Hotel in zona Agios Kononas Church, Kissonerga

Cosa è andato bene: le dimensioni della camera, la disponibilità e cortesia del personale, l'upgrade gratuito con camera vista mare. Cosa non è piaciuto: La struttura è evidentemente datata e sembra un condominio più che un hotel a 5 stelle. Le camere, l'esterno e alcuni ambienti comuni sono stati ristrutturati ma non è sufficiente per far vivere un'esperienza a 5 stelle. Sistema di aria condizionata molto rumoroso che ha reso difficile dormire serenamente. Il bagno in particolar modo è impresentabile. Dimensioni ridicole (in generale e rispetto alle dimensioni della stanza), rubinetti anni 80, vasca anni 80 estremamente scomoda con una doccia che non è centrata rispetto alla vasca stessa, quindi è necessario fare la doccia in diagonale. Ma la cosa più assurda è che sopra al lavandino, invece dello specchio come in tutti i bagni del mondo, c'è una finestra a vetri che da sulla camera dal letto... con il risultato che devi usare gli specchi in diagonale, decisamente scomodi. La colazione è industriale e di scarsa qualità, molto nordica e molto lontana da un 5 stelle. L'altra cosa assurda e anche ingannevole è che viene venduto con spiaggia e accesso al mare mentre non è assolutamente vero. L'hotel è sì di fronte al mare e ha uno spazio attrezzato su una scogliera, ma è alta e non consente l'accesso al mare, a meno che uno non sia uno scalatore. Indubbiamente il costo non è altissimo ma è comunque troppo alto rispetto agli hotel a 5 stelle della zona. Sconsigliato.

Following my recent return from a vacation at Sunset Bay Hotel, I must express my general satisfaction with the hotel, which offers a remarkable view of the island. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that certain rooms within the premises would benefit from renovations. While I would like to express my gratitude to the entire crew, I must highlight that among the service sections (reception, bar, and restaurant), the restaurant team stood out as the most exceptional. Their customer service skills were exceptional since they demonstrated an outstanding level of attention to detail. Because I am a pescatarian and my sister is a vegan, the staff made certain that our dietary requirements were met during the entirety of the trip. Thank you to the chef for accommodating our dietary preferences so that we did not go without. Special thank you to, RESTAURANT TEAM Meet and greet, Stavros. Your customer service skills are simply outstanding. You have a true customer focus and have always been accommodating, greeting all service users with a smile and assuring everyone's well-being during service. Restaurant Manager: Alexandra. You, I must say, are accredited to this industry. Your brilliance shines through in your team. You are an asset to this hotel, and I hope your quality is recognised. Restaurant Supervisor - Alex, thank you for always making us feel welcome.  Dikis (Flipper) - Hot plate. a great flipper that pays attention to what we require in a quick and timely manner. Andrey - is efficient and dedicated. Marina and Gabriella, I'm proud of you two. You are gracious and courteous, and you never failed to smile during the service. I am aware that working in the heat may be difficult for you, but it didn't show in the quality of your service. I'm giving you flowers for that, ladies. Keep working hard; you'll succeed in this field. BAR STAFF - I would especially want to compliment Elena - was approachable and gave good customer service I compliment you for your service, Zoe - is a customer-focused individual; you anticipated our drink preferences before we came lol. Kudos to you both for creating our cocktails and making sure we were comfortable the entire time. Front desk- thank you for your assistance, especially when I got trapped in the bathroom. The mechanism within the doorknob was damaged, so when the door was closed, it automatically locked me in, prompting three individuals to try to open his door. Fortunately, I am an adult; if that had been a young child who was unable to communicate, the implications could have been disastrous for that poor child, or anyone who didn’t have another person in the room with them to get help. Please conduct a risk assessment before anyone stays in the rooms and check to see whether they are compliant. I want to thank the guy who had to kick the door in the end to get me out. Clean hotel, lovely big pool and we always found sun beds with an umbrella. Rooms are a nice size. We stayed in 515. It didn’t have a lock once inside on the door for some reason it was missing, the lock on the door to the balcony doesn’t work, this wasn’t just our room it wasn’t working on my daughters room. We are on the 5th floor so it’s unlikely to get unwelcome visitors. The rooms and hotel could do with some tlc. Some cracked glass presumably from the hot weather or an earthquake. Marks near the bath. The headboards above the beds and ripped. The food is nice for adults but the children really don’t have many options if they are a little fussy. The kids have chips with either fish nuggets or ham and cheese. They also get a choice of pasta. The choice of fruit is limited, considering we are in Cyprus I haven’t seen a banana, kiwi or pineapple. They have oranges, grapes, apples and some plums/peaches. The waiters come around and ask what drinks you want at lunch and dinner and during the day you have waiters walking around the pool who you can call over to get you a drink which is nice. The kids had lots of fun on the slides but I did notice that a lot of tiles are broken or missing. This really needs to have some work done to it. Overall we had a nice holiday.

Appena fuori dalla caotica Pafos, questo tipico hotelone cipriota di livello medio-alto, si affaccia su una delle spiagge occidentali più rinomate, l’omonima Coral Bay. La colazione è buona, come ci si aspetterebbe da un hotel di questo livello. L’impressione però è che l’hotel abbia visto tempi migliori, forse complice il Covid alcuni negozi e ristoranti interni erano chiusi, così come alcuni servizi (ad esempio il diving center). La posizione dell’hotel è ottima, di fronte c’è un fornitissimo supermercato, a 5 minuti a piedi ci sono due diving center e a 20 minuti a piedi c’è una vivace (ma non troppo) zona locali/ristoranti dove cenare e passeggiare la sera. Anche per quanto riguarda le escursioni la posizione è perfetta, con la macchina (il parcheggio è gratuito) avrete un’ideale porta di accesso alla zona occidentale dell’isola: potrete raggiungere rapidamente antichi siti archeologici, remoti monasteri e programmare una giornata di degustazioni nelle aziende vinicole in montagna.

Ho avuto una cabina di giardino premium con vista sul mare. Non c'è niente di premium su questa cabina non c'è giardino e vista sul mare è limitata. Le camere sono pulite e il servizio è buono ma le camere e l'hotel ha bisogno di aggiornamento e manutenzione cioè. nel mio piano della camera era caduta separata. La piscina è molto bella. Accedere alla spiaggia Solo attraverso pochi passi. Sulla spiaggia è necessario pagare per il letto solare e l'ombra se si vuole usarlo altrimenti si può mettere sul asciugamano/sand. Ero alla fine di settembre e l'età media in questo hotel era ben superiore 65-70, quindi nessuna coppia o famiglia giovani a ALL. Prezzi eccessivi per la qualità complessiva.

First time visit to this hotel check in was easy and quick room nice and really clean. Staff very friendly and helpful especially Tara mathew and Stella. Food fantastic choice of restaurants to eat at great choice of restaurants and menu. The rock n roll bar and snackria was great for lunch. Swimming pools and swim up bar great and very clean. Loved the allocated sunbeds great idea towels to take to sunbeds supplied. Rooms cleaned every day. We certainly will be visiting again very soon we highly recommend this hotel

È un ottimo hotel per le famiglie giovani. Abbiamo fatto un matrimonio con la famiglia. Non andremmo più, perché ci sono troppi bambini giovani li' per il nostro piacere. Probabilmente andremmo al Leonardo Plaza vicino, che è solo per gli adulti. Siamo alla fine degli anni '60, perciò era troppo rumore per noi, altrimenti la stanza era buona e il cibo era buono, ma troppo pieno e rumore nel ristorante. La piscina era bella, ma è stata troppo piena di acqua nel pomeriggio, ma si può usare la piscina per una nuoto adeguata. Anche la zona del bar del salone della reception era molto piacevole sedere e avere un caffè o un drink con Aircon per conforto dal sole. Non abbastanza bagni in fondo alla piscina e al ristorante, quindi sono stati sporchi per la maggior parte del tempo.
