Kalahari Farmstall

If it were not for the 2 very nice Namibian ladies I would have given 1* .. The rooms are advertised as self-catering however the few plates etc were all old castoffs & really disappointing. The beds/bedding were good. The toasted sandwiches the ladies made in the morning were very good, the place was very clean. The owners seemed totally uninterested.

An absolute wonderful experience at a place where you can feel the beauty of the Kalahari. The helpfulness and friendliness of our hosts overwhelmed us. I can recommend this place as the number one stop near Mata Mata.

This is a real gem. Everthing that was needed for over night stay was there. Neat and clean. Friendly people. Even WIFI. Highly recommended.

Perfect stay for visiting the Kgalagadi Park. Close to the Mata Mata gate and excellent stay to prepare or rest afterwards.

The stay at Kalahari Farmstall was excellent, the unit that we stayed in was clean, and our braai area had a nice view of the dam. The restaurant was near by, and sold us some wood. Kalahari Farmstall is also close to Mata Mata, and the Kgalagadi border area.

Wir waren eine Nacht im Kalahari Farmstall, bevor wir am nächsten Tag in den phantastischen Kgalagadi NP gingen. Das Gate ist übrigens nur 15 min entfernt. Einlass ab 8:00 Uhr da man zuerst durch den Zoll muss, was aber alles ganz unkompliziert verläuft. Im Farmstall waren wir die einzigen Gäste. Nachts waren wir im stockfinstern, und auch tags wurden wir nicht besonders beachter. Die Toasts sind lecker, das langsame Wifi kostet und kann nur an einem bestimmten Tisch und Pool genutzt werden, das Personal hat uns nicht besonders beachtet. Aber alles in allem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt und die Rihe auf der Farm sehr genossen.
