Angkana Bungalows Adults Only

Best stay in Thailand. Very relaxing place to stay. Bungalows are very comfortable and have everything you need. We booked the beach front and was the best bungalow in our opinion. Waking up to the best view and the sunsets from our deck were amazing. The food at the resort is also outstanding and well priced. Walking into the town of Koh Pha-ngan is only about 10 mins where there is a variety of restaurants and shops. Better to go later in the day as more will be open. There is always 711 for toasties and iced coffee😋 Notes: very close to the pier - 100 baht per person to resort

I was 3 night’s in Angkana Hotels Bungalows, and this has been one of the best hotels I have stayed in, if you see it up to, what you pay for it. I had a bungalow where you partly could see the beach and what a view, outstanding, with fantastic sunsets. The property is wellkept, good food in the restaurant and a lot of sunbeds and, hammocks at the Beach. It is not the best water to take a swim in right in front of the hotel. But there is a nice pool and in minuts you can be in other beaches where you can swim. It is a quite place, so you can get a good night sleep. The cleaning are spotless, the staff are really nice and the french couple, who has the hotel are really friendly and helpfull. I will be back again one day and I can defently recormend Angkana to everybody.

I attempted to book a room from October 2021 through May 2021 and was told they had no interest in booking rooms in advance as they were waiting to see what happens if the country reopens. While I understand if the country reopens to tourism they can increase their rates it seems a poor business practice to refuse to book rooms at their listed price. Their ad on Facebook marketplace is very clear about the room options and prices being offered and does not mention any expiration date for those prices. However the woman I spoke to refused to rent me a room even after I offered a deposit upfront to secure my room for an eight month stay. She didn’t even bother to offer an alternative rate or make any attempt whatsoever to accommodate my request to book a stay with them other than to say I could book at their regular rates on ***********. If you advertise a price then you should honor the price or you should clarify that those prices have an expiration date. Just my humble opinion but I wouldn’t choose to do business with these people given their questionable business practices and their very poor customer service

Heerlijk verblijf gehad hier. We wilden hier eigenlijk 5 nachten blijven, maar ze zaten vol, dus de eerste 2 ergens anders geslapen. Wat een heerlijk huisje en een fijne plek. Fijne veranda. Alles superschoon. Goede airco. Een zwembad. Ligbedden. Prachtige zonsondergang vanaf je ligbed met een wijntje erbij. En coconut, een superlieve kat. Wat wil je nog meer. Scooter huren is aan te raden. Deze kun je om de hoek van Angkana huren. Wij hadden een wat zwaardere scooter gehuurd, omdat het nogal heuvelachtig is op Koh phangan. 350 baht per dag. 5000 baht borg. Super lekker Thais gegeten bij Siri’s island cafe. Op aanraden van Angkana ook heel lekker Thais gegeten bij een zaakje met blauwe stoeltjes tegenover o’mart liquor in de buurt van de pier. Super basic, maar het eten was heerlijk. Echt een aanrader Angkana!

De retour encore une fois à Angkana Bungalow. Lieu idyllique pour des vacances de rêve. Ne passez pas à côté de cet endroit magique où vous mangez bien et où Florence et Mathias vous reçoivent comme des amis. Les bungalows sont super beaux. Et si vous aimez la pétanque ce lieu est fait pour vous. A l'année prochaine !

Fantastische plek aan het strand. Hotel is een enorm rustige plek met prachtig uitzicht op zee. Wij hadden huisje 1, aanrader. Vriendelijk ontvangst door de Franse eigenaresse. Ideale uitvalsbasis om het eiland te verkennen. Pluspunt is ook dat het op loopafstand ligt van een scooter verhuur.

Ga niet naar dit hotel/huisjespark. Wij maakten een boeking voor deze plek een aantal weken voor aankomst. Op de ochtend dat wij afreisden naar Koh Phangan krijgen we bericht dat onze booking is geannuleerd vanwege overboekingen. Lijkt erop dat het de uitbaters achter dit park vooral te doen is om zoveel mogelijk geld verdienen. Klanttevredenheid doet er blijkbaar niet (genoeg) toe. Dus wil je teleurstellingen voorkomen, zoek dan nog even verder naar een andere plek!
