Old Harbour Hotel

This was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at. The building is traditional with old world charm, the rooms are done up so gorgeously, with fresh flowers and the cutest decor. The staff, including Sakesh, Kapil, Cinderella and many more were absolutely amazing., their service was top notch. The food was delicious, especially all the seafood dishes and the breakfast...oh my goodness! I could eat breakfast all day long. The pool surrounded by lush trees and flowers was so enchanting, it almost felt like I was outside in the wild, birds chirping and playing around. The live music in the evening overlooking the pool was a wonderful treat. I would love to go stay there again. Someone said that there was noise from the street, but I had a garden room with a courtyard at the entrance, so I didn't hear any noises. However, I would have enjoyed the noises too, given that the place was itself so beautiful. We had wa Walking distance to lots of restaurants, ferry, Princess Street, shopping, Chinese fishing nets, fish market, Vasco da Gama square....oh it was all so lovely!

Fabulous hotel run by the most friendly staff ! Great position right by the Chinese nets and close to shops and cafes. The room was beautiful we stayed in the tower room which faced on to the garden where you could see all the lovely flowers and birds from the balcony! The hotels kashi cafe was amazing and definitely worth visiting. All the staff v polite and helpful esp vinita on the front desk. It was my birthday and they made it special by giving me a bunch of flowers and a big piece of cake with a candle It is expensive but definitely worth a treat

Friendly, excellent service. Wonderful staff and happy pets too! Rooms are pleasant and the garden an oasis in the city. Best position in town. Nothing was too much bother. The food was superb. No buffet breakfast here…. All fresh and a la carte. Dinner menu was varied and the fish particularly delicious.

Set in the old quarter of Kochi the old harbour hotel was an oasis. Close to the heritage sites - church, temple and palace . The lush gardens and pool offered a cool respite from the heat of city touring. Tables for dinner were not reserved but “promised “ and dishes served were lip smacking. I particularly liked the complimentary chips with drinks . Our heritage room suited our needs well being close to reception dining area and pool. A slightly more detailed street map would have been helpful. Overall a great stay

We returned yet again to our home away from home for 10 nights at the Old Harbour Hotel Forte Kochi. We feel so much at home here, and this is thanks to the wonderful staff who no matter how busy always find time to stop, chat, make sure everything is ok give lots of tips and suggestions and are so sincere and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff from running out to the pharmacy for some medication, to reserving the best table in the house at Seagull Waterfront restaurant. Its almost as though they can read your mind! We have nothing but praise for the hotel owner, management, staff and service all which adds up to a 10+ out of 10 for us. The only thing we were sad about was having to say goodbye to all the crew, but not to worry...we are going back for another " Old Harbour fix" later this year, thats if they can put up with us!!! Those who have stayed before know exactly how we feel about this wonderful hotel, those who have not yet stayed and are thinking about it...go....you will not be disappointed. cheers and love Janet and Len.

Excellent location . Great food . Amazing staff . Nice pool area . Average rooms . Bar serves beer and wine only . Air on top noisy to have on low . No curtains in two windows which woke us up early . Good for 1 night . Breakfast included and decent offering
