The best thing about this hotel was the free parking and the helpful staff on the front desk. We were on the 2nd floor of the hotel and the steps were filthy which makes you wonder what the carpets are like. The hotel smells. We left our window open for fresh air to be awakened by people smoking outside below our window. The hotel room also looked and felt dirty with mould in the bathroom grout. We didn’t raise our concerns with staff as the issues are way outside their control, but I raised it in the survey the Hotel sends you post stay. We have been travelling for 5 weeks and this would have to be the worst accommodation we have stayed in for the price paid.

We stayed over the weekend to visit the HP studios. What a great find. Good location with plenty of parking. HP studios only 5 min drive away. The checkin was quick and easy, the room was great with everything we needed. The breakfast in the Morning was tarts and plenty. We will be back.

We stayed here 2 nights from 27th to 29th Oct this year and had an incredible stay. We were staying with our 2 children aged 9 and 6 to take them to the nearby Warner Brothers studios. We checked in on evening of 27th. Night receptionist was very knowledgeable about the local area and recommended some great places to eat. When we arrived at our room the children were delighted to find a little cup of Halloween sweeties on their beds and this was such a lovely personal touch. Breakfast was well set out with plenty of choice. Sadly we had to leave a day early due to a work commitment and the manager went out of his way to arrange a refund for us for the next night. I hadn't expected this at all. I thought that we would just lose the money. We felt very looked after and well taken care of. Great job Premier Inn!

An excellent premier inn. Always great service and delicious breakfast. Comfy beds, good TV and restaurant next door if needed. Great access to local services and attractions. Easy rail links. Overall, very good value. Could do with EV charging points though.

The breakfast room at this establishment is nothing short of exceptional. From the moment you enter, you’re greeted by a warm, inviting ambiance that immediately makes you feel at home. Thalles, who was attending to guests, provided outstanding service, going above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. The food selection is top-notch, offering a wide variety of both hot and cold dishes. Freshly baked pastries, a selection of artisanal breads, and a variety of fresh fruit are just the beginning. There’s a wonderful assortment of local and international options, catering to all tastes. Every bite speaks of quality and freshness, making it clear that careful thought and preparation went into each dish. Thalles was attentive and thoughtful, ensuring that coffee cups were always full and that any requests were promptly met with a smile. His genuine care for the guests added an extra layer of warmth to the entire experience. Overall, the breakfast room experience was delightful. With an inviting atmosphere, exceptional food, and attentive service by Thalles, this is the perfect way to start your day. Highly recommended!

Such a lovely visit. Staff where friendly and smiling breakfast was nice and tasty. Walking into the bedroom was a nice surprise with towels shaped into swans and sweets was a lovely welcome, room nice and clean. Thank you for a lovely stay and would stay again

This hotel is really poor the room was damp and smelly. The bathroom wasn't really clean and tiles had mould on them as did the shower screen. The cooked breakfast was cold and unappealing as was the restaurant it was served in. You couldn't get a bar snack in the Miller and Carter restaurant bar, unless you were the Manager's daughter who got her ice cream ok in the bar area. Thought you are supposed to promote sales. Wouldn't bother trying to eat in there for a family celebration or family Christmas meal as they can't look after potential customers they had.

Whilst this Premier Inn doesn't have aircon (many don't) we were surprised to be parboiled for 3 nights with the room temperature ranging between 24-26 degrees for 3 nights, when there wasn't a heatwave happening outside the premises Windows didn't open enough to cool the room down, but enough to let in chatter from neighbouring Miller & Carter patrons in the evening or the bin collections early morning. And there's not much soundproofing between neighbouring rooms so be prepared to hear & be overheard by other guests. Other than that, the staff are as friendly and helpful as the building infrastructure will allow them to be!

Fantastic stay. Comfortable and clean. Very quiet hotel. I was surprised to see so many people at breakfast as there was no noise from any other rooms. Very friendly staff - from reception, cook in the kitchen and cleaners. Made feel welcome and nothing was any trouble.
