Evolve Back Coorg

Evolve Back Coorg is quite frankly a dream. From the moment that you arrive, you cannot help but be at peace due to the warmth and quality of hospitality that the staff provide. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know many members of the team during our three night stay and took full advantage of the many activities/experiences they offer (most of which are complimentary!). The food was incredible across their three restaurants and there was plenty for our vegetarian family members. We had breakfast and dinner included in our booking and between those two meals and the complimentary high tea in the late afternoon every day, we never really needed lunch (and were too busy enjoying the property anyway!). The breakfast at the Plantation Leaf was a standout for all of us, especially given the 17 different types of freshly made dosa (try the tamarind dosa!)/uttapum. We also very much enjoyed high tea at the Granary and a candle-lit welcome dinner at Peppercorn which had some phenomenal dishes from both South and North India. As for the experiences, the early morning bird walk, coffeeology course, plantation tour, e-biking, and eco-conservation walk were favorites amongst our group. On top of that, we were hotel guests during the annual rice harvesting festival in Coorg which the Evolve Back team graciously organized for us to partake in. It was an unforgettable experience to get to witness and participate in the ceremonies marking the start of the harvest. We also thoroughly enjoyed the spa which offered a variety of ayurvedic massages and beauty treatments. Practically every family member had the full body oil massage which was a spiritual experience with two massage therapists involved as well as an interesting steam bath chamber at the end. The quality of the rooms should also be highlighted. Every bungalow was incredibly spacious (we covered pretty much every room category in our booking) with well kept, clean bedrooms and bathrooms (great showers!), living areas, and private pools. The amenities and small touches were of even better quality than some of the “top” five-star hotels that we stayed at in Bombay and Bangalore. Overall, this is a stunning property that is managed by a loving team that truly cares about the hotel and its guests. The joy and respect they share for the nature that surrounds you during your stay is infectious. We would 100% return to Evolve Back Coorg and look forward to also trying their other properties in Kabini, Hampi and the Kalahari (Botswana).

Our vacation at Evolve Back, Coorg was seriously magical! From the second we got there, it felt like everything was planned out perfectly. It was such a great place to unwind, celebrate our marriage, and just enjoy being together. The place itself is gorgeous, super green, peaceful views, and a vibe that chills you out right away. But what really made it special was the staff. I gotta give a shout-out to Sinchana, who helped us plan our days at the resort so well. Every activity, suggestion, and arrangement went off without a hitch, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. At Peppercorn restaurant, Maulya was awesome, super friendly and always on top of things. She made every meal feel special, which was a nice personal touch to an already amazing dining experience. One of the best parts of our honeymoon was the Treehouse private moonlight dinner, we'll never forget that night! Kiran was amazing; he was attentive without being intrusive. He made sure the whole thing felt intimate and really special. And last but not least, thanks to Prajash, who helped us with our luggage. He was so helpful, friendly, and efficient that getting there and leaving was totally stress-free. Evolve Back, Coorg isn't just a resort – it's an experience made with love. If you're a couple, especially on your honeymoon, this place is the best of the best. We left with great memories, happy hearts, and we really want to go back. Totally recommend it!

Amazing location and experience!!! Must visit... hospitality was very good and food was amazing..all in all a 9/10 ... reason for giving 9 is we had hoped to get a military discount since the place cherishes kodava culture and kodavas are majorly into armed forces.. nevertheless had a great stay ..... Saraswati was amazing and made us feel very welcome

Every corner of the property reflects elegance and calm, making it a perfect place to unwind. The service deserves special appreciation. The staff were consistently courteous, attentive, and eager to help, which made our experience even more comfortable and special. A special mention to Shreehitha for her excellent coordination and seamless assistance throughout our stay & the guest relations team—it made everything effortless for us. Heartfelt thanks to Rathish and his team for the beautiful décor and impeccable room service; the attention to detail truly stood out. We had a lovely family stay at Evolve Back, Coorg. The resort is beautifully set amidst coffee plantations and greenery, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The villa was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained, making it ideal for a family getaway. The food was enjoyable with a good mix of local and familiar options, and the dining spaces added to the experience. We also appreciated the plantation walks and nature trails, which allowed us to explore the surroundings at a relaxed pace. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful throughout our stay, ensuring everything was smooth and comfortable. Overall, it was a refreshing and memorable family vacation, and a great place to unwind and reconnect!

Neetuji helped a lot by alloting good accessible room as we are senior citizens 75year plus. The resort is excellent with lots of dining options and activities. My only suggestion is that they should provide railings at private pool in the room as well as restaurants.
