Very nice and confortable hotel. Amazing staff and service. I recommand it.

I spent some wonderful days at this hotel with friends. First of all, I liked the location - everything you need is within standard availability, excellent breakfast and top-notch service. Very polite and professional staff, took into account all our wishes. I recommend!

An impressive hotel building close to Maidan (independence square), a few minutes walk. Also near the cable car that takes you down to Podil area next to the river. It's here you find all the restaurants, Excellent sleep quality and a spotless room. Staff second to none, always helpful. Breakfast had everything including an "egg station" with a chef.

Although we had visited Kyiv many times before, this was our first time at the Intercontinental. I must say that we liked everything about this hotel. Very professional staff and most pleasant. I was a little picky about my room and the front desk manager Nataliia was most accommodating. I rented a meeting room for a one day conference and received excellent assistance from Victoriia even with some last minute changes on my part. I was very pleased with every aspect of the service. We reserved club rooms and the club lounge was very good, both the food and the service. Breakfast was probably the best of any Intercontinental hotel we been to and we have stayed at many. Again the service at the breakfast was fantastic as well as the restaurant for lunch. I was very favourably impressed with the Intercontinental Kyiv and the hotel is very beautiful. Wedgwood dishes for the tea time at the club lounge was a most excellent touch. We enjoyed our 3 nights and wish to express our appreciation to the management as they did a great job in training the team members. As a Diamond Elite and Royal Ambassador with IHG I am grateful for our experience at this property.

The stuff was unfriendly. Nobody smiled. When I came to the reception desk, the guy did not even raise the head. He was busy with his stuff. The Administrator called me and asked if I came to the forum. After my reply she just told “ok, go back to the reception”. So, I kept staying and waiting. After some minutes he finally looked at me and told me “Wait”. Without saying hello. Another guy came out and checked me in with a very weird question “How will you guarantee you will not use mini bar?” Are you kidding me? It’s a 5 star hotel. The mini bar was empty by the way. When my card did not work in half a day his response was “it’s your card it worked before”. But after seeing my reaction he fixed it. I also told him that the room was loud. The reply was “that’s because it faces the street”. Make conclusions yourself. The girl next day was very polite and kind.

I am seasoned traveller with a status that I would have stayed at Hilton or Marriott if not required to stay this hotel by my work. How glad I am that i stayed. This is a wonderful experience from the comfortable rooms to the excellent breakfast. The staff provides some of the best service I have seen anywhere in the world. It is located to some of the best restaurants in Kyiv. Overall ,this is one of the best experiences and now i am starting to be more open about IHG hotels.
