"Aveva un pasto davvero fantastico. Tutto era perfetto. Ora stanno facendo dei biscotti fantastici, e voglio dire, i biscotti giusti con le basi della pasticceria, e nemmeno i basi soggy. La pasticceria era leggera e grigia, il riempimento era generoso e bella cucina. Ho avuto la torta e la torta, ma ho anche avuto il pollo e la tosta prima. Sono stati perfetti. "We’ve been coming to Bantham for years but we hadn’t visited the Sloop for a while. It’s seen some changes over the years but tonight was a triumph. Poached Haddock Thai style, Haddock and Chips and Scampi and chips. Absolutely colossal. Huge portions but superb and fresh. To add to the mix was the lovely staff both in the bar and at our table. Would thoroughly recommend "

"My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at Glebe Farm Bed and Breakfast. Tim and Sheila were very generous with their time and advice, and the breakfast offering was fabulous. The property itself is beautiful and in a brilliant location. It is very peaceful and the bedroom & bathroom facilities were exceptional. The views from the windows in the bedroom were magical. We felt very welcome and at home during our stay. Will definitely be back to visit so we can explore the bits we missed this time!"

"Chiamato qui per un pasto di sera. Non sembra molto dall'esterno, ma piacevolmente sorpreso. Avevamo prenotato, ma non ne avevamo bisogno, perché era quasi vuoto. Le rocce di aglio come un serpente erano eccellenti e il resto del pranzo e buon valore."

"My wife and I stayed at the Sloop Inn, Bantham, for one night recently on a Coast Path walk-through. We were expecting a clean, comfortable room with all the essential amenities, and we weren’t disappointed. What we didn’t expect was a true gastro-pub gourmet experience. All the dinner menu items are made with fresh local ingredients from scratch and are varied, generous and tasty. The classic prawn cocktail is loaded with succulent fresh prawns and the fish pie is to die for. Even the standard burger is so much more than standard. And the bar staff were cheerful, friendly and attentive. Breakfast the following morning was likewise ample in proportion and delicious. Had we not been walking through, the temptation to stay longer at Sloop Inn would have kept us there for further gastronomic treats and hospitality. We highly recommend this establishment in beautiful Bantham on the South Devon Coast."

"the hoel was booked as b&b as it is advertised. Surprised that no breakfast is supplied.When we arrived no key was left and when I found someone they were surprised to see us as though we were not expected.We asked about breakfast and the host said no breakfast,that is why they have a fridge in the room. It was not turned on and inside was a carton of milk that was obviously off.They had a small bottle of washing up liquid so as to wash any crockery in the bathroom sink.when we were taken to the room it was down a dark corridor ,the host did not tell us where the light switches were. It all seemed an inconvience.We were not shown where the the resturant/bar was ,presumably they were not open.the whole place seemed unsafe.At the entrance were boxes still there next morning.We felt that we could not stay so left the next morning and found a lovely place that had breakfast for the same price."
