Arrived here on a Wednesday night with no football on at the stadium next door. Large car park adjacent to hotel with a friendly welcome which was well received after a drive up from Nottingham. Modern, spacious and airy hotel which is a nice contrast to the well known chains. Room was great - bed especially comfortable - and good WiFi throughout. All the staff were friendly with prompt service. Good food in the restaurant throughout and always nice to see Carling available when north of the border. For those that drive a lot with early starts the next day, a ‘weak’ lager is my go to.

Dean Park Guest House is fantastic. If you're staying in Kilmarnock I would highly recommend it. I'd booked it for a one night stay as we were travelling through Scotland to Skye. Fred is a wonderful host and has thought of everything to make the accommodation comfortable and attractive. Our room was spacious, clean and bright with excellent ensuite facilities. Breakfast, cooked to order by Fred, was absolutely terrific. The location is excellent, being only a short walk into Kilmarnock. Unfortunately Kilmarnock itself is rather rundown and unattractive. There are few places to eat but we had a drink in the Wetherspoon pub, which does food too, and was fine and then had a very good curry at the Jewel in the Crown. We're unlikely to visit Kilmarnock again but if we did I'd definitely stay at Dean Park Guest House.
