So many reviewsby people needing the assistance of the manager & staff. For what? One person said they had the manager's phone number to call 24/7. Why? Reception provide you with an information sheet. This hotel must have to deal with so many needy, ignorant, clueless people. Can't blame the hotel for having a generic response to reviews. All the staff at reception & restaurant were friendly, well trained & helpful. My room was clean & spacious. Wardrobe & a long shelf with minibar spirits, kettle & free water. Everything worked fine. Lighting was good. The balcony had a table & 2 chairs. The bed had clean linens, 4 pillows, 2 cushions & provided me with a comfortable sleep. There was a power point on one side. Breakfast was a buffet with an egg station so you won't go hungry. I had dinner one night at the restaurant having ordered yellow fin tuna which was very nice. Staff were attentive & provided excellent service. The pool is a decent size & well maintained. Overall, I had an enjoyable & comfortable experience at what is a true 3 star hotel.

The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the pool area. Picture this: a vast, shimmering oasis surrounded by lush, tropical landscaping. The pool itself is really well looked after, and view sublime. Equally impressive was the culinary experience. Each meal was a celebration of flavors, thanks to the great cook! The food was consistently exceptional. The breakfast was a daily highlight, offering many yummy things. However, what truly set The Tabula Rasa apart was its people, and at the heart of this exceptional team was General Manager Dilin. Dilin’s presence was felt throughout our stay. His genuine warmth, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence elevated the entire experience. From personalised greetings to thoughtful recommendations, Dilin made it clear that guest satisfaction was his top priority. It was evident that he leads by example, inspiring his staff to deliver the highest level of service. His dedication to creating a welcoming and memorable environment shone through in every interaction. The Tabula Rasa Resort isn’t just a place to stay; it’s a place to experience luxury and heartfelt hospitality. Bel piccolo agnello, la cena è molto deliziosa, la decorazione è molto semplice. Non mi aspettavo che ci fosse un hotel così bello in una profonda aldea, un po' lontano dal mare, e consiglio di avere un'auto per provare a vivere nel campo locale. Con molte famiglie locali che si riuniscono, il capo è molto bello e l'esperienza complessiva è buona.

From booking the villa almost a year ago to finally being able to visit in Dec 2023, our whole experience was amazing. Firstly a big thank you to Christophe and Diane who took their time to arrange everything we requested for both Christmas and New Years and made my Father's 75th birthday super special. Christophe and Diane were so accommodating and even arranged a video call with us ahead of our stay to ensure we were all set to go as it was a group of 8 of us and we had hired the whole villa! Approaching the villa itself is mind-blowing and you just realise that it is just as stunning as the pictures. As soon as we got there we were given a tour by Christophe himself and we got to meet all of the staff at the villa who became like our family over our 10 nights stay. Manju and his whole team are so friendly and couldn't do enough for all of us, we truly miss them all so much. The rooms are all amazing and have unique decor, each with an ensuite. The pool area is so peaceful and we spent a lot of time out here in each day just listening to the peacock which roamed around on the grounds and could also see the monkeys in the surrounding trees. One of my favourite spots had to be in the upstairs games room which has 2 swinging chairs where you could sit with your coffee and just listen to the surrounding nature (just felt so zen). We also made use of the gym which was definitely needed after all the delicious food we were eating each day. Christmas Day which was also the same day as our dad's 75th birthday was arranged so well. Christmas dinner was amazing and the fireworks and cake which were arranged ahead of our stay made the whole evening really special. Getting around from the villa to the nearby beaches and Galle was easy to arrange. We just had to let Manju know and he arranged for 3 Tuk Tuk's to take us around and these were very reasonably priced. He also arranged our day trip to Ella with a comfortable mini van which was a memorable trip for us all. Overall we cannot fault our stay and we would love to come back to the Divine. Our last day was emotional as we felt we were leaving family behind, Manju and team we truly miss you and thank you for everything you did for us and making our stay so special.

Abbiamo prenotato una stanza alla Thaproan Beach House quando siamo arrivati al nostro alloggio, è emerso che la nostra prenotazione in questo luogo non è disponibile, e abbiamo prenotato al Thaproan Pavilion Resort & Spa. Grazie al team Trip.com, il Thaproban Pavilion Resort & Spa è stato molto meglio della Thaproban Beach House. Tuttavia, non è sulla spiaggia, ma alla spiaggia 5-7 minuti. L'hotel è super, tutte le strutture, le camere sono grandi con vista sugli oceani. Una colazione molto deliziosa, sul territorio di 2 piscine, una con acqua salata. In generale l'hotel è molto consigliato. Ci piaceva molto. E non si rammaricava mai che ci fosse stato posto in essa.
