Club Hotel Felicia Village

Food music entertainment all German. Shame as a nice hotel have friends that were looking at also going in kids holiday but there going to cancel due to this. Wish we read the reviews before going as it’s very u welcoming unless your German. Stay away

We vacationed in Felicia in September for the second year in a row and did not regret that we returned! Relax here like at home! A chic, cozy family hotel, a gorgeous place, every corner is beautiful! The friendly staff of the hotel is very pleased. And I would like to express a separate respect to the wonderful animation team for children, this is the best team!❤️

We are just leaving Felicia Village and wanted to write an honest review . Firstly we are English and there has been a lot of talk about English guests at this hotel. Let’s start with the staff. They have been fantastic . Very helpful and always smiling. When they realise you are English they do their best to speak in English . I can order a beer , a trip out etc with no problems . They are never going to be fluent but they do a brilliant job. The staff work long hours but are all so happy and welcoming. The cleaners , the young roller skate girl need a special mention . Also all the bar and restaurant staff. Hakan in the restaurant keeper our drinks topped up . The hotel and the facilities The room we had was excellent , air con was ice cold and Wi-Fi was fab and available around the entire site . The rooms were spotless and also all the communal areas . The food choice was very good . You won’t find bacon butties and Kellogg’s serial but we are in Turkey and there is something for all even the kids. The pool areas are spotless and safe and the slides are well staffed with lifeguards . There is a bit of a rush to get your towels down but I would say if you need a spot be there for 9ish . We got down about 8 and then had a lazy breakfast . The entertainment is varied and professional . Good shows , cheesy shows and great for kids. The other things to consider are . The kids club is for Germans , unless you have a bi lingual child they are not for you . The TUI rep is German only The location is remote if you want to get out and about you will need to get a taxi , which reception sort out for you . We went on a couple of trips out to sidi about €50. Don’t bring lira is Euros all the way . My only complaint is the cats !! They do come in the restaurant . It’s a kid friendly hotel so yes there are kids ! The beach has cabanas which you can rent to get away from it. I would come back for sure ! This may not be the holiday for you but I would recommend it it for sure .

We have visited 4 times now. Always had a great holiday. Most guests are German, so staff mainly speak Turkish or German, but even if there is a language barrier they are always so kind, friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Batu Han from guest relations(great English, will help sort any problem, and good local knowledge), Volcan in the dinning restaurant - always amazing service, and the animation team (especailly Anil and Ali) Pool party was a highlight, kids loved the foam party, Italian a la carte also a fantastic experience (it is a Turkish take on Italian food though) Our kids didn’t get on well in the kids club as all in German. Although they did enjoy mini disco every night. (Starts at 8.30pm)

We have just returned from a 10 day holiday at Felicia Village. Overall we are very happy, lovely room, food was good (although lunch was the same and got a little boring), grounds where beautiful and staff very welcoming. I agree about the fact there isn't many brits however I did find the germans very friendly and spoke to us. Most german guests we spoke to could speak english, it is nice to hear different languages around the resort while your away. (This was justified when we got the the airport to come home as some brits made a scene....glad they were not in our resort!) My husband can speak a little german so it did help us to get by as not all the staff could speak english. (I learnt a bit of german while we were there too!) No problems with sunbeds, we put our towels out going to breakfast at 8.30am and still plenty. We wanted to change our bed position one day and managed to do this at 11am, still beds available. We travelled with a 22 month old and she loved it. So much for her to do around the resort, park, paddle pool, kids slides. She enjoyed the food too. She got a "club felicia tshirt" and all the staff we came across gave her a big fuss. It is a kids hotel so prepare for that before you go. We were located in the furthest hotel block and on the 2nd floor and with a buggy it was a bit of a pain as there was no lift. However someone has to be in that block so we ended up just parking the buggy on the first floor and carry everything upstairs each evening, we got by. Entertainment team was great, loved all the mini disco songs, not a problem that it was foreign (I am sure we all danced to foreign songs abroad when we were younger). Our little girl loved dancing to all the songs, especially by the pool. Drinks all good, very good selection! Food as I said before it was lovely. Loved the bbq areas but sometimes the queue was a little lengthy. The last day of the holiday both my husband and I came down with ear infections. We wanted to get home so we didnt see a dr in the resort but managed to see a Dr on arrival at home. We are both on antibiotics and in a lot of pain. It can be common from swimming on holiday but a little strange both my husband and I have it. It has put a little downer on the holiday as we have been very poorly with it. Antalya airport was not a great experience. Worst airport I have visted and our flight departing home was 3 hours delayed but as we felt rough it made the experience worse. My parents took the same flight as is the week before and felt the same. Would we return to the resort? I would love to say yes.....however....although it wasn't a problem this time I do think the lack of brits would be a problem in a couple of years time when my daughter is older. She may feel excluded if there isnt any other british children for her to play with.

We stayed at this hotel in and cannot recommend it highly enough. Before the holiday, we were really concerned after reading the reviews on here and honestly dreaded what we were going to. Thankfully, it was like a different hotel! We took a private transfer from the airport - worth every penny - for the 75 minute journey. Security on entrance to the hotel, very safe and secure. Hotel is gorgeous, really high quality and the reception staff communicated clearly in English to us. Yes, German and Turkish are more predominant here but all the staff tried incredibly hard to speak English to us. We learnt Turkish phrases and they were so appreciative and encouraging, it was amazing. I think people need to remember that going to a different country, they are going to speak different languages and the majority of the staff speak good English. I must mention in particular Veylar and Ali in the restaurant for their encouragement and helping us with our Turkish and being fantastic with our children, Yusuf at the bar for being so incredibly friendly, with superb English and trying to teach me more Turkish and Mikhael the lifeguard who was brilliant with the children and signaling to us when the children were coming down the slides. Absolutely incredible service. The pool was huge and the slides were incredible, no queues for the children at any time. This isn't a hotel for couples as there are a lot of children, but not 'wild and over run' as many of the reviews state. The reception staff have very good English too. Food was delicious and catered for all, including gluten free and food is clearly labelled. The beach bar was wonderful for lunch, sitting there watching the sea.. bliss. Beach is only a 30 second walk and a private one at that with free loungers, we didn't struggle finding a lounger at the beach or pool any day. It really was a wonderful hotel to stay at and I would highly recommend this hotel for a family with children.
