The home stay is located in a very serene environment. The people who own the home stay are really sweet and courteous. They also provide authentic Kodagu food and also provide food of your choice. Money is reasonable and also affordable. You must visit here

Madikeri usually doesn't have nice weather but this resort was a good experience. The road to the resort is easily commutable. However would not advice travelling after dark. Resort is small is size but very peaceful, clean and well maintained. The staffs are friendly and warm. They even tried hard and somehow arranged a bonfire for us during the rainy season when it's tough to find dried sticks for burning. Food was surprisingly good for the most part. However we felt that price was on the higher side.

Please donot visit here , it's a request. Here are some of the reasons for it . We booked the villa for 3 days. 1 We came here by around 10 pm . They said to us that we will not be able to provide food , we requested as it's a remote place and there are not food arrangements nearby, finally they agreed as if they are doing a favour. 2 The next day , there was a power cut and instead of having a generator, the caretaker didn't started it . We have to make food for our baby , so after asking about when the current will come , finally he started the generator wasting our morning hours and some of us had to bath with cold water in the chilling winter . 3 The villa here is having a kitchen which is common to all , anyone of the residents living in the area can come in . Because of this the caretaker accused us of drinking the wine without any proof. Then his words were , " Wo to camera mein hain dekh lenge " I had a feeling of giving him a tight slap. 4 And in the evening he called us around 4:30, here due to loss of network, i was not able to answer the call , I called him around 6 pm then he said , that we have to inform for dinner preparation around 4 pm otherwise he will not be able to provide us dinner . I mean c'mon how would I know at 4 pm that I ll be having dinner there . 5 In the morning, I asked him to please make sandwich for us as there was only poha in vegetarian options, he refused saying that no it's only poha and bread butter . 6 last day we came around 8:30 pm after visiting dubare elephant camp and asked him to set a bonfire. He said bonfire time is 7:30 to 8:30 . I said that yesterday we sat till 12 am around in the bonfire. His excuse was kal jala hua tha aaj jala nai hain. This is was the summary , overall it was very bad experience visiting here.
