I needed a place to stay for a quick business trip, and Hotel Pulai was perfect. The location was convenient for the place I needed to go. The prices were affordable, the room was clean, and the staff was friendly. Plus, free parking was a great bonus.

La posizione è bella. La stanza è pulita ma si prende più cura della pulizia del bagno. Ho visto le persone che si siedono intorno piuttosto che fare un lavoro di pulizia. Il colazione deve migliorare. Abbiamo preso riso fritto per entrambi i giorni, fortunatamente il secondo giorno ci sono anche pane di giardino.

It's really nice service and clean, the air and water there is really nature and fresh, the package come with the breakfast even the staff there are doing puasa but they still help us prepare the breakfast.

Our three-night stay exceeded expectations. We were thoroughly impressed by the overall experience, and particularly by the exceptional service provided by receptionist Kai Jun. His professionalism and composure when handling a challenging guest were commendable.
Upon arrival, our room was not yet ready, requiring a 20-minute wait. Kai Jun kept us consistently updated on the room's status, ensuring a smooth and comfortable wait in the lobby. While the hotel is relatively new and exhibited a slight paint odor, the use of fragrance minimized its impact.
The culinary offerings were a highlight, with both the food and mocktails proving to be exceptionally delicious, complementing Ipoh's renowned food scene. The swimming pool was notably clean, and our spacious city-view room provided a stunning panorama. We highly recommend requesting this view.
The staff's attentiveness was evident throughout our stay. They consistently greeted us warmly, adding a delightful touch to our daily experience. Room service was prompt and courteous, although we found it more efficient to request additional amenities, such as pillows and blankets, directly from the staff on our floor rather than via the often-busy phone line.
One area for improvement is the parking gantry, which experienced occasional glitches, causing delays for several vehicles. Despite this minor inconvenience, we would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Recentemente sono rimasto in un nuovo hotel nel cuore di Ipoh, perfetto per le vacanze di famiglia e per le visite di business. Il colazione era eccellente e la piscina era un trattamento rilassante. Anche se non ho provato la piscina o lo sportello, sembravano grandi. La camera spaziale ha un letto confortevole, di alta qualità, tutte le strutture e un bagno generosamente grande. Il servizio è stato eccellente, dal amichevole ufficio frontale al personale attento del ristorante, con la custodia di casa mantenendo tutto senza spot. Molto consiglia per un soggiorno comodo!

YYasmina17Prima di tutto il positivo, era un po' pulito. Ha avuto abbastanza asciugamani. Questa è la mia prima volta con ryokan, ma la terza volta per stare nelle suite di onsen via soleggiata. Altre volte prima le camere erano eccellenti. Tuttavia, questa stanza, il momento in cui entrammo, aveva i capelli sul pavimento n letti. Non c’era un distributore d’acqua, nessuna scheda di ferro e lavatrice. Il bagno aveva i coperchi e il flusso d’acqua era così lento. La gestione di Ryokan può cercare un po’ di aggiornamento per la stanza. Per la gestione delle suite Sunway onsen, pulire le vostre piscine! Tutti e due l'onsen n la piscina dell'acqua salata erano sporche! Abbiamo anche trovato un paio di pantaloni. La ragione data era la pioggia porta sporco dalle montagne 🤷♀️. Una vista generale grande del parco tematico n montagne.

DdyhxOne of the top hotels in Ipoh. Quite a big hotel, with 13 floors (including a bar and infinity pool at the rooftop). The twin room is a comfortable size for 2. All amenities provided, including complimentary snacks and 2 canned drinks in the mini bar. They've also installed a filter tap beside the basin in the bathroom that provided free flow drinking water. There's also a hot water dispenser provided at the lobby.
The rooftop pool is a fair size and you get a lovely sunset view too. It's also accessed controlled by room card, ensuring exclusivity for in-house guests. There's also a gym but I didn't check it out.
I love the creative Christmas tree in the lobby that had little towel animals, a running train and hand written greetings.
The hotel is also connected to Ipoh Parade mall, providing great convenience.
The hotel stay came with complimentary breakfast buffet from 6.30am to 10.30am and supper from 11pm to 2am! Breakfast is common but Supper is pretty innovative. Though the spread is limited to 1 savoury and 1 sweet item, the idea itself was a feel-good worthy thought. The breakfast spread is rather standard but quality is so so, I did enjoy the Nasi Lemak station and Chee Cheong Fun.

AAlfred NKWSpazio spazioso per la stessa categoria di hotel. Le camere sono anche complete. Sono anche state fornite cibo locale di snack n 2 bevande carbonate. L'hotel non ha fornito una bottiglia di acqua potabile, ma in ogni piano sono state messe 2 unità di distributore d'acqua e il gusto dell'acqua filtrata è buono.
Solo una cosa cattiva, la prova del suono della finestra della stanza era scarsa.

UUtente ospiteFirstly, quite dissapointed because we were allocated at Block C and the room was different from the pics provided when booking (no fantastic view, no bathtub like shown in the booking). Plus our room facing the city and there's ”birds” loitering ard the balcony. There are 3 blocks and the block C given to us itself quite empty and scary too. When we walk ard the hotel area at night can see only few units are occupied. Even the atmosphere at Block C were eerie luckily no ghost of cos if not we would check out immediately. We dont even dare open the curtains cos too eerie after knowing not many occupants/guests at Block C. My husband told me he actually asked to upgrade room to Block A few days before we check in, but was informed no vacancy at Block A. But when we check in, we asked to change to Block A but was informed need to top up rm250 per night because Block A. So conflicting of information. Plus, they should just fill up visitors to Block A or B, so it wont be too scary.
Secondly, the toilet bowls are not that clean with yellow stains.
Although, we were surprised with the ”birthday” bed decoration and ”birthday cake”, the atmosphere at Block C is eerie itself.
Definitely not coming back.

If you're looking for a peaceful, luxurious stay with a stunning natural backdrop, this is the place to be. The apartment complex is situated on a beautiful hillside, offering panoramic views of Ipoh’s lush greenery and limestone hills.
Apartment Features:
The apartment I stayed in was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed. It had an open-concept layout that combined a comfortable living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy dining nook. The kitchen had all the essentials—fridge, stove, microwave, and even a washing machine, making it perfect for longer stays. The living room had a large flat-screen TV and comfy seating, creating a great space for relaxation. The bedroom was cozy with a large, comfortable bed, and the bathroom had a clean, modern feel with a spacious shower and high-quality amenities. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially with Ipoh’s warm weather.
Service:
While staying at The Cove Hillside, I felt like I had the best of both worlds—privacy and comfort, but with access to excellent service. The staff was incredibly friendly, offering quick check-in/check-out and always willing to help with any requests. Housekeeping was efficient, keeping the apartment spotless during my stay. They also provided helpful information on local attractions, making it easy to explore the area.
Amenities:
One of the standout features of The Cove Hillside is the range of amenities. The infinity pool is absolutely breathtaking, offering sweeping views of the surrounding hills. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. The fitness center is well-equipped with modern machines and free weights, great for staying in shape. There’s also a barbecue area that can be reserved for gatherings, which adds a nice touch for family or group stays. Plus, the complex is gated with 24-hour security, so I felt very safe and secure throughout my stay.

PPing HooI recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location is great, and the hotel provides four EV charging bays, which is a fantastic convenience for electric vehicle users. This feature alone is a big plus.
However, I found the room situation less satisfying. I booked a Deluxe King Plus room, but it seemed no different in size or amenities from the regular Deluxe King room, which was a bit disappointing. The room had a noticeable odor, and unfortunately, the bedding and towels were not up to standard. The bedsheets looked worn and yellowed, and the towels were also discolored, appearing dark and yellow. This made the overall room feel less clean and comfortable than expected.
If the hotel can address the upkeep of its linens and improve the overall cleanliness, it could be a much more enjoyable stay, especially with the EV amenities in place.

SserihaqimiThis is the place where i felt safe when i go to Ipoh. As usually the front office always excellent, no deposit because i already settle the payment before, but have to pay 2 night tourism tax cost rm6.
As enter the spacious room with king size bed, the linen was comfy and clean. Also got bath tub and rain shower. But i realise the ventilation fan not working. Lotion, syampoo and shower gel attached to the wall. No tooth brush. 2 free water bottle per day.
Got iron and iron board, the wardrobe was big. Got hair dryer and refrigerator.
I also order the room service which it cost me rm17 nett. Beef lasagna with salad, desert and free drink. Not bad.
Will come again to this hotel if i come to Ipoh.😁

UUtente ospitethis is the second time i’m staying at this place. the first time was booked via agoda. the room is spacious and nice but floor is dusty. but that isn’t a big deal for me. what has really ruined my mood for the stay was the front desk guy. he is an indian man. he called me 3 times on the morning of my stay but i didn’t pick up because i was driving from KL. when i reach there around 2.30 pm after i had my lunch, i gave a call to the number in the front desk (which was his number who called me earlier) to ask if can check-in now or need to wait until 3pm. he said 3pm and i was okay since it’s just a few more minutes until 3pm anyway. no one was in the premise at that time which is why i call the number written on the whiteboard. during my check-in, he is complaining about why i didn’t pickup the call so he didn’t know what time i’m coming to check in. so unprofessional of him to say that the first thing to a guest. trying to blame me? well first, you’re calling in the morning of my trip and you can’t expect me to pickup the phone when i’m driving? you could have just leave a message on whatsapp if i didn’t pickup the call. everybody is using whatsapp nowadays so what’s so hard to reach me?
second, he asks for RM50 deposit but my mother didn’t hear at first so she asked what the RM50 is for and he said to buy KFC? repeatedly saying to buy KFC. is that suppose to be a joke? we all know he’s just trying to be sarcastic to my mother because that isn’t funny at all to us.
during my first time stay at this place on Dec 2023, Mr Poon whatsapp me A DAY before my trip to confirm my booking and my arrival time. it was pleasant and easy with Mr Poon which is why i choose this place again for my second trip but turns out, the front desk is a different person this time and he really ruined my mood during my stay there because of his unprofessional attitude.
