Eagle’s Nest is a majestic A-Frame cabin, nestled on the banks of the Little Pigeon River, in the quaint town of Indian River, Michigan. Enjoy the unmolested night sky off the front deck while relaxing to the sounds of the Little Pigeon River as your background. Our 10 acres is home to an abundance of wildlife which often will greet you in the mornings such as Whitetail Deer, Rabbits, Turkeys, and a Bald Eagle which has built his home in a 100+ year old pine on the property. Have a dip in the river or grab a tube/kayak and catch the Pigeon River which is connected just down the trail.Eagle’s Nest A-frame sleeps 4 comfortably with a bedroom on the main floor and another in the loft above. Our property is suitable for couples, a small family or a group of friends.*** NEED MORE SPACE ? -------->>>>****** PLEASE NOTE ****** The Treehouse is NOT AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED. We only rent the treehouse to guests who have already reserved the A-frame cabin. The additional charge is $100 per night. If you wish to reserve the treehouse in addition to the A-frame cabin, just let us know and we will request this from you after you have booked your stay As there is no bathroom in the treehouse, guests staying in the treehouse will need to use the cabin bathroom. It is 30 feet away and we have excellent outdoor lighting on timers and both doors use electronic keypads for easy nighttime access. Though the a-frame and treehouse together can accommodate 6 people for sleeping, we do not recommend bringing parties of greater than 4 adults, due to the small floor plan and limited indoor seating of the a-frame which is a tiny home. 🐶. We are a dog friendly property with a max of 3 dogs. Please specify the amount of dogs at the time of reservation and we will send a request for the $100 pet fee through the VRBO platform. For the sake of our other guests we ask that all pets remain off the furniture and bedding at all times. 🐾 Dogs must be kenneled when the owner is not present. 🐾Guest accessFeel free to enjoy all of our 10 acres. The treehouse is only available to guests who have included it in their booking request.We are new hosts to Vrbo, but experienced hosts on the other big platform. Whether you're into boating, fishing, or simply enjoying the lakeside atmosphere, the dock provides ample room for swimming and holding large boats and pontoons. It's a great spot to soak up sunsets, read a book, or have lakeside picnics.Inside, the lodge is impeccably clean and well-maintained. It is inviting and cozy with many different spaces where people can spend time together, and also separate spaces for relaxation and alone time. Less than 12 minutes to I-75. 10 Minutes to downtown Indian River with endless shops, ice cream spots, fine-dining and amazing local bars. Endless outdoor activities at the adventure park like mini golf, tubing, ATV rentals/guided tours, etc. Check out Burt Lake at the public beach and or Burt Lake Recreational Park for endless activities with the family! So much more to list. The living room offers a wood-burning fireplace, original wood cathedral ceiling and floor to ceiling windows for a view of the lake. The open floor plan offers an eat-in kitchen as well as an additional dining area for a total of 10+ guests. When it's time to relax, enjoy a movie on the 55' TV, play a game of cards in the living room, or enjoy a bonfire.First floor has a bedroom with one queen bed, two full baths, one with a walk-in shower, kitchen and large dining area, laundry access and two living spaces. The upper floor has one king bed, one full bed, private deck, and attached bathroom with tub. The Basement offers two bedrooms one with twin beds and one with a bunkbed set. Additional shared area with a full bed (this area is open). What's our favorite? The beautiful views of the lake and wildlife from the deck, and the sand area for our kids.
