To whom it may concern, HORRIBLE!!!!!!! I cannot believe that in 2022 I was treated in such a manner. As I was checking in to the guest house, my boss had made the booking, I was told that “we didn’t expect someone that looked like you” I though it was because my boss was female, hence the comment. As I was having dinner with a friend, I was abruptly and rudely disturbed by a banging knock on the door informing us that we had to leave immediately, no excuse to respond or talk just being shouted at and told to leave. Not only was I embarrassed but I was petrified by this tall Afrikaans man who kept screaming at me as if I was a child. As confused as I was, I went to ask what the problem was, the Manager and the owner gave me no explanation but told me I can leave and they will not refund me, the manager banged the door on my face and told me he is tired and it’s late and he wants to go sleep. I couldn’t sleep at all, I waited for the sun to come up and I left and looked for alternative accommodation while I was booked there for a week. I refuse to believe this is how they treat all their customers, it was clear to me that it is how they treat customers who look like me. Horrible Experience, would not recommend this place to a any person especially a person of colour. Till today no one has ever phoned or emailed me to try and explain or at least apologise or maybe even ask why I didn’t stay for the duration I had payed for.

What a beautiful B&B with very spacious and comfortable rooms. Awesome service with generous breakfast. Very clean and tranquil outside with a beautiful Koi pond in the garden. Highly recommended. Thank you for a great experience.
