"Decided to stay here as part of my Nakasendo hike. Nice, clean hotel. The dinner was amazing, and breakfast buffet is free for all guests. No private showers, but that's okay in Japan. It's quite a walk from the station however, about 10-15mins."

"The property is located just opposite the train station. We arrived at 9:30 am, did the check-in procedure, and then left luggage there so that we were luggage-free when we went on hiking on one of the section of the Nakasendo. We did not have to explain, the host simply accepted our luggage gracefully. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. The host and staff were very polite and helpful. Some of the staff spoke very good English and explained to us the different types of sauces for each dish. I think the facilities could be made better with some simple adjustments. The room was a bit small, we knew that when we made booking. However, I think the room could be more roomly if not so many furnitures were put in the room. The public bath room was small. If someone is having a shower, the water could easily splash into the bath water and persons sitting in the bath. I suggest the host to change the male and female baths into 2 private baths, allowing prior booking each time for 40 min. Booking can easily be done by self-service. With these minor adjustments, the stay could be more enjoyable."

"Il piccolo quaint Ryokan è gestito da una famiglia.Parte WC e bagno, ma se si può avvicinare la stanza è ok. Luogo semplice. All'esterno è bello con fiume, ponte e grande vista sulla montagna."

"這飯店在深山，名字就是”森林的飯店”，離山下有三公里的距離，而且附近也幾乎沒有幾家餐廳，晚上有營業的就幾乎沒有。飯店本身的餐廳只提供預訂的壽喜燒套餐，沒有預定就無法提供餐點。後來找到一家距離飯店八公里的中華料理餐廳”喜多郎”，勤奮的老闆，幾乎可以說是天天都營業，晚上還供餐到十點鐘，住這家飯店真的需要這個餐飲建議。這飯店的附近景點都很不錯，除了歷史街道之外，推薦”寢覺之床”跟”阿寺溪谷”，就以自然美景來說，真是無可取代，只是實在原始了點，建議千萬穿運動鞋去攀爬。飯店本身有大浴場，但是其實就是一個大浴池而已，三溫暖式的設備是沒有的。不算新的飯店，但是保養得很好，所有的設備都不顯得破舊，房間也大，住起來挺舒適的"
