This 2-story cottage offers a wooded getaway with modern comforts and amenities. Because we open up our property for short periods during the year, please note that during the December/January holidays we have a 14-night minimum & we offer a month-stay discount. We will not be taking any short-stay bookings during the holiday season.The ground floor is an open floor plan offering a full kitchen, living room lounge area, dining area, a laundry room, and access to multiple outdoor spaces. The spacious second floor with vaulted wood ceilings offers a king bed, a full-size leather sofa for lounging, an office area, and a full bathroom. Our lovingly maintained cottage is located on a wooded acre adjacent to our home. You will see trees and greenery from every window. Parking is available directly adjacent to the cottage with easy access to the front door - just 2 steps up. On the back of the cottage is a large outdoor deck. Guests of our cottage will enjoy the feeling of being in the woods with all the urban conveniences of Bainbridge just minutes away. If you are not feeling up for driving to trails, there are trail heads just a few minutes away on foot from the property. Otherwise, great hiking trails are as close as a 5 minute drive. Bloedel Reserve, which is one of the furthest attractions on the island, is about a 20 minute drive. Winslow, the main town area and ferry terminal, is a 10-15 minute drive. Lynwood center is a 4-minute drive and boasts a great range of offerings: casual dining, cafes, a bakery/shop, cocktail bar, and even a movie theater!The cottage can be booked at the base rate for 1 or 2 adult guests. To book additional adult guests, there is a per-person charge with a maximum of three (3) adults. Please let us know if you are traveling with children.
