Though the hotel is a bit old, its rooms are very spacious and its buffet breakfast is very good. Parking fee is cheap (only 800 yen per night). Highly recommended.

Non lontano dalla stazione di danza JR. Il punto luminoso è che la finestra della stanza può essere vista fuori dalla finestra della stanza. Il ponte di Mingshi è molto bello giorno e notte. Il edificio verde nella foto è il monumento di Liu Wen.La piccola carenza è che le strutture interne della stanza sono un po'vecchie.

All the staff were very polite and welcoming. The check in and check out procedure was fast even though there was a lot of people queueing, it took me 5 minutes to finish that process. The staff were very helpful to bring my luggage up to my room. The room was small, but it was very comfortable to stay. The view from the hotel room was extremely nice. I booked this hotel because I would like to use the swimming pool, but I didn’t know that I need to pay entrance fee in order to use their swimming pool. The view from the gym and the swimming pool was extremely beautiful.  I recommend this hotel to you all because all the transportation and convenience store are exactly near the hotel (Shikensen 新幹線/ local subway 地下鐵/ local bus) there’s a lot of attraction near the hotel as well. Some special information: if you would like to use the swimming pool, they will charge you around 2000 yen or more need to check it in their website ;)

My wife and I stayed 3 nights in October of 2019 just before the pandemic struck. We love Kobe and return often. This was our first experience with the Hotel La Suite Harborland. It was absolutely scrumptious. The room was truly giant and very well appointed by Japanese standards. Everything was luxurious and the details were never slighted. We love classical architecture and decoration and the La Suite had those in spades. Service for breakfast was a little slow but the overall quality of the presentation was nearly perfect. The location on the harbor provides a very nice view and access to the boardwalk along the Kobe waterfront. We'll definitely return.

Adorava il concetto di ryokan perché invece di bagni condivisi ci sono state numerose scelte di bagni privati in tutta la proprietà! Tutti dovevano essere prenotati in anticipo per una sessione di 45 minuti. Il sistema di prenotazione online era in giapponese (la lingua nativa di mio marito), quindi non posso commentarlo.La nostra stanza era fantastica, moderna e enorme, ma aveva ancora il fascino. Credo che siamo stati nella suite 13 che aveva il proprio bagno privato, che potresti aprire le grandi finestre a una bella vista tranquilla di verderia. Mi piaceva che l'ingresso avesse un super lungo percorso che aiutava con qualsiasi rumore (così tranquillo!). Le persone che si sono toccate, come la selezione di un regalo complimentare (piccolo sacchetto di traccia) e il tappeto di frutta sono state notate e apprezzate. Sono stati anche molto utili a trovare un ristorante per cena a una notte di domenica (da quando abbiamo scelto di non avere il corso di cena) - era un piacevole pasto locale correto da un coppia sposata! Vorrei ricordare il nome, ma era il stile di cucina di casa di izakaya e così delizioso. Il colazione sulla proprietà era fantastico. その名のとおり、神戸港の一角で、温泉が楽しめます。一階に外来入浴可能な温泉、10階には宿泊客専用の温泉があります。一階の温泉はツツジの紅と新緑の若葉に囲まれており、庭池の緋鯉、いや鮒かな？、にでもなった気分でのんびり休めます。10回の温泉からは海、空が見渡せ、雄大な気分になれます。部屋は温泉旅館とホテルの融合スタイルなのか、半分畳部屋様です。畳部分は使いませんでした。外には広いバルコニーがあり、海が見降ろせます。食事はビュッフェスタイルで、慌ただしい感じ。リゾートホテルなのか、温泉旅館なのか、不思議な感じです。

最高の旅館です。接客してくださるかた皆様、つねに笑顔で対応、丁寧、気が利く、優しい…全てにおいて満足でした。ロビーの方の対応も、ビュッフェ会場での対応も最高です。２連泊したのですが、１泊目とメニューも変えてくださりとてもありがたかったです。竹蒸しのお肉も、２日目の鉄板焼も、ビュッフェの１品１品も手作りでどれも美味しかったです。天ぷらは目の前で揚げてくれてて出来立てが食べれます。 鮭やワカメの混ぜご飯美味しかったです。朝食も全て美味しいです。和洋のビュッフェでした。朝から満腹になりました。そして、客層も皆様静かでザワザワしていなくてとても居心地が良かったです。温泉も金泉気持ち良かったです。３種類あって飽きないです。旅館が広いので清掃大変そうですが行き届いてます。姉妹館をつなぐ橋から見る川も素敵です。部屋のトイレ新しく綺麗です。何よりやっぱりスタッフの方の対応が本当に素敵で、宿泊できて良かったです。ありがとうございました！

Pros: service, amenities, Western and Japanese style rooms, food, location Cons: there is no elevator in this old Japanese building, so prepare to walk up stairs; the wifi reception in our room was not reliable We had an absolutely amazingly relaxing stay during our 3-day-2-night trip, enjoying the peace Tocen Goshobo had to offer, as well as their exceptional customer service. I searched high and low to finally find this ryokan with very specific amenities. Since my elderly parents had issues with getting up from the floor had we stayed in a traditional ryokan only, while I wanted to enjoy the full traditional ryokan experience, the Deluxe Suite with Private Hot Spring and Sauna was the perfect compromise for both our wants and needs. The Deluxe Suite has both two full sized western beds that were perfect for my parents, and the tatami sitting room that could be closed off for me to sleep in with my super comfy futon bedding. By no means is the room and experience itself a compromise, as my father kept calling it the ‘Presidential suite’ since it was on the top floor, and we had abundant space with our own onsen attached to the room! The room can fit 6 total guests, and has a secret playroom, a seating nook/area with perfect natural light, a dining room with regular table and chairs (in other ryokans, my tall Caucasian husband commented on how much he missed having actual chairs with space for your legs to stretch when seated), an office, a powder room, two bidet toilets rooms, a space to prepare tea with its own sink in the tatami room, and let’s not forget the massage chair. The room was clean, tastefully appointed, had everything we needed and plenty of space to either gather, or spend some ‘me time’. We opted for breakfast and dinner at the inn, which we looked forward to each day. The breakfast was pleasant and filling, while the kaiseki dinners were amazing. Kobe beef was featured as well as plenty of seafood both nights. We had a great time with our host, Yoshinori Tatebe-san, who tolerated my many questions of ‘what is this?’ or ‘how do we eat this?!’; his professionalism absolutely made our meals a tremendous delight! The location of the ryokan/onsen is ideal, walking distance to everything and right next to a bus stop. It’s in the heart of the Arima area, which has many temples, restaurants, and shops to explore. One cannot deny the outstanding customer service Tocen Goshobo’s team offers. Shout out to Hatsumi and Matsu at the front desk, making sure we were well taken care of, offering absolutely above and beyond service! When Hatsumi was helping me get settled on my first day arrival, I had asked her about the beautiful tokonoma (alcove) that was in the wa****su (tatami room). Unfortunately, I had asked so many questions she couldn’t quite answer me fully!
