Assava Dive Resort

我們住了海濱別墅和雙床園景，房子內部整體空間不大，有點小，設施比較簡陋。海濱別墅佈局不合理，但是度假村的海濱和整體環境很好，服務人員也非常友好，是濤島安靜的一個度假村，很適合躺平，下次來濤島還會考慮選擇這裏。設施特別齊全，有秋千，吊牀，孩子玩的開心，孩子和他們工作人員相處很愉快。

Lodging: We stayed in the resort in the superior room which is kind of behind the main resort area/away from the beach so keep that in mind when booking. Simple room, pretty clean (minor stains on bedding and towels), AC worked great, gave us water bottles everyday, though no hot water (which is ok for April cause it’s so hot outside) and the room they gave us the balcony faced a dirty creek so we didn’t get to use it at all cause it was filled with bugs. If you can splurge on a bungalow, definitely recommend. They decorated our room for our anniversary which was nice. Unfortunately, Front desk customer service was very minimal, kind of felt like they didn’t want us there so that’s a bummer especially since room rates were on the higher side compared to Thai pricing. I wanted to see if we could switch rooms but didn’t bother cause was already worried about the front desk experience. Aside from that it’s a beautiful beach side resort at a quieter part of the island. Oh you likely need a motorbike if staying here if you want to explore more - not too many things close by & the beach/bay in front isn’t really swimmable. Diving: Loved diving with Assava! Natalie the manager was really nice, answered all our questions and gave snorkeling recs around the island which we appreciated. Libby was our dive master for the two days we dove and she was awesome - so attentive, informative, and sweet. Spectacular dives at chumphon, twins, and sail rock (a must!), all our gear was in good condition and their operations were ran well.

Great dive resort which can always double as a short holiday stay. On a nice beach in a bay, great restaurant. Diving was well organised with plenty of staff. Does morning (deeper) and afternoon (more shallow) dives. At the moment they have no boat from their beach so everyone is transported to the main harbour which is super busy. Staff very helpful. Dives relatively cheap but that's because there is so much competition and all dive sites pretty full with boats. Would go again for the diving.

Me and my girlfriend completed our open water diving course with Assava and had a great time. The whole process was very professional and there was no issues with communication or any negative feedback. Our instructor, Robin, was with us the whole time (one day in the pool and two days out at sea). He was excellent and kept our spirits going the whole time. When we were having issue with certain training he would remain calm and teach us properly and correctly. He constantly had eyes on us and we both felt safe the whole time. The timings were spot on and the resort and transportation was spot-on. Would recommend.

A fabulous dive resort. Excellent location. The resort is run to perfection. Excellent accommodation, comfortable and relaxing. Dive shop was excellent. Very knowledgable staff and excellent dive instructors. Tom Hicks was brilliant. Very patient and demonstrated the skills very well. I completed the Open Water Dive Course. Excellent food and bar. Courtesy shuttle to the pier. Boat was excellent. Snacks and drinks provided. Lovely relaxing beach spot with bean bags. Thank you for starting us off on our diving adventure - we will come back!
