma ne vale la pena per i panorami: il piccolo golf buggy / tuk tuk è ottimo per portarti su e giù per il ***** principale e abbiamo scoperto che era sempre in giro e lo faremmo basta saltare su e giù. Abbiamo una camera fantastica con un enorme balcone. Era pulito ed enorme. La colazione era davvero buona, l'uomo alla stazione delle uova era adorabile e mi piaceva il modo in cui potevi ordinare i caffè, i loro frullati freschi erano deliziosi. Anche se un po 'in salita rispetto al ***** principale, penso davvero che faresti fatica a ottenere questa qualità di hotel per il prezzo. Consigliato.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our stay here. The location of the hotel is amazing, on the beach along a very busy ***** of restaurants and beach bars which was great. However, the hotel itself was sadly a let down. The hotel keep whistling birds in cages just outside the hotel rooms so expect to be woken at all hours by birds whistling louder than we could believe. The room we were in was very basic to the point where the only plug socket was by the front door, so to dry my hair I had to stand at the front door with no mirror or chair… The shower was a fixed height (very low) so my partner had to be on his knees to wash his hair and I had to bend significantly despite not being very tall. The room was very dark with basically no natural light at all throughout the day. The bedding was just a thick blanket, that I imagine isn’t washed between guests, in between two loose sheets so the blanket kept coming out of the sheets. The toilet was very temperamental and wouldn’t always flush properly. One positive is that the air con was strong however to circulate the air we also had the fan on and this made an annoying screeching noise when it turned to a certain point, which again, woke us up during the night. We didn’t have breakfast because we had a look at what was on offer and decided to go elsewhere as there are lots of nice local places to eat. The staff also weren’t the most pleasant and even got our dates confused when we checked in. Sadly wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

La posizione è ottima! Puoi camminare sulla spiaggia in pochi minuti nella vita. Simpatici titolari di tende da spiaggia e ristoranti. Lo shopping è un po' deludente e non c'è niente come un mercato notturno. Con il bus navetta dell'hotel puoi andare al molo 3 volte al giorno gratuitamente. Il personale è molto cordiale, ti aiuta con tutto. Stare al mare è meraviglioso! Il mare è bello e calmo, buono per sdraiarsi o nuotare. La piscina è mal tenuta. Piastrelle rotte e acqua sporca, peccato perché questo può essere un posto meraviglioso se tu (e noi in realtà) sei meno lontano dalla spiaggia. Abbiamo alloggiato nella villa deluxe. Grande ”casa”, con ampio bagno e ampio balcone dove la sera i pipistrelli amano appendersi al tetto. Questi non fanno altro che cagare sul balcone... Il letto è molto duro. Ho chiesto un coprimaterasso che non era un problema, ma piuttosto un coprimaterasso così fragile e non ha fatto davvero nulla. La colazione non è entusiasmante, nella vita facevamo principalmente colazione fuori, con più scelta di uova e pane tostato.

Ich kann das Hotel absolut nicht weiterempfehlen. Das Hotel war wohl 4 Jahre geschlossen und hat im Dezember 2023 neu aufgemacht. Es befindet sich in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Die Zimmer sind veraltet, die Anlage verdreckt und immer noch im Bau. Überall fliegen Baumaterialen rum. Wir hatten erst keinen Küh Wir haben das Chalet/Bungalow gebucht. Das gebuchte Chalet mussten wir bei Ankunft sofort verlassen, da der Geruch sehr streng war. Die Dame im Hotel meinte, dass 1 Tag davor frisch gestrichen wurde. Hier frage ich mich warum man dies dann überhaupt den Gästen anbietet. Nachdem wir nach über einer Stunde warten ein Zimmer in einer niedrigen Kategorie bekommen haben wurden wir erneut negativ überrascht. Die Klimaanlage wurde nicht richtig kühl, es gab kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer, kein Safe, kein Föhn, keine Duschabtrennung im Bad. Die Ausstattung sehr alt. Der Fernseher funktioniert nicht. Es befinden sich keine Schränke im Zimmer um die Kleidung zu verstauen. Das einzelne Bett befindet sich direkt neben dem Doppelbett & nicht wie im Chalet gebucht separat mit einer Abtrennung im Raum. Auch die Hotelanlage ist grauenhaft. Alles befindet sich noch im Umbau. Dies wurde von booking leider nirgends vermerkt.Es laufen mehrere Bauarbeiter rum. Überall liegt Baumaterial. Die Anlage an sich ist sehr vermüllt. Genauso wie der Pool. Die Poolbar & das Restaurant leer. Es gibt keine Poolhandtücher. Genauso wie der Pool. Die Poolbar & das Restaurant leer. Das Zimmer wurde nicht einmal gesäubert. Keine frischen Handtücher. Nach meiner Beschwerde kam dann eine Dame die unser Zimmer reinigen wollte. Das war dann nun leider zu spät da wir schon wieder los mussten. Die Mitarbeiter im Hotel sind zwar sehr nett, jedoch können sie uns bei den oben genannten Mängeln nicht weiterhelfen. Dieses Hotel entspricht maximal einem 1-2 Sterne Hotel & nicht wie bei booking beschrieben ein 4-Sterne Hotel. Die Renovierung müsste erst abgeschlossen werden bevor man dies Gästen anbieten.
