The place is an old bungalow converted into a hotel / homestay and it is a wonderful property. The location is amazing and you get to see the whole valley view of Coaker's Walk. The lawns and gardens are very well maintained; the rooms are cozy and warm. The living space is good too with all basic amenities. The only problem is the service which can be improved upon. We were staying with a toddler and I would not recommend it with small children (below 5 years or so) as there is no live kitchen and we need to order for food. The food is served after 2-3 hours which might not be convenient for the kids. We ended up ordering via Swiggy for our kid. Food order was placed at 6.30pm and was served at 9pm! Since the place is near the main road, there's some traffic noise in the rooms especially at night. Other than this inconvenience, rest all was fine.

Good location, excellent garden, average room, below average service. A bit overrated and expensive compared to the room quality and services.

The location and the view is awesome and nice hospitality. But there is no food option available for lunch/dinner.

Excellent location. Near to town centre on top of hill side with amazing valley views. Rooms are comfortable, clean and has antiques all around. Breakfast is alright. Juice, tea dosa idli omlette toast. It's a mix of honestly and hotel. Ypu don't get room service but ypu have a caretaker always there to help out. Tea coffee arrangement is there in room also can be ordered on charge. Lunch dinner can be arranged but ypu need to tell them 5 6 hours in advance.

The property is beautiful, but the staff is incredibly inhospitable. We visited to book a stay and were rudely shooed away. This is not how guests should be treated in the hospitality industry. Zero stars. Property has greenery and is family place

A colonial escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.Cozy, well furnished interiors- It is evident that much thought has been put into the requirements of guests. Early mornings are magical, the beautiful weather, the chirping birds, the beautifully maintained flower garden adds to the beauty of the bungalow. Sitting on the garden benches with a hot mug of tea, I was trying to soak in everything cos it was a happy memory worth remembering forever. Food menu is great. Special mention to the caretakers Benit and Robert, for arranging early breakfast and for getting church timing for mass. Their hospitality was great.

Beautiful building with excellent views. Very courteous and willing staff. Very close to places of interest. Comfortable rooms with modest furnishings. Minimal amenities. Cooking skills quire poor. Efficient housekeeping. Breakfast is supposed to be complementary but consists of only dosas and idlis, Eggs, toast and fruits have to be paid for. Bed linen and pillows of poor quality. Powerful smell of naphthalene balls in cupboards and drawers, making them unusable.

Pros: Typical English cottage with the best views in Kodai. Fabulous location, walking distance to all major sights. Cons: Charged for coffe/tea when had during breakfast. Was told it was not part of breakfast offered. Breakfast is complimentary but the spread is only idly/ dosa. Items like basic bread omlette are charged which was rather unexpected considering breakfast was part of the package. The toilets, room linen requires a major upgrade

We were quite unsure about the trip to Kodaikanal as our daughter was just 5 months old. Most of the places were booked as we waited till the last minute. Came across this place more by chance and booked it as it was a homestay. We were in for a pleasant surprise when we reached the place. It had the colonial era charm but with all the modern amenities. The view it offered was definitely one of the best. The staff were polite and helpful. A must visit place if you intend to spend more time in than out
