Great stay at the Knowsley. The staff were friendly and there is parking which is a bonus. The rooms were generally clean but the dining area could have been cleaner - some crockery needed re-cleaning. The fire alarm went off mid way through the night but was quickly dealt with. The breakfast was OK - a good selection of food but the ingredients were of low quality and quite greasy. I'd stay here again however but would go elsewhere for breakfast.

The property itself had a charming character (I could see the building facade in the booking thumbnail), and everything inside was well-maintained and comfortable. Bedroom was very clean and nice. Bathroom could do with a revamp as the tiling/grouting has seen better days, and the bathroom floor floods from the shower and very rusty air vent. Very quiet hotel, will be rebooking as the bedroom was a nice size/layout and very clean.

Great stay, staff were excellent and the room was clean with good facilities. Comfortable bed and a good selection at breakfast. Had a slight problem regarding working the heating in the room but this was immediately resolved. Good value for money. Would definitely stay her again when in the area
