This hotel is wonderful! From the moment you enter from a busy main rd it is an oasis of calm. The front house staff were very efficient and welcoming. Our garden villa was amazing, huge, big comfy bed, coffee machine, lovely terrace…. Just beautiful. And then we went to the pool… wow, wow, wow it was wonderful. Best sunbeds ever, pool overlooking the ocean, drinks and food service with a smile. The lady who seems to run the pool/restaurant area was incredible… so very hardworking and attentive. There were some cocktail issues but she is working hard to train the new staff. The design of the whole place is so gorgeous. We didn’t want to leave!

當時一眼就被酒店的餐廳吸引了，就下單了，到了以後發現果然視野很贊，靠着海邊，有着地中海即視感。 酒店屬於小而美的那種，安安靜靜，有一個泳池，游泳的時候服務員還會詢問要不要免費飲料。 早餐一半自助，一般點餐，蛋類和甜品做的都不錯。 工作人員都很熱情友好，地理位置靠近小漁村夜市，租個摩託車會很方便。

Zazen屬於更加度假風休閑的一種風格，酒店裡麪不大，也是剛翻新過幾年。酒店的餐廳很有名也是很出片，點贊。唯一不足的是晚上白色地板上一直巨大的蟑螂，爬的飛快嚇死寶寶了，讓工作人員給整出去了。

房間設施一般

Siamo stati a cena in 3, posto indubbiamente molto bello e ben curato, personale gentile e disponibile. Quando però il prezzo sale in questa maniera in Thailandia mi aspetto che la qualità di ciò che viene servito sia molto alta e mi duole dire che non era tale. I cocktail che abbiamo preso (+ di 10 euro l'uno) non erano ben fatti, né il Mojito né il Bloody Mary. I calamari erano stracotti in pastella, poteva esserci qualunque pesce dentro e non si sarebbe riconosciuto né apprezzata la freschezza. Gli involtini vietnamiti con gamberi erano insipidi e stracolmi di coriandolo (che avevamo esplicitamente chiesto di evitare). La pasta del bimbo era buona ma pochissima, mentre dei nostri piatti Thai principali il pad thai si salvava (e fallo fare pure male...) mentre il curry rosso con Anatra era inaccettabile: stracolmo di frutta (non indicata negli ingredienti), poco saporito e con l'anatra sostanzialmente bollita, rovinata nel piatto. A chiudere due palle di gelato su cui stendo un velo pietoso, specialmente su quello al pistacchio (??). Conto finale l'equivalente di 85 euro. Si deve fare meglio per quel prezzo.

We recently sold our villa in Koh Samui so decided to book Zazen. Over the years we had frequented the restaurant as it has always had great food, but we had never stayed at the hotel. We were very impressed with everything about the hotel. We had a perfect view of the sea from our beach front room. The food is great. And most importantly, the staff are fantastic. Professional and friendly. There are many hotel options in Samui. We could have stayed at a top international hotel & paid international prices, or opt to stay at this lovely family owned hotel for a fraction of the price while enjoying superior service. We made the correct decision. I would highly recommend Zazen and we will return.

Beautiful decoration but that is the only thing I can say that is positive. The water canal at reception was turning green, same for the pool. Rooms are not functional, the AC is just above the bed. All rooms are aligned where all terraces are next to each other. The room was horrible clean wise: white spot on the sofa, hair all over the room (bed, floor, toilet, shower…), dead flies on the bathroom, toilets not cleaned… Horrible smell when checked in. No manager on site on the week end… I was lucky I work on hospitality because I could arrange a discount, a full cancellation but I had to waste my holiday time to find another hotel. I don’t recommend at all.

Very nice and peaceful hotel. Everything is with full attention stating from the room , restaurant, and overall service. The privet and the massages on the beach are marvelous .We defiantly come back. Highly recommended especially for couples.

We had dinner at Zazen Restaurant... what a beautiful place and great food. The staff was very friendly, especially the waitresses Ice and Jannie. Ice explained the dishes and was very patient and helpful with us. Thanks to both ladies we had a great experience. We definitely are going back and we warmly recommend Zazen restaurant.

Just spent 12 nights at Zazen Boutique Resort & Spa.We were a bit hesitant before booking as we know the hotel was being refurbished. But our stay totally exceeded our expectations! The hotel is one of the most beautiful boutique hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The pool and restaurant area are absolutely stunning. The bungalows are set in beautiful gardens, they're beautifully designed, stylish. really spacious with huge bathrooms, minimalist design but functional and everything was always spotlessly clean. Facilities at the hotel are fantastic including a well equipped gym. The location is perfect as it’s set slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Fisherman’s village but close enough to walk which takes about 20 mins. But what really makes Zazen special is the staff. They are genuinely friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. We had couple of issues with our room as the resort has just recently been refurbished so there were some teething problems. The staff were fantastic and sorted the issues out immediately, couldn't do enough for us. Well done Zazen for creating such a special place, an oasis of calm and tranquility on Koh Samui, fabulous! Stylish and chic. Fantastic breakfast - the pool area is gorgeous if quiet and relaxing is what you’re looking for. Rooms are large and beautiful. Very close to the fisherman’s village where there are lots of restaurants and a night market. Staff are all amazing I can’t describe what a fabulous time we had. Special mentions to Bee and King I think that’s his name the porter who couldn’t do enough for you. We will be back! There are only 24 rooms which keeps this hotel unique and civilised Fabulous x

We really enjoyed our stay here. The pool and restaurant area is spectacular. The rooms are well appointed and have a beautiful aesthetic. It is a truly boutique hotel with less than 30 rooms which we loved. Staff are all lovely. It feels very peaceful.

Incredible restaurant, lovely boutique feel. Very close to Fishermans village. Staff there very welcoming, made us feel at home. 10/10. Pool is clean and poolside bar goes very well. Gym well equipped. Beach nearby. Rooms very spacious.

family of 9 - 5 adults and 4 children stayed 10 nights. Rooms were fantastic, clean and very comfortable. Pillows were excellent. Food was fantastic . Staff would go out of their way to make sure you were looked after. Pool was always clean and welcoming. The children were treated as adults and loved the service provided by all the staff. would go back tomorrow. Annie the manager is a real gem, always ready to help and support.
